He's a player in a couple of games I'm in too, and he's been gone from those.
I'm not sure what's up, but I'm inclined to believe that he's just doing other stuff. Duboris posts quite infrequently.
Sorry about the delay yet again, guys. That being said, it's story time, yet again, and again, and again... I really do apologize.
So, until last month, I had been living with my ex-girlfriend in an apartment with 3 other people besides ourselves, and in the first month of that 6 month expanse of hellish stupidity, we'd broken up and it made a lot of trouble for myself.
So, in the first month we broke up, and then we kicked someone out because they didn't pay rent. After that, another guy left and the rent went up again. Spoiler alert my ex didn't take well to that, and it caused a lot of depressive overhang in the apartment on top of school which added to my lack of posting in the prior months to boot on top of school being school.
Anyways in the last few weeks she's started to threaten me specifically with court for wanting to leave the apartment and I've been going through that in strides, on top of her asking for money for the months I'm not going to be there.
So yeah, with that said, I have that court date.
Oh and she had condoms in the sheets of the mattress she no longer wanted, and I recently learned she'd cheated on me, so yeah. No small amount of mental fatigue this last bit.
That all said, I'm extremely sorry again.
What do you guys want to do, because I really want to continue this, but I keep running into problems with life and whatnot, but I believe they're finally close to being over with the semester starting again soon.
I'm all ears, but I do really wanna continue.
I'm sorry about the personal struggles. I hope things manage to smooth out for you.

Wondrous news! The court cases fell through, what with my Ex promptly realizing that suing someone for 300 dollars cost more than 300 dollars, despite me having explained that multiple times. I am officially out of that apartment and living in a dorm room again, which I'm very about. I kind of lost a few friends that were at the apartment, but only because I carefully told them that I wouldn't be coming anywhere near my ex, which they didn't really seem to understand as to why that involved them.
Anyways, yeah, new roommate, and a good semester in the future. With that, I have news that actually applies to you guys! I get to start posting consistently again, in part due to the fact that my anxiety about this whole situation is completely gone. I'm still a little bummed at the loss of friends, but I've got plenty of others and I've still got you guys, especially Leinathan, what with me and him being in games together for like a year and a half now.
So yeah, that said, the posting rate is going to skyrocket, and I seriously mean it this time. This had been going on for a long while, and it had been affecting my post rate but I originally didn't wanna mention it, until of course it started to have a realistic effect on me.
For the last few months I sincerely apologize, and I can only thank the guys in my own game for sticking it out with me. For the games that I'm currently in, I apologize, but I'm back for real and my posting rate is going to go up. Once again, I am really sorry.
So yeah. Back to business then :D

Some headway on things; I have no maps made for this campaign, but they'll trickle out as needed. I'll try and do a map of the entire complex to make things simpler as well, but that's gonna take a little time. Still! With the chaos above, unless Saru has to roll initiative soon, he'll be fine without one.
That said, the rest of you are not fine, and I generously hope the lot of you enjoy the map :D It's even got movement points!
Speaking of which, when you guys move, please include in your post *where* you move if that's alright? Otherwise as soon as you guys make a move, I'll roll initiative for you all once your set and done.

Decided to not go in that deep after all, but I'll let the die rolls stand where they are. If they try to run past me they have 5 AoO's to get past, so trying to get past Rova will actually be easier.

On the loot note, what was that magic sword I picked up in the hallway.
That was a +1 Glass Shortsword (Not Fragile) that glowed red as a torch.
Sup. So, you guys haven't gotten much loot from all these fights as of late, and that's mostly due to myself not being present to get the ball rolling. That said, I believe the only loot anyone's gotten so far is the Wand of Alarm (13) and the +1 Glass Shortsword. Anyone care to correct me?

I really wish this game could get some new life in it. Most other PbPs I would have abandoned by now, but I love the setting of this one and don't want to let it go.

Okay, so, the map is finished, but I have a very specific set of questions I want to ask everyone before we continue. First, is how does this group feel about Roll20?
I ask because I've lately had Amazing luck with it, and It is without a doubt faster than this setup. Both because my posting rate is laughable due to a mixture of negligence and homework that I blatantly apologize for sincerely.
I know Lein is a busy, busy person, I believe. And I'm not sure about the rest of you, so, allow me to ask. Do you feel as though you could make it to a once-weekly 3 hour campaign that we schedule Every Monday for a point in the week according to everyone's schedule?
Or would you rather I just simply increase my posting rate. I mean, obviously that's what you guys want, but I'm really curious about Roll 20 in regards to you guys.
Definitely Monday isn't a good day for me. I have school and another game. I'd prefer to do the regular PbP format for this game.
While I do love roll20 doing a "live" game would be extremely difficult with my schedule. Standard pbp works best for me as well.
I am the same as Deylar.
I mean, it would be live, yes, but I have a strict 'No talking" rule.
It's basically accelerated Pbp Posting, to me, where we just get what we'd normally get done in a month in a matter of hours on the occasional off day.
It's not really a "Live" game so to speak, since voice and video would be completely off, yeah?
Those of us who play on the boards do so because we want to take part in games without committing large chunks of our time to do so. I frequently have short windows every week to post, but to find more than a consecutive hour or two of free time is nearly impossible.
Guys I'm just downright afraid I have to cancel this. I can't muster up anything for it, and school is basically kicking my ass. I do sincerely apologize. I'll PM you when the summer starts though! We can try again, I guess.
