Now that the combat is over I am going to withdraw from the campaign.
My hefty DMing duties are not leaving enough time to read the rules thoroughly enough to run my character effectively and I would rather have someone who does have the time have the spot.
Good gaming all!

To answer Gaius, the game currency is gold. It is already assumed that this is a collection of various coins and not necessarily just actual gold coins.
The game assumes that minor expenses (room and board, travel etc) are covered as part of the upkeep phase, so they aren't tracked, only actual purchases.
Outside of Weapons, Armour, Skill Kits and Transport there doesn't seem to be a great deal of gear in the main book.
In short I don't think it worries too much about the economy.
Carousing/Upkeep happens between adventures (is assumed to be about a week) and you spend 3+social Standing - renown gold on... whatever, and then start the next adventure with all your gear back. There's more stuff you can do during that time, but I assume we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Amalrus: always welcome back whenever you feel you have availability.
If I recall correctly 6GP I'd probably enough for a good week or 10 days of carousing, etc... (enough to not remember a lot if partying in a typically Conan way.... lol)
Are there any charts, tables, info etc that you'd like to see in particular on the obsidian portal page?

Wait, there's a portal page now?
I dunno, but, ya, a comprehensive equipment page that shows what all exists and how much it costs would be a good start. Honestly putting elenventy pregens in the players guide but no gear page is just falling down.
Not only do we need to know what the stuff we have does and costs, but we need to know what stuff is good for teh loots.
Speaking of! What of encumberance?? All about Gaius are fallen knights, but how much stuff can he peel of their corpses to sell later? How many days rations can we carry. Etc....

Enumbrance is up to Brawn x2 for unencumbered, every extra multiple after that gives a +1 fatigue penalty (i.e. up to x3 is +1, up to x4 is +2). Above x5 your Brawn needs athletics checks to lift and move.
Encumberance values seem to be 0-2 for weapons (Daggers etc at 0, most 1h weapons at 1, heavier and 2h weapons at 2) Armour ranges from 1 (heavy clothing) to 7 (full plate).
The main book doesn't have entries for food, water etc, as it's generally assumed to just come under upkeep.

Hrm. I guess I'll have question until we go through an Upkeep phase, but that seems more easier than less...easier.
Anyway, that's what I'm on about. Nowhere in the Players guide, and not in the pre-gens, does it discuss encumbrance. That's a good thing to know. Yeah, if you're doing a one-off module, then the pregens in the back have basic data because you just wanna go, but I thought this would be more "bare bones of everything you want to know" ala a Players Handbook.
Anyway, yeah, this isn't anything that a complete gear chart can't cover, so if that was on an easily accessible SRD page, that'd be great. =)
(Wait, there isn't any coinage other than "gold"? There's nothing that costs less than one gold? )

Like I said, the equipment list just doesn't bother with much. If it's not a weapon, armour, kit or mount/vehicle there is no equipment list. And if you want to get technical a Sap is listed as 0+ gold, though yeah, everything else in there is at least 1 gold.
Actually on re-reading: 'Provisions' come under kits as a survival resource.
Resources you can spend to gain a bonus d20 on a roll according to it's type.
So we do kinda have food listed, though i'm guessing that provisions in this case is a more general term than just food.

Very true, RL has been intruding for several days. :(
A new post is up. While I can't always guarantee the every 24 hour posting, I do guarantee at least a couple of times a week. And not just a couple times quickly on one day and nothing for another week. If that has been the case I do apologize.
I'm still getting used to a system that is far from the D&D that I have been familiar with for a few decades. I want to make sure to keep the Conan feel, and not drift into that normal d20 game mode.

I said...I guess. When something comes up it only takes a few seconds to post and say something. It's only when you dump and run that you don't say anything.
I've only been seeing 1 post a week. I thought it was going to be more often. My apologies.
