@Emmeline: I'm not going to eat you. Arwyne has informed me that you are the most inedible living creature in both our worlds.
This is how Xerxes judges people - whether they are prey or not worth it. He's best friends with Arwyne because when he pounced on her, she slipped out of his grasp and knocked him out with the flat of her greatsword. Speaking of Greatswords, how many are there in this group? I've counted three.

Interesting method of judging ya got there...

@Doc: You have actually managed to pick the perfect avatar for your character. I approve.

Clothes? Most people seem to be missing some from their sheet, and thus I can only assume they are completely nude under all that armor.
Seriously though, just flip through "Alchemical Creations" and pick up some of the more helpful items. Fire-resistant boots, powder, weapon blanches, etc.
@Doctor Rogers: Know also that I can dispatch you with but a flick of my claw, human.
Though would doing so in a group of various monster/witch hunters really be a wise action?

Thanks. You'd be surprised at how many scared old man avatars there are to select from.

I vote that Xerxes be team leader.

Well, I get that, but I'm also trying to keep it in-character since she's effectively acting like a savage. (It's not like she can really go into town, after all.) She'd have rags, enough to cover herself up, and it's not too far off to say that she could have found the cloak and backpack. Thanks for reminding me that I need to put the clothes on the sheet, though. ^^

Well you could have said you found these items with your backpack.
There are still many natural plants and chemical concoctions that you can make use of. Fury Drops, Barbarian Drops, etc. At least pick up some sort of silver or cold iron weapon for DR penetrating since we are probably going up against so many spooky monsters.

@ Arwyne, I'm playing the Fey PC RVT mentioned in the OP. Which is the First Folk race from Rite Publishing.
There's also a racial paragon class for them, which is my current hold up.
With it, I can pretty much fill any kind of role. With the right choices, I can be a blaster, sneak, beast/wild shape type fighter, or like a bard. I can choose to focus on this special fey dust, which can do all manner of status effects, or I could become more fey, gaining wings, a tail, etc.
All sorts of crazy options, so I'm just trying to figure out what I want.

Thanks, Gadget. ^^ So I'll buy a pair of those and see how much it'll cost to make them cold iron. Efficiency!
(Plus, I can deal either bludgeoning or piercing this way, neat.)
This made me giggle because I remembered that I have a dog named Gidget IRL. I should get Eldritch Heritage and get a terrier to name it Gidget. Xerxes would eat it though, so that idea is out.
| Doctor Rogers |
@Monkey - I think blaster / aoe caster is the role that no one has tried to fill because we're not sure entirely how differently magic will work or if it is intended mostly for villains.
You could rain death on enemies from the skies if you get wings, but the fey dust might help any bruisers on the team.

The problem with the "first come, first served" method of accepting players is that you never know just how good they are gonna be.
For example, let's take you. If you posted as the 8th "party member", but other than that, stayed the same, with your amusing back and forth with the other potential PCs, we would sadly not take you, and thus likely miss out on an awesome PC/player.

dangit, I guess that is true.
also... I'll take that compliment. This time. *leers at*
@Spidre: It's fine. I'm just getting anxious for the DM. You people all have way too many good ideas. If I were the DM I wouldn't have any idea at all who to pick.
To help you with what you need to fix... I like to make aliases for my companions, I.E. Xerxes. it gets awkward when you have to constantly reiterate which character you're speaking as.

Not using the glorious master-shovel
Not using your glorious fists to pierce the heavensNot using all your glory to impale foes with your fists
W-What?
| Doctor Rogers |
Having access to magic and being a focused blaster caster are two different things. I haven't seen someone focused purely on taking out multiple enemies or overcoming SR and AC with ranged magic attacks.
So far, I see a warrior that enhances his physical abilities with magic and a couple of fey with a few magical abilities.
Of course, I could be entirely mistaken about the builds, as I don't use casters much.

My spiders can't speak (as far as I know), so I don't think it will be an issue.

I blame my relative lack of experience with Pathfinder. So many feats, so many choices... I do like Hamatulatsu and Hamatula, but I can't take those yet anyway. I could take Hamatula strike at level 3, though. The problem is that my fists aren't cold iron. Not until level 7, anyway.
That's Monk's Spade seems crazy awesome, though...I'm just a bit leery on double weapons since I've never used them before. ^^;

Sorry to exacerbate the issue, Arwyne, but I've been following this thread for a while and decided I should submit a character.
Presenting Spidre, Mistress of the Many Legs. Someone help me figure out what I need to fix?
Your stats seem off, did you set a focus and foible and THEN spend your 18 points? Also you're missing a "suggested campaign trait".

I have the AoE spells, I have magic missile, I have the insane damage blasting spells. Let me be your caster Doc. Let me in.

I can only assume that your uncle was a Wizard, and also a dick, or you wouldn't be... this about magic.
(^Does not know your backstory in-character)
| Emmeline |
@Emmie: obviously, you must take Weapon Focus (Monk's Spade), Hamatulatsu Strike, and grapple people while hitting them with your shovel, waiting until level 13 when you can spear people on your shovel.
I thought you had to have an open hand or two to grapple things? (Or tentacles, if you're an abberation) I am a confused caliban. :|
