Nasir al' Shahaadi

Gathering herself, the old woman gathers herself together and slowly shuffles down the street past some sort of pavillion Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 14 and turns down Seraph alley, only to be wracked by another fit of coughing.
Brace self against wall, activate gloves.
| Hajar nar Jundi |
Hajar follows behind far enough to not be too conspicuous
Nasir al' Shahaadi
|
Or he lokes like some hulking dude about to rob an old lady. Just another day in the city.

Inside this massive, farther than you can sense room, is towering stacks of crates and wooden containers. The building’s floor is of hard-packed sand over stone. Some areas are completely open, while others are veritable mazes of crates stacked all the way up to the ceiling twenty feet above.
(It is about 2:30-2:40am at night.)
Lightning from the clouds flashes white light over the city of Katapesh, and booming thunder quickly follows. But the lighting stays in the heavy dark clouds above.

Continuing down the street, Nasir turns the corner, shuffling along as she looks out to see if anyone may be watching her.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Luck had to run out eventually
Nasir al' Shahaadi

Sorry since I don't get notifications I forgot. Is it possible to add me back to the Current Players?
| Hajar nar Jundi |
Hajar moves to investigate the light.
It's all I really know to do at this point...
| Khayal Bin Haleen |
Khayal will stay near his brother. Hands near his kukris.
He looks around for any sight of danger. perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Looping around the other building, Nasir stops for a moment on the far side to adjust her sleeves, changing her attire to that of a streetwalker advertising her wares. She walks back towards the others with extra sway in her hips.
Bluff: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
Disguise: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Yazi
|
Perception: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (6) + 18 = 24
It's kinda hard for someone putting that much sway in their hips to not catch Yazi's eye, even with them having slightly more important things on the table at the moment. Mmmm, on the table...
"Well hellllllllllooooooo, what's a fine look-wait, Rose?!" Yazi's face goes from on interest, to confusion, and back to interest as the dancer returns.

Nasir can't resist the giggle that slips out at the look on Yazi's face. Winking at the untamed warrior she purrs. "No,, carry on.You know how much I enjoy an appreciative audience."
Nasir al' Shahaadi
|
Smiling, Nasir gives a rundown of everything she was able to observe, highlighting the maze of shelves on one side of the building.
Yazi
|
"Oh right! We got to get that scroll back." Yazi says before turning to her bound tag-along.
"Anything else we should know about this place?" she asks him, her usual effervescent self.
| Khayal Bin Haleen |
Khayal stacks up on the door and then nods to his brother ready to go in. Kukris out
should we post a guard outside to prevent escape?
| Hajar nar Jundi |
Hajar shoves at the door, attempting to gain entry.
Yazi
|
Leading the bound man over a ways where he'd be out of the rain with some cover she ties him off. "Okay, if you'll be a good boy and behave I'll make sure you get a treat when we come back out." With that she'll give the thug a kiss on the forehead before rejoining her friends in storming the warehouse.
| GM_Pace |
As Hajar bangs on the front door, footsteps are heard, and the door swings open. A beefy human peers out of the doorway, nearly shouting, "We're closed. Come back in the morning, dumba-. Wait." The large man stares at the figure in front of the door.
The guard recognizes Hajar, evidently from a description. He's hostile towards him.
SURPRISE ROUND
Init:
Hajar: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Monsters: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
"Get lost, loser." the guard sneers.
(Hajar)
| Hajar nar Jundi |
Oh man! I am sorry!
Hajar barges in!
Bullrush!: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Hajar shoves the man backwards!
You will give me back the Scroll! he shouts
| GM_Pace |
Everyone else in the adventuring party sees the paladin push the man back into the warehouse office.
The storm crackles above the city, the heat lightning showing flashes of daylight brightness among the streets.
ROUND ONE
Init:
Bartan: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Hajar: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Khayal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Yazi: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Nasir: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Rayhan: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 (Yes, he's with you, just in the back.)
Monsters: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
(Khayal - wrote the below before I realized you were first. Not going to change my rolls. They're inside, anyway.)
You push the One Source thug into a dimly light room with a large desk in the center. A pair of leather chairs sits to the east, while to the west is a long table. There is a large door to the North, and a normal-sized one to the West.
The thug, pushed to one side of the table, snarls and pulls out a short sword.
MW short sword on Hajar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 (Even with the -2 to your AC that's not gonna hit.)
(Khayal, Nasir, Bartan, Rayhan, Yazi, Hajar)
| Khayal Bin Haleen |
Khayal move past his brother. Probably provoking and swings at the thug before him. kukri: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (14) + 18 = 321d4 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12
Khayal barely missing the man's neck instead contacting his shoulder.
| Hajar nar Jundi |
Hajar draws Tempest and smacks the Thug with the flat of the blade
Tempest Nonlethal: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 Nonlethal: 2d4 + 12 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 4) + 12 + (1) = 19 The 1d6 is lethal cold damage
Blade of Mercy (APLF 9): When striking to inflict nonlethal damage with any slashing weapon, you do not take the normal –4 penalty on your attack roll, and gain a +1 trait bonus to any nonlethal damage you inflict with a slashing weapon.

In a staggering display of flowing agility, Nasir moves past the brothers and the thug before they can even register her presence, spending a brief moment atop the table before flipping off to land behind him.
Perform Dance (replacing acrobatics): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29
Using Versatile Dance
| Bartan Harrowborn |
Bartan tries to follow Nasir's lead, somersaulting through the doorframe.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Unfortunately he's nowhere near as agile as her, and likely gets smacked by the thug on his way through.
Assuming he does eventually end up inside the room, Bartan charges his deck with cold, arcane energy, then draws a card and lets it fly at the man.
card toss: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 plus cold: 1d6 ⇒ 4
| GM_Pace |
Khayal ran in and struck the door-opener, Nasir tumbles into the room, Bartan following her. The thug in the room, having already swung at Khayal and missing, was unprepared for both Nasir and Bartan. He took the hit, the playing card slashing across his chest, leaving a frozen trail in its' wake. Rayhan went to the door outside, Yazi beating him to the doorway. Hajar's blade collapsed the thug.
ROUND TWO
Init:
Bartan: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Hajar: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Khayal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Yazi: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Nasir: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Rayhan: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
Monsters: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Rayhan came in and closed the door behind him and Yazi. "Quietly, my friends." he cautioned. "We do not want the city guards to find us before we can prove the One Source Guild holds the Scroll."
A large desk stands in the center of the room. A pair of leather chairs sits to the east, while to the west is a long table. The room is lit with lamps, but remains dim. Doors are to the North and West.
Someone is opening and closing a door to the North, beyond the door to this room.
(Khayal, Bartan, Hajar, Yazi, Nasir)
Yazi
|
Perception: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (7) + 18 = 25
"Someone's either coming or going from the room beyond." Yazi mutters as she draws her axe and heads to the northern door.
| Hajar nar Jundi |
Hajar follows his brother, Tempest at the ready.
These thieves will rue their actions. he growls.
