Based on his previous experience being caught in one of the traps, does it seem like Menrozzar is being help by a rope? Would Bupkis be able to free him by taking out a dagger, empowering it with Kinetic Blade, and cutting the rope/snare?

Kitsune Game Master

The trap has 3HP. Whack it with a stick. Blast it to pieces. Whatever you like.

Male Human Bloodrager 7/Dragon Disciple 5 | AC 24, touch 12, flat-footed 22 Uncanny Dodge | HP 109/109 (143/143 Bloodrage); 24 nonlethal | Fort +12, Ref +8, Will +9; Resist fire 10 | Perception +15; blindsense 30 ft. | Init +6 | Bloodrage 33 rounds/day | Active Effects: none

I made sure to leave Ivan a space right in front of me for him.

Kitsune Game Master

Added Melira pic to the combat map.

Kitsune Game Master

Are you all just busy otherwise, or shall I wrap up the interrogation and move on with the story.

Goblin Aether Kineticist 12 HP: 159/159 (84 NL) Force Ward: 24/24 | AC:29 T:17 FF:23 | Saves F:17 R:20 W:12 | Init: 7 | Per:19| CMB:4 CMD:21 | Speed 30ft | Burn: 7/8| Internal Buffer: 1

Bupkis is likely to be completely ineffective at interrogating Melira.

Kitsune Game Master

It's not like there is much to gain without magic.

Ivan technically has left the room haha. Otherwise, he would probably just pulp her head.

Kitsune Game Master

Feel free to retcon the second half of your action to do so.

Fighter 10/Ranger 1/brawler 1 HP:127/127, 0NL | AC: 40(44 vs giant subtype) FF: 37 T:20|DR3/adamantine|| CMD: 33 (37vs trip, 37 vs bullrush, 37 vs overun)(+4 vs giant subtype)|Fort: +17(+5) Ref: +17(+5) Will:+12(+5)| Init: +4 Perception: +17

nah, found a way to get in hehe.

also, stab her scrabbler! gut her like a fish or she'll be a reoccurring villain, I just know it!

Goblin cuisine! Human-Jerky.

Kitsune Game Master

I'm not sure If I gave you the loot list already:

Combat Gear potion of cure serious wounds,
wand of cat’s grace (8 charges), wand of
invisibility (6 charges), acid (2), tanglefoot bag;
Other Gear mithral chain shirt, +1 longbow with
20 arrows, mwk short sword, true love locket
containing a picture of Skreed Gorewillow
(see the sidebar on page 19), backpack, rations
(2 weeks), thieves’ tools, waterskin, 104 gp

True Love Locket (Spellcraft DC18):

Melira wears one of a magic pair of lockets; her lover Skreed
Gorewillow wore its linked match (the PCs might now have
possession of Skreed’s locket following the events of “Battle
of Bloodmarch Hill”). Melira’s locket contains a tiny portrait
of Skreed.

These gold, heart-shaped pendants, which open to reveal
small hollows inside, always come in pairs and must be
on the same plane of existence to function. When two
people with a strong emotional bond (such
as good friends, family members, or
lovers) each wear one of the lockets
containing a keepsake from the other
person (usually a lock of hair or small
picture), the lockets’ magic becomes
evident. After 24 hours of wearing a
linked locket, each wearer knows the
condition of the other, as a constant status
spell. In addition, when either wearer uses
the aid another action to assist the wearer
of the linked locket, the bonus gained is
increased by 1. Lastly, once per day, each wearer may
use one of the known skills of the wearer of the linked
locket, as borrow skill (Pathfinder RPG Advanced Player’s

takes the pendant off, has it forcefully removed, is killed,
or travels to another plane, both lockets cease to function
until re-attuned after 24 hours.

What direction is the sun relative to the ship? I want to make sure Bupkis is in a sensible position.

So, that +1 longbow we just found might be real useful. Who wants the mithral chain shirt?

Daseem is sorted for armor and is probably above WBL so both items should go to somebody else. Perhaps the bow would suit Menrozzar?

Bupkis can shoot up to 120 ft. He's on the forecastle right now, although he could shift if the drakes are coming from a different direction.

Male Human Bloodrager 7/Dragon Disciple 5 | AC 24, touch 12, flat-footed 22 Uncanny Dodge | HP 109/109 (143/143 Bloodrage); 24 nonlethal | Fort +12, Ref +8, Will +9; Resist fire 10 | Perception +15; blindsense 30 ft. | Init +6 | Bloodrage 33 rounds/day | Active Effects: none

You, me, or Ivan could all use the bow. I currently have a shortbow, so I'm willing to allow someone else who needs a ranged weapon to take it. If no one else does, I'll use it.

