Is this ok?
I started to play a character in another PBP but it ended too quick.
He allowed this archtype for a monk...basicly a zen archer for pistols.
Are revolvers allowed?
Zen Gunslinger
Some monks seek to become one with another weapon entirely—the gun. The zen gunslinger takes a weapon most other monks eschew and seeks perfection in the pull of a trigger, the haze of a gun's smoke, and the flight of a bullet fired true.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Zen gunslingers are proficient with firearms in addition to their normal weapon proficiencies.
Flurry of Blows (Ex): Starting at 1st level, a zen gunslinger can make a flurry of blows as a full-attack action, but only when using a gun (even though it is a ranged weapon). He may not make a flurry of blows with his unarmed attacks or any other weapons. A zen gunslinger's flurry of blows otherwise functions as normal for a monk of his level.
A zen gunslinger cannot use Rapid Shot or Manyshot when making a flurry of blows with his gun.
Bonus Feats: A zen gunslinger's bonus feats must be taken from the following list: Combat Reflexes, Deflect Arrows, Dodge, Far Shot, Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot, and Rapid Shot. At 6th level, the following feats are added to the list: Focused Shot*, Improved Precise Shot, Manyshot, Mobility, and Parting Shot*. At 10th level, the following feats are added to the list: Improved Critical, Pinpoint Targeting, Shot on the Run, and Snatch Arrows. A monk need not have any of the prerequisites normally required for these feats to select them. These feats replace the monk's normal bonus feats.
Perfect Strike (Ex): At 1st level, a zen gunslinger gains Perfect Strike as a bonus feat, even if he does not meet the prerequisites. A zen gunslinger can use Perfect Strike with any gun. At 10th level, the monk can roll his attack roll three times and take the highest result. If one of these rolls is a critical threat, the monk must choose one of his other two rolls to use as his confirmation roll. This ability replaces Stunning Fist.
Way of the gun (Ex): At 2nd level, a zen gunslinger gains Weapon Focus as a bonus feat with one type of gun. At 6th level, the monk gains Weapon Specialization with the same weapon as a bonus feat, even if he does not meet the prerequisites. This ability replaces evasion.
Zen gunslinger (Ex): At 3rd level, a zen gunslinger may use his Wisdom modifier instead of his Dexterity modifier on ranged attack rolls when using a gun. This ability replaces maneuver training.
Point Blank Master (Ex): At 3rd level, a zen gunslinger gains Point Blank Master* as a bonus feat, even if he does not meet the prerequisites. This ability replaces still mind.
Ki Pool (Su): At 4th level, in addition to the normal abilities of his ki pool, a zen gunslinger may spend 1 point from his ki pool to increase the range increment for his gun by 50 feet for 1 round.
Ki bullets (Su): At 5th level, a zen gunslinger may spend 1 point from his ki pool as a swift action to change the damage dice of bullets he shoots to that of his unarmed strikes. This lasts until the start of his next turn. For example, a Medium zen gunslinger's gun normally deals 1d6 damage; using this ability, his arrows deal 1d8 damage until the start of his next turn. This ability replaces purity of body.
Reflexive pistolwhip (Ex): At 9th level, a zen gunslinger can make attacks of opportunity with blow from the butt of his gun. The monk still threatens squares he could reach with unarmed strikes, and can still only make one attack of opportunity per round (unless he has Combat Reflexes). This ability replaces improved evasion.
Trick Shot (Su): At 11th level, a zen gunslinger may hit targets that he might otherwise miss. By spending 1 point from his ki pool as a swift action, the zen gunslinger can ignore concealment. By spending 2 points, he can ignore total concealment or cover. By spending 3 points, he can ignore total cover, even firing arrows around corners. The bullet must still be able to reach the target; a target inside a closed building with no open doors or windows cannot be attacked. These effects last for 1 round. This ability replaces diamond body.
Ki Focus gun (Su): At 17th level, as long as he has at least 1 point of ki in his ki pool, a zen gunslinger may treat bullets fired from his gun as if they were ki focus weapons, allowing him to use his special ki attacks as if his bullets were unarmed attacks. This ability replaces tongue of the sun and moon.

