Rose moves towards Lershoth handing him back the infusions from the other day. [b]As usual he refuses to acknowledge me. so I'll wish you good luck instead. Watch over yourself. Try not die for him. Our people will need your knowledge.

Besides the dragon, Lershoth sees nothing else.

The dragon looks down at Polmar, it then says, "I see. At the ocean shore I have placed a sailing vessel, It should be comfortable enough to hold a few of you. " All pcs can hear the dragon The dragon chuckles deeply." Such a small creature that carries a big attitude. I wonder what will become of you?" With that the dragon flaps its mighty wings and heads back towards the mountains.

Polmar and Lershoth. Head in the direction of the ship. So who is going with Polmar again?

Probably not Nephele, who is still pissed Polmar burned down a significant part of the forest (accident or otherwise).

Female Sylph Druid 4

Yeah but it was (technically) your fault for wrecking it in the first place. Revenge against people who trash nature is very much her thing, I just toned it down because in your case it was an accident, and she considers you a friend/ally.

So the ones going are Lershoth and Jalel. Got it. See Rose, you got some pcs left, and more coming;)

Polmar, Lershoth and Jalel:
You three headed for the shore. When they arrived they found a ship that looked something like this But with a plain white sail. and dark brown wood. As Polmar and a few the others loaded a few things for the journey (Food, water) They then proceeded to study the ship a bit. What they discovered the ship had a captains quarters, a cabin with four bunks (eight beds) and a small galley, But no cannons. The small group pulled in the anchor. The ship then began to drift out to sea. One let down the sail, someone steered and another climbed up to the crows nest. The adventure across the Ever sea, had begun.

Talirin and Siobhan:
Talirin as you stay to observe the area you spot a young woman over the hill ( you barely spotted her though) as she looked over for at you.
Siobhan you notice a cat person standing a top a taller hill searching the landscape you see him now staring back.

Karliah the Scarlet Sentinel:
You stand outside the underground bunker. Amazed at the landscape before you. Blue skies, big fluffy clouds gentle breeze and warm sun greet you. It is a lot like how you imagined it would be, but is some ways different... You don't remember the plants and water having a purple hue to them. You figure though it is from the poison fog that covered the lands for the past fifteen years. Either way the land is yours for the exploring, so without wasting much time you begin. You cross small hills and valleys. Along with walking through small wooded areas, (you hear strange and haunting noises from the larger ones so you avoid them) A river gets in you way but you were lucky to find an old wooden bridge still intact to cross it with. At night you see how beautiful the lands become. Everything shimmers a light of some kind. Grass and other brush glows with a dim purple. The forests and woods light up the areas with different colors from creatures and plants within the trees. The twin moons illuminate everything below as the stars fill the vast sky. After a few days of travel you come to forest that looks as though it had been burned down. You travel through a bit seeing if anything is salvageable, but to no avail. As you walk you see something shine on the ground due to the sun. a gold neckless lays atop a small pile of ash. You pick it up study it then pocket it. You then look up to see a nymph staring at you.
I'll let you take it from here

Rose:
After Polmar, and company have left your underground getting ready for the day. As you decide what to do, you hear a man scream in terror down the northeast tunnel. Folks look worried. Some of the guards look to Rose for instruction while the others head down to investigate.

Nephele:
After Polmar and company, left you decided to check out the forest once more to see what could be done. You feel as if another person is near by. You head in a little further to investigate, and you see a young woman holding some sort of gold neckless. She looks up to see you staring at her.

Rose looks to the group of guards form up near the cave mouth and prepare for trouble. She gathers her rogues and moves quickly into the tunnel wanting to get the guards to go back and form up with their fellows while hoping to move forward to investigate quietly.

Rose:
You try to get to her guards in time, but then hears shocked gasps up ahead. Then she can hear some of the guards saying commandingly, "Put that down! And get on the ground!" Rose catches up to see a man Sam, (the man with the eye patch, who jammed out on the rock many posts ago)

The man looks half crazed but happy. A glowing white orb is within his arms, as if he is holding a precious baby. on the ground at Sam's feet, lies a blonde haired man, dead. His head is bashed in as a bloody hammer lay nearby.

Sam is muttering to himself, "Now she can return. She will finally come back to me."

I suppose it depends on your perspective, I'm sure the creatures in the caves were none to thrilled with our presence back then. Though, admittedly, I don't fully understand what you mean? Are you saying we should be more aggressive in claiming territory? As it is, I'm all for letting the Dragon have whatever it wants. Doing otherwise seems... unwise.

Lershoth looks visibly distressed over the boat. A boat? Water? I've never sailed nor swam in my life... Grumbling to himself, his tail twitching, he does what little he can to assist with manning the ship. At some point, we will take the time to make an extract of 'Monkey Fish' using my last 1st level slot.

