Does the creature have a mention about ignoring the "half damage" to objects for elemental damage? I assume it would, but don't want to look it up. It also may be a mute point as I don't remember if that line was only for magical damage or all though.

Daseem |

My guess is not easily because it's an artifact however rule 0 applies.
@Foxy what state is the lake in out there? Are we at risk of falling through broken ice?

Daseem |

Daseem longed to close to melee range with the peculiar worm but he wasn't a strong swimmer and he regarded the growing meltwater around it with deep suspicion, letting out a growled "Gorrrum!" In response his crossbow started glowing softly and blinking with surprise he smartly brought it up to his cheek, lined it up to what he hoped was a weak spot in its chitinous exoskeleton and fired!
I was going to have him use sacred weapon but that only works on sacred weapons. Don't feel like changing the flavour text though.

NB I forgot the +2 damage last time from inspire, not that it matters.

Bupkis |

Bupkis doesn't like the look of the massive, centipede-like beast! Since it had burst out of the frozen lake, he had no clue whether cold would bother it; nor did he know how far it could reach. So he decided to play it safe: he backed up, powered up, and sent a small crossbow bolt streaking towards it.

Shooting works like a charm. Bupkis damages the creature beyond repair with his bolt. The orange glowing beast slowly slides back into the frozen lake, where it cools off and and disappears from sight.
This reveals the giant, who looks very angry. She rips off a large chunk of ice and throws it at Bupkis.

Now, that ain't good. If he escapes, he'll likely head straight ta' the others.
he glances down to his short legs.
An' I'm not sure I can catch him.
he will attempt to follow.

Daseem |

Daseem didn't think he could catch it either as he watched it thunder away. "Big f-feet are easy to follow! Let's s-see where it runs ta hide?" he suggested.
Daseem actually has +11 in survival so with a bit of luck he can track it.

"Good idea!", Bupkis exclaims, and takes cover under the illusion.

Daseem |

I'd kind of like to fight these one at a time if possible, is there any kind of cover in the area?

Daseem |

Daseem muttered darkly about giants and rock throwing practice but them he gave Amira a sidelong glance, "Eh do'ya t-think you could summon us up a nice m-mist? Or mebbe a fake wall fer us to hide behind?"
Basically I'm hoping to make their ranged attacks hard. Reminds me, Daseem has a trick up his sleeve.

If'n they wanna' start pitchin' I can play ball. Or, we can try an' make 'em close tha distance.. doubt they'd want us settin' fire to things.

Daseem |

Daseem blinked in surprise as the Giants headed away, "Eh I d-didn't think that'd work. Er what n-now?"
There was some kind of giant's training camp or something they had recruits headed to. I guess we should check that out?