Could Bupkis hurl a ballista bolt with telekinetic blast, and if so, would it do more damage?

Goblin Aether Kineticist 12 HP: 159/159 (84 NL) Force Ward: 24/24 | AC:29 T:17 FF:23 | Saves F:17 R:20 W:12 | Init: 7 | Per:19| CMB:4 CMD:21 | Speed 30ft | Burn: 7/8| Internal Buffer: 1

Telekinetic Blast always does the same damage, no matter what you throw. Even magical properties make no difference.

HP 30/34, 1 Con damage, AC 18, Fort +5, Ref +10, Will +4, Perc. +7, Init +5, Panache 0/1

I'd love to have the acid and tanglebags if no one else wants them. I'll also take the thieves tools. I'm building a collection.

Male Human Bloodrager 7/Dragon Disciple 5 | AC 24, touch 12, flat-footed 22 Uncanny Dodge | HP 109/109 (143/143 Bloodrage); 24 nonlethal | Fort +12, Ref +8, Will +9; Resist fire 10 | Perception +15; blindsense 30 ft. | Init +6 | Bloodrage 33 rounds/day | Active Effects: none

I thought you could choose to have the ammunition used in telekinetic blast deal its damage instead of the blast's damage? Or is that only so the effect of special materials can be used?

Kitsune Game Master

With readied actions the order will be all PCs, all drakes and then all PCs again.

Besides Scrabbler, who needs a good idea to not get taken away, everyone can post the readied action and the one for the next round too, as the drakes already acted.

Sorry, we were still discussing the loot. I also didn't realize the three rounds had passed.

An explanation: When I say you got three rounds to prepare, then I mean, you post actions for up to three rounds, casting buffs, position yourself, ready actions and so on. And then battle will start without rolling initiative, because readied actions shift the initiative anyway.

Thanks for the clarification.

My understanding was that we had three rounds, and that we were going to play through them. So my first action was to squawk and warn people of what I'd seen.

I had other actions planned but was waiting to post them, and then suddenly we were in combat. It seemed like we'd skipped over the other two rounds.

I see where the confusion came from and I'll know for next time. Upon thinking about it, I like your way of doing pre-combat actions. It's much more efficient.

I think the fight will start when we go around the corner (see the map).

I imagine Uskroth's Armor takes a standard action to activate. Probably best used the round before we move to face the drake.

Yeah I meant to ask about that, I assume you're right and it takes a standard action.

Kitsune Game Master

Command word is a standard action and Urkroth's Armor's bility is activated by such.

Kitsune Game Master

It's 130 miles and 6 days. If nothing interferes.

Why so you ask? There are some more events lined up along the river.

oh I meant the hike to the drakes lair lol. Sorry That wasn't clear.

Kitsune Game Master

I sent you through the woods. When I then put the map up, I had to crop it closely, that you don't see the river right next to the cave. So let's say it's a rather short walk.

I've already made my attack roll: 30 to hit and 10 damage.

Kitsune Game Master

Still your turn. I'll add the damage when I resolve the first normal round of combat.

Hey All, some things came up this past weekend that will likely keep a large portion of my attention for awhile. I will try to keep up a posting rate, but if I am away for a day please feel free to bot me in combats, I hopefully will find time to at least make a check-in post during RP spot but I cannot prmise that. I apologize for any inconvenience in advance.

Kitsune Game Master

A little rearrangement on the map. With this shorter way, Menrozzar might be able to get an attack in.

Scrabbler placed on the roof. Bupkis with kine of sight.

HP 30/34, 1 Con damage, AC 18, Fort +5, Ref +10, Will +4, Perc. +7, Init +5, Panache 0/1

It's not a super big deal, but shouldn't upkis and Scrabbler be smaller icons?

Kitsune Game Master

You can adjust that if you like. But it's hard enough as it is to grab and moce the icons, and I didn't care about that kind of realism.

I'm traveling from now until late Tuesday night. Likely won't have much internet signal or posting time. I'll be back to normal availability on Wednesday. Please bot me as needed

Kitsune Game Master

I don't think I'll get a post in today. Maybe late at night if I'm lucky.

I think we got past the damn, but, those explosives could prove quite useful on the thing in the water or the orcs hiding along the river edge.

The dam is indeed far behind you now.

Want to explode the hidden orcs? Or are you unboarding? Or waiting?
