Maybe we should visit K5 first. That way if we can convince the orcs to turn or leave they won't get caught up in the animal escape. How much invisibility do we have access too?
Sid Keelik
With the extend rod two ten minute casting of invisibility sphere several individual casting of invisibility.
I may be miss remembering but when we brought up causing a mutiny I got the impression it was unlikely to work.
It would be very difficult to do that, the Orcs are petrified of the giants, you may be able to encourage small groups to desert if you can get to them while the giants aren't around
But peeling off some small groups will help.
Calrianne had an ancestor Fabina Blix whose son was lost in the sewer we are about to enter.
Tark Singeskin seems to be the orc leader.
Grenseldek is the giant leader who is looking to make an offering to the Storm Tyrant.
The offering includes the crystal map that we have half of.
We can expect about 35 Orcs in there, 7 giants and 10 ogres.
The brother of the cursed dwarf we met should be here as well (might be the one Sid saw.
Sid Keelik
With all that I think we have few plans. So, here is Sid's suggested order.
"Ok so here are my thoughts on a plan of attack:
1) Release the animals in the fort.
2) Use druid spells call some animals to torment the fort further.
3) Use the fear of bad luck and animal attacks to scare (convince) some orcs into leaving.
4) Start covert attacks, ideally using charm person to get orcs away from the fort, and have Zavier grapple them for a coup de grace.
Sid Keelik
"I don't know, it is a wild card that I don't know put into my calculations. But I figure is they are fighting animals and patching wound it will be less time to pester dwarf."
"Also with our new rod if I extend the spell rope trick we can sleep in another dimention completely safe from enemies."
Dolgrym Sharpaxe
Dolgrym nods at the thought of calling a dire lion and trying to have it fight for the good guys.
Sid Keelik
From the wall, Sid can get into k14 with one move (with fly). Then will open some pens a shoo the creatures out. Hopefully this distractions will make it easier to let the nest set of animal out.
I'm guessing the animals are poorly treated so I'm hoping they was revenge.
Sid Keelik
Sid will leave a little food outside to attract the wolves. Then flying as close to the ceiling as he can Sid opens the pens with his longspear allowing the wolves to get out.
If that goes well he will fly off the the bears.
Sid Keelik
Sid having prepared almost entirely fly and invisibility spells is going to deviate from his plan slightly. He will get to the dwarf and whisper.
"I'm going to free you. You will be invisible and flying. Get out of the wall and move to the east. Find my friends camp. The tell them Sid sent you."
He will undo the Dwarfs restraints, cast invisibility and then cast fly.
"Get going you have 5min if you need to steal anything do it now."
Sid we do the same as before with the wolves. Drop some food, unpen the bears, and fly away.
Dolgrym Sharpaxe
Dolgrym will tryto call a dire lion if there is one in the area and then try to charm it, bolstering the invading force.

Sorry for the delay in posting, not been feeling well for last couple of days
The dwarf takes Sid at his word and flies to the camp as instructed. The bears come out and Dolgrym's dire lion appears. The bears initially disregard the lion and eat the food.
After 5 minutes the dwarf appears at the camp. He is carrying little more than a metal skillet. His beard looks like it has been crudely cut off and his clothes are little more than torn and bloody rags, across his body are numerous scars that seems to be of bear claws.
Kohl Shadd
Kohl gives the dwarf some food and water, along with a quick heal to help him get back on his feet.
clw: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
"Glad to see you made it out. You should rest, but if you have any information that would help us with these fiends, please let us know. Inside information might give us an edge."
Dolgrym Sharpaxe
Dolgrym was play fighting with his new dire lion friend. ”These spellls dont last forever. We might want to get on with the next step of the plan.”
Sid Keelik
I think the dire lion has been sent in according to what the gm worte. So step 1 and 2 are done. I think we are making good progress so far.
"Phase 3 will be up to Kohl and Zavier to scare or convince some orcs in the out camps to leave."
Zavier Vitoly
I say we go straight to boss orc! If he does not listen to reason. Zavier will tie him up and scare the smaller orcs into fleeing!
Can we get to the tent? Zavier should be able to sneak attack grapple the head orc and then we can... figure it out from there?
Daniel Penfold 357
You can get to the tent in K5 you think
The dwarf introduces himself as Umlo
Thank you for rescuing me. Those creatures have kept me prisoner for some time. I was ambushed by them after I was driven mad with my sister in the swamp, I sure hope she's OK.
They kept me in the bear pit (K2) for the most part. I know some things that might help you:
k1: There's always half a dozen Orcs here gurading the main gate.
K5: This is Droja's tent, she's a half orc and some kind of healer. She healed me up once when the bears clawed me.
K7: This is Karrguk's tent, the General, He's a fighter but also a cleric, a real brute of a creature.
k15: The mess hall, where the Orcs and giants eat. There's something undead in there.
K22: The chapel. I've not been in there but I heard the Orcs talking about there being a ghost there.
The giants mainly stay in the lower levels, I don't know how many there are I'm afraid, I was never allowed down there.
Sid Keelik
I think the Tent at K7 is above the mote, so we would need to get over the wall across the mote up the far wall and into the tent.
"Killing or getting ride of the leader may be the fastest way to disband the orcs. This will make it easier to get to the leader Grenseldek who is most likely in the cathedral"
"We need to consider that Karrguk sounds powerful and his tent is in a well-fortified position I can get some of us there but not all of us. We will risk being surrounded. Though I can make us invisible to escape this does not make us unhittable or unfindable."
Kohl Shadd
Kohl thanks the dwarf for his intel and assures him that his sister is safe. (She may not be totally sane, but she's safe enough for now).
"Many orc tribes also have respect for their shaman. If this Droja fits the bill, she may also be a valuable asset to deal with. And if we can sway her, she might be able to aid us in accessing Karrguk."
Sid Keelik
"I think we can sneak in going around the wall and get to the orc leader's tent. I can make us all invisible on the way in and out."
This will have to be on day 2 of the assault.
"I will prepare charm person in case we need to leave with the leader quietly. How does that sound?
For rest we use rope trick and sleep safely in a pock dimension.
Kohl Shadd
Kohl will follow Sid's lead. As they rest, he also mentions that they may want to take advantage of the orcs' superstitions. "If they think the chapel is haunted (whether or not it is), perhaps we can use that against them. Might help us set their nerves a little more on edge."
Daniel Penfold 357
The following day you sneak pack into the fort and head in.
The first area you come to (K8) is a rickety dam which turns away the rushing river water from the dried up moat. Although the dam appears to have been hastily constructed from makeshift materials, it has weathered the years remarkably well. In the diverted river you can see a huge fish
You can have a knowledge nature on the fish and a knowledge engineering roll on the dam
Dolgrym Sharpaxe
”How about just bashing him,” the Druid whispers back.