Sam, drops to his knees. "It spoke to me. It said I could have one person I chose revived for the life of another... At first I said no. But I became so lonely. So weary. I need her. I need her to survive." Sam begins sobbing uncontrollably.

One of the guards looks to Rose. "What would you have us do with him, dutchess?"

Female Human Polymath Investigator 4

These last few days had been both stressful and wonderful for Karliah. The investigator was relived to finally be out of the darkness... to be in this wonderful, wide world... but... well. Karliah was used to the darkness, used to having something over head. So when she first stepped outside of the underground bunker and into the light... it was frightening. For the world to open up around her, going on endless without an end... how did people live like this?!

But... Karliah was older than fifteen years, and whilst it was faint... Karliah could remember the time before her live underground. Of the wide open sky, of the bright warm sun... and the fear passed after an hour or so, allowing Karliah to take a deep breath and walk down away from her home for the majority of her life. It was time for her to explore... and spread the word of the Scarlet Sentinel’s Return to the world.

Thanks to her training in survival arts, Karliah was able to live of the land rather effectively, not wanting to use the food of her trail rations unless she needed to, knowing that the rations would keep for months without needing to be eaten, if not longer due to magical preservants. She was a little worried that the purple tinge to the water and plants would mean that they contained the poison, so she always boil everything, water and food alike before eating it, seeking to remove any poison.

Eventually though, things changed... Karliah came across a forested area that seemed to have been burned to the ground. Searching though it, the investigator was only able to find a necklace to slip into her haversack... and then she spotted the first signs of life, and it was not a human.

“Hello? What’s your name?” Karliah asked friendly, but cautiously. She didn’t know if this being was friend or foe, hence why Karliah didn’t approach, but didn’t lower a hand to her sword or grab one of her few prepared extracts. Instead, she studied the pale, frail looking humanoid in front of her, trying to figure out what she was.

Siobhan you see the cat man look suddenly to the west, toward the city ruins as if he heard something. You now feel something very evil coming from that direction.

Female Sylph Druid 4

Nephele frowns as she notices the strange female with a gold necklace. Nephele immediatly puts herself on guard, not recognising the stranger, but withholds her magic, there was so much about this forest that she and her friends did not yet know.

"I'm Nephele...what might be your name stranger, and what brings you to this part of the forest?"

Sam stops sobbing then looks at you Rose, his eyes pure white, and says venomously, "Liar." You then feel a strong wickedness in the air. A strong force then emits from the orb blowing you and your men off their feet. Sam then stands and darts further down the tunnel.

Nephele you sense something very wicked coming from the direction of home. Karliah, you feel it too.

Polmar places his hands on his hips and runs at the boat with a joy almost completely uncharacteristic for him. Wow a boat! I LOVE this. If I hadn't been born in a cave....an honest to god boat. We could go...anywhere! We could see things. Quip we can SEE the world. How incredible is that!

Polmar actually begins tearing up. I'm sorry guys...I've put a good face on things but the truth is it's been hard. I just, I want us to thrive you know. And I want to have room to roam and be free and succeed. I know I just told Lershoth that I want us to claim our birthright but I just don't want to be under anyone's thumb. I know I don't have any plans or any reasonable ways to deal with the dragon or the other dangers but I just feel like you gotta believe it will work out. Whether its the fog or that dragon or the orcs or even Rose if she feels like she regulate my behavior on such a small scale. But....maybe the dragon isn't sooo bad if he is gifting us a boat like this.

He recomposes himself and finds his way to the rigging How hard could it be?

The shift in pose when the sylph spotted her and talked to her was noticed by Karliah and made her feel a little uneasy. Before she could respond however, a wave of what she could only describe as pure vile wickedness swept over the area. Instinctively Karliah drew her rapir, but noted the aura wasn’t coming from the sylph herself. “Karliah, talk later. Best we go and investigate what the hell that was!” Without waiting for a reply Karliah began to advance, itching to run but not want to be aggressive to Nephele

Rose cursed under her breath as she ran forward. Get back to the cave entrance. Nothing leaves this hallway without my express say so. If it tries, it dies!

She saw a cat man headed into the ruins as well as a young woman. She lost the pair of them as they were quick and a fair ways ahead of her. Perception roll, Karliah please.

Polmar and his small crew felt a large thud that shook them roughly. they could hear scrapping on the port side of the vessel. Then things were calm again. Looking back, they saw a fairly large rock sticking out of the water. There was now a large scrape on the side of the ship but no serious damage.

The guards Rose commanded replied in unison, "Ma'am! Then got in defensive stances, and waited. Rose ran ahead. After a short time the only sound she could hear was her own breathing and foot steps.
