I hope everyone enjoyed Memorial Day. I'll give a few more hours on the Game Thread.
It was enjoyable here. My wife and I took our baby to Greenfield Villiage a large indoor/outdoor museum of American history. They had a civil war memorial theme this weekend, and the weather really cooperated.
It has a bunch of houses, historical objects and buildings like the Wright Brother's workshop and Rosa Parks' bus.
This weekend was especially cool because they had a bunch of reenactors shooting cannons and demonstrating civil war infantry and calvary tactics.

I had SUCH A BLAST at PaizoCon! I'm still recovering sleep though, for sure.
While I was running my Kobolds ACG special on Saturday, none other than Mike Selinker sat down at the table and played with us, and then he looked at all my stuff I had designed, and said he is interested in making a kobolds character deck. So, that kinda made my life. LOL
It sounds like people are hankering for a fight. And that's fine, Khayal would be happy to get the rest of the crits he needs. But right now half the party is pretty low on health and those things hit like tanks. Before we provoke a fight, we aught to make sure the party is near healed up.
I've got plenty of rope, might as well make it knotted.
I fine with any option. I just feel some campaign stalling and don't want that to happen. I like you guys too much. If Hajar heals us up a bit, I would not mind doing whatever.

The room you're in is not that good for an open fight. It's entirely the earth genies' home territory. Yes, at Level 10 a lot of you can hit hard and survive. Others, not so much. But you're not specialized against earth elementals/genies. They have the advantage.
You can't win every battle. You haven't played all of your cards, either (I'm not just talking about our Harrow dealer). There's a few "force multipliers" that could have turned the tide of battle entirely in your direction, if you had used them. And Oberhak rolled his Bluff really high.
So, fall back and regroup. You don't even really need teleport to get back here - a fold space is easily within range from the surface. And you do have an invite from the sphinx to go visit the southeastern beaches.
Lacuna? I'm going to have to look that one up. "A blank space or a missing part." Huh. You learn something new every day.
Yeah, I agree let's go regroup and deal with this group later on.
Do you have time...I can't say everything as the GM, but you've seen the worst of what is happening because (right now) you're the most widely traveled of the groups in Kakishon. Oberhak's just told you about his shaitan spies, and you know about Dilix's servant going around in Nexian galleys, gathering information.
As long as you don't have a "Truman" moment and find "Sagittarius A" falling down at your feet, or more of those purple-lightning storms, I'd say you have a couple of more weeks to go. Rayhan found the heart you've all been looking for, and there were some other hints inside the underground chamber, you just have to decipher them (go visit the right creatures/people, hint hint). So if there is a "heart", things would get bad first at the outside and go inwards.
Someone needs to send the goblins packing.

Just two lethal and the waterfall 8d6 nonlethal, according to the book. You could potentially fail just the last two and still fall off, etc.

Hey, We are having some weather related issues here (I have satellite internet so...) and I'm taking my family on a mini vacation from Thursday-Sunday. The Hotel should have WiFi so I'll try to post daily, but if I don't you know why. If this is a game I'm GMing, I'll be back on Monday for sure. If this is a game I'm playing feel free to bot away.

Ok, just to let you know, I've got Vacation Bible School at my church this week, and I'm a volunteer for the all-morning classes. I'm one of the grunts directing parents' cars in the parking lot and carrying stuff for the other teachers. So posts will switch to afternoon/evenings.
