As the majority of the party is underway to make a personal visit to the top of the wall, the ettin and the giant position themselves at the top of the stairs.

Ivan will select the Dodge bonus and, like the mad lad he is, barrel through the two of them. Thematically, not mechanically. But takes the AoOs.

As Ivan comes up the stairs, he is greeted by the ettin and the giant who push him back down. This sends him bouncing sown the stairs and makes hin an hazard for everyone behind him.

For what its worth, my Bullrush CMD is a 35 vs giants. So almost a fail.

To Ivan's surprise, the giants were smarter than most. They managed to get a hold on the bottom of his shield, and with both their strength managed to actually upturn the stable rock that was the dwarf. His shield, with its slight curve, turns him into the equivalent of a 300lbs metal pipe.
The bowling ball of dwarf barrels down the stairs, he angrily looks up to the two creatures that had managed to insult him so.

Alright then, Ye ought not ta' 'ave done that. He uses another of his martial flexibility's today to cast fly on himself and 5ft step up into the air. Ready to barrel towards his enemies.

Doing his best Neo impression, Daseem dodged the rain of blows. The fact the Ettin was blind was something Daseem didn't even consider! Realising he was still wounded, he gingerly touched his head and the ache vanished with a burst of radiance.

Daseem hits the giant with his big blade, and Menrozzar takes the hill giant apart, by ripping his innards out with the large spear.

Checking the dead you find large equipment of questionable quality, but the belt the ettin is wearing looks different. It's of fine make.

When the combat was over Daseem felt deflated and he sat down on the steps and was quiet for a long while as he scrupulously cleaned his sword and armour with a rag. One the gore had been removed he then poured a little water from his canteen onto his whetstone and set about sharpening the edge of his blade, there'd been a few burrs from the spine of the Ettin that needed attention.

Once this was done he stood up and took a long look into the area beyond to see if there where any obvious next targets.

Following Bupkis' suggestion the group gets off the wall and moves further away from the Cathedral of Minderhal. After walking for several hours through a nice valley you come to a fork. The way doesn't go on, as the mountain side is in the way. The options are to follow the path to the South, or the North.

Dseem looked left and then Dasseem looked right. He glanced at his companions as he pulled out a coin and he remarked, "H-heads north, tails s-south?"

He turned south and walked a few feet before stopping and remarking, "The coin s-say south!"

Bupkis has no reason to argue with the luck of the coin flip, "Guess we go south."

South it is. With walking some more hours through nature you come across something made. The boulder-strewn slopes of the mountains on either side of the valley give way to a series of jagged ravines that split the valley floor. A tremendous stone bridge arches over the widest of these gorges, connecting to a worn path on the far side. On the bridge stand two stone giants, keeping watch.

You are still far away and not noticed.

He creeps forward, doing his best to stay out of sight.

Daseem had been waiting for what seemed like a long time. He idly polished his sword with a rag. Not that it needed polishing, all his kit was extremely well looked after, rather it was a force of habit. It was either that or pace.

Glancing to Ivan, he suggested, "Should be e-enough time? Let's go!"

It would probably be better if Ivan went first given his AC.

Ivan gets a push with the encouraging "You go first!" Which is all that is needed to have the dwarf charging across. But the bridge is long and the legs are short, so it takes a while.

The giants notice that and react with throwing rocks. Their stock of rocks is dwindling quick, without any effect on the dwarf. It is really loud, every time the metal can is hit, but it doesn't slow him down.
