Poking his head in, Andirke looked over the creature. Seeing that is was a fire creature,he tried to speak to him in its tongue. Waiting for it a moment to make sure to not interrupt its work at a critical point, he spoke in ignan. "Sorry to bother you. Do you have a moment to speak?" he asked.

If there was no problem, he will act as an interpreter between the group and it.

The Salamander is speaking Common.

The salamander looks at Andirke indignantly, "Stupid Mortals! I speak of mighty Kro’akoth, the Fire Serpent, Prince of Demons. This is his shrine, and you are fools to come here!”

@Lucifer: "You take me for a fool!?! Try such blatant trickery? You all will die here."

With that he picks up a freshly forged falchion and starts his way toward the forge entrance.

Realizing the jig is up, Ting flinches as the creature charges Lucifer and slashes him with the hot falchion. Hustling into the room, ting lifts his bastard sword off his shoulder, "I still says we's should shut tha floggin' door an' went on our merry, wroight." moving past the thing, he slashes at it's waist.

Orovan shrugs as diplomacy breaks down once again. At least Lucifer's brand of diplomacy. Idly the half-orc wonders if the wayang doesn't need to work on his people skills.

Again, I apologize for disappearing. I had some personal issues that I had to take care of. Things will be back to normal (whatever that means in these times) and I'll be back to posting regularly.

The group moves in to attack with a flurry of swords, punches, and arrows all of which miss the target.

The salamnder stays focused on the rogue swinging his falchion twice at Lucifer. The first attack strikes Lucifer slicing and cauterizing the wound.

Falchion: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
Damage: 2d4 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 4) + 4 + (2) = 13 (2 of whichis Fire Damage)
Falchion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Then the tail slaps at Ting striking him against his waist. The tail then instinctively tries to wrap itself around the tengu, but Ting is able to fight off the tail grab.
Tail Slap: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 2d6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 6) + 1 + (4) = 14 (4 of which is Fire Damage)
Grab: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20

Unable to grab the Tengu, the salamander steps away from its enemies.

Stepping over to have a better shot, Andirke unleashed a barrage of arrows from his magical bow, leaving a line of them in the salamander, one next to the other.

Aroden realizes he has misunderstood this group's preferred course of action. He moves to back them up.

Aroden's right, Ting gave up an AOO last round to give Lucifer the flank and Orovan room to come in. But it's ok if the salamander wants to let it slide :)

Blurting out in pain, "Oy you's bloody well singed me tail feathers wit yer floggin' tail!" He then steps towards the creature, studying it while he moves. Then lifting the odd bastard sword he slashes at the lizards waist, hoping to hit it's tail.

Andirke sends a flurry of arrows at the salamaner, all of which strike the creature.

Is Andirke's bow magical?

Ting moves and swings at the creature, but his sword is a bit slow and salamander ducks out of the way.

Just as the salamander dodges Ting's blow, he steps right into Lucifer's sword. Orovan then unloads a flurry of blows, the second of which strikes true and imbues the salamander with chaos.

The salamander continues to swing his falchion at Lucifer.

Falchion: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12 or Falchion: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

The salamander only had the masterwork falchion on him.

A partially finished breastplate is finely engraved with dozens of flaming serpents. Though it seems it's not fully finished, it's already a +1 breastplate.

In a small leather pouch in the corner of the room is a Spire Transport Token.

Lucifer unlocks and slowly opens the door.

Chains dangle from four iron rings set into the stone of this room’s eastern wall, and small knives and hooks hang from pegs nearby. Blood stains the floor beneath the chains. There are four doors to the north and four more to the south, each with a small, barred window.

Two brutish looking serpentfolk turn toward the door as it opens and a third serpentfolk is in a jail cell cowering in the corner.
