I did not realize that about Havok's action, but it does make sense. I just re read over the rules and I think I better understand the purchasing system with fame. I'll level be leveling up tonight or tomorrow, but will most likely hold off on making any major purchases until we get our sheets. I think Voldarus will probably go range focus and I may tack on the skirmisher archetype. And you said we are headed down the spire, does that mean underground!?

Yeah. The GM said there was 16 levels to Emerald Spire and the stairs we took was heading down. So we will be going deep underground.

Looks fine to me. And spending 2PP for a Wand of CLW I think is a must for anyone who can use it.

As for the Mithril Shirt or MW Agile Breastplate, depends on how much you plan on being in the front line of combat.

I am waiting to see what that ring is going to be, as for PP I'll likely be getting a big ole composite longbow. Ive been wrestling with the same thing about the agile breastplate or the shirt, but I may hold out for a mithral agile breastplate.

And this is something that always bothered more, selling back. Usually it's half right? Well Jafit sold back for full price, and I think that that's fine. Given that we are going into second level and are allowed to completely redo our character , it stands to reason that we could get full price.

Also changed a bit from dungeon rover to deep walker/skirmisher - the only real difference in the deep walker and dungeon rover is loosing some rudimentary trap finding and DD being a class skill, but I don't plan on using all of the vermin stuff from and Lucifer has the traps covered it seems.

Everything is standard PFS. I'll be giving out chronicles (hoping to get them done tonight). Standard hit points for PFS (half HD +1).

I listed the gold above that's on the chronicle so you can get an idea what you can spend (3xp, 4 Prestige, 1398 gp).

I use Hero Lab to create/maintain my characters. I've bought all of the major resources for Hero Lab that have PFS approved parts. I've got about half of the various Companion books. Hope to have all the PFS material for Hero Lab before 2018 ends. Makes thing so much easier.

Also, haven't done much purchasing above 1st level (only 2 characters above lvl 2 and the other is a mage) is there anything that you recommend me picking up.

Figure main thing for Hovok is some form of heavy armor since my dex is low and needing me to be a tank. Also, assuming the disease I picked up will have run its course when we start back without any magic involved right?

Actually, if you look at my notes, I sold things back at half value.

I added 25 G to the total, but a set of Scale Mail lists for 50 G.

I don't WANT to be on the front lines, but, generally, that's where healing is most needed.

Hovok - depends on how much downtime we are assuming and whether Gimble'll give us some latitude beyond the standard PFS environment.

Latitude? Yep. However much downtime we're taking, I can use my Heal skill to try to help increase your odds of saving at each point along the disease path. I make a Heal skill check versus the save DC. If I succeed, you get a +4 on your save roll.

Of course, my Heal skill is only a +4 (or +6 with 1 use of a Healer's Kit).

Pretty sure you can sell back at full value until you play a scenario as lvl 2 due to the ability to remake the character fully until that point.

Was thinking when I failed the save that Gimble said it was a 24 hr duration

That's right you did my apologies.

As for gear, I'm hoping that ring is a ring of protection, which would be good for a front liner, or anyone really. I have no idea what im spending cash on. Does anyone have a problem with me not getting my own wand of CLW this level? I really want to spend my PP on a longbow. I can grab one during our downtime between level 2 and 3 if I need to.

To be honest I have mainly been buying a couple potions of CLW on my characters if they cant use a wand. Probably not the best solution for a longer scenario but would be usable without the checks in a pinch and significantly cheaper. Also kinda wonder what we are going to be looking for as our 6th in this case cause that would potentially change some of the configuration.

Hmm have 5 feats to pick from that would fit in well with this guy question is which one to go with any input would be appreciated.

1.Goblin Cleaver though may have to rename it to Crusher for this guy

4. Pushing Assault

Personally think I am leaning towards either Goblin Cleaver or Furious Focus.

So who's left in the party? I'll be playing a brawler with a single dip in fatalistic cleric, because you can fight harder when you don't care too much about anything. But don't count on me for too much in-combat healing. I can slap you with a wand after a fight though, if you've got one.

I have Lucifer here. He is the group's rogue. I built him to be an archaeologist/tomb raider type of character. Good with traps, is multilingual, and will try to get in flanking positions to assist others and use his sneak attack ability.

traded out my feat for point blank shot and grabbed rapid shot for my archery combat style and changed my archetypes from dungeon rover to deep walker and skirmisher, it doesn't really have much effect this level but I like these better than the dungeon rover.

I'm not going to be to much of a stickler on the buy back for level 1 since you can technically rebuild your character.

For the Land Rush, you get a chance to purchase a plot of land on each chronicle sheet you get for Emerald Spire. So, if you want to buy a plot, you start with plot A on the Land Rush Chronicle Sheet. You'll get the opportunity to purchase a second plot adjacent to any plot you own on each Emerald Spire chronicle.

FYI I shifted my stat block slightly taking 12 dex and only 10 Wis so my int will be +1 and my perception loses its bonus...Think I am supposed to track the rest of the dice rolls that those impact

I think the land rush is a good one for Hovok. I would do it, because it seems fun, but Voldarus isn't really the land owning type and doesn't have a day job.

So I think if you don't set off a trap you can try to disarm it again, and I believe you can take 10.
Not telling anyone how to play, just stating the options as I know them.

If I'm not mistaken I can use martial flexibility later to sword & board with the buckler & bastard sword. It probably won't come up, but I don't think anyone else can use it anyway so I might as well carry it.
Who wants the dagger & the acid?
Don't forget, using disposables in an adventure doesn't take them off the chronicle.

Hello.

Common message for all the games I was participating in:

I know I vanished without warning. Trust me, it wasn't planned. My wife had a new medical condition flare up, and I've been going to work, doing my job, coming home, doing bothe her chores and mine, taking care of her because she's had extermely limited mobility, taking care of her service animal, covering chunks of time that she had pledged towards watching our grand-daughter, and then still trying to keep up with my existing Scouting obligations.

I was suddenly very busy.

She's been better the last couple of days, so I've built the time to craft this message and distribute it. Today she started having a reaction to the medication that was helping her be better, so that bodes poorly. She also has a procedure tomorrow that is part fo the continuum of care for her problem (as required by insurance companies), but her doctor doesn't think is actually going to address her cause. He said tha's another 3 procedures down the list, but the insurance won't approve him skipping down the list or trying multiple things in quick succession.

I want to apologize to everyone for the impact my real-life has had on your entertainment. You at least deserved to hear from me sooner, honestly.

Now you know why I vanished. And why I don't know if my availability is actually going to get any better in the short term or not.