Ok, This is Dark Netwerk. Here is the alias for my character. The background is in it. I still need to pick feats and make the purchases.
A couple of questions:
What languages exist on your world and which might make sense given Tenoch's history?
I'm not sure if it is already mentioned somewhere but how do we calculate HPs? Roll, max, average?
Looks good so far.
Languages are pretty much the standard ones. Based on his history he would have had opportunities to learn Xeph, Thri-kreen, Undercommon, Draconic (from his studies), Abyssal or Celestial (also from studies), and Orcish, Goblin, Dwarven, Elven are all languages he could have picked up either in Taluset or on his travels either by sea or caravan road to Chance.

I'm thinking about a Vitalist/Cleric(evangelist). Perhaps the new life leech vitalist. I have never played a play by post game though will this be okay. and also what do I have to do for you to get started. My race is still up in the air but will probably be a psionic race with +wis, perhaps half-giant.

No problem on the lack of experience. Everyone has to start somewhere.
Half-giant is cool. I'm okay with the classes. Bascially now you make the character and I'll review it to make sure everything is okay. You can look at how some of the others have put the info in the profile of their alias and just copy the format. If you have any questions or want some help fitting your backstory into the world I'm happy to provide whatever info you need. For some games the GM will only pick a certain number of applicants for a game, but I'm letting everyone who wants to play join this game. I'm crazy like that. :)

I think I need to rework my entire concept, because it took me a while to realize kensai magus isn't exactly what I'm looking for.
Trying to make something from an entirely different system and all that is a lot harder to translate, and it just doesn't seem to be working. I'll see if I can't settle on something more solid by tonight.

This is shizzle Ok there is nothing for him yet but I'll get to that. He's going to be half fire giant. So if it's ok with you I'd like him to have flames for hair(no mechanical benefit)
As long as it's just visual and you're using the normal half-giant stats I'm cool with flames for hair just to be visually cool. :)

trying to figure out how to make a character on this site now, can we use myth-weavers online sheets? if not, can someone please help me?
I've always just made the character the normal way and entered the info by hand into the profile of the alias. But I'm okay with an online sheet as long as you put the link in the profile.

Making an Alias: Click the "My Account" link up at the top of any page here on the site. Scroll down a bit and you'll see a window called "Messageboard Aliases" and click "create new messageboard alias"
Specific Type of Class/Character: Lyn said that specific concepts aren't needed. For instance, I am building a Fire based caster. You could build a Fire based caster too, and it wouldn't be a problem at all. Just build what you want to play.

wanted to past this along to you for approve.
SGG came out with a bullet point. The High Concept: Twelve alternate class abilities that can replace the bravery ability of the fighter class, to allow a simple way to customize fighter characters.
the one I am looking on using is this one.
Steely Determination (Ex)
Starting at 2nd level, the fighter can delay
the onset of any mind-affecting spell or effect
he is the subject of by 1 round. The effect still
receives its full duration (if the fighter delays the
onset of a command spell by 1 round, he is still
affected by it for a full round once its duration
begins). If multiple creatures are subject to the
mind-affecting effect, its onset is delayed only for
the fighter. The duration he can delay the onset
of such effects increases by +1 round for every 8
levels beyond 2nd.
please give me your thoughts on this.

So, the grippli archer wasn't really coming together for me, at least as far as personality and background are concerned. So I'd like to submit Molasbar here instead, a human wizard rogue/wizard (evoker). Let me know if there is anything you'd like to see changed on him. Thanks!
This should work well.

Testing alias, posting here to see if info shows up properly on the alias page too
Decided upon a Rogue/Battle Sorcerer gestalt

No, I forgot. I'll be taking Breadth of Knowledge and Point blank shot.

Alias is visible and functional. I am sure Lyn will approve your classes, she is pretty easy on that stuff.

I am not sure about anything by this point, since I joined the forum not one of my characters got accepted despite my willingness to modify them as per GM-s wish to fit better, and now I even got into somekind of absurd argument(?) with the Game of Thrones GM, I am not even sure what the heck that is about. :/
So I rather ask clearly, not that my silence while awaiting confirmation is considered lack of interest and I get dropped.

He was just being a jerk. You were nicer to him than I would have been.
edit:I think he was annoyed that you suggested an extra trait, because he felt more than generous with what he was giving. He then took the 3.5 feat as a further attempt to get extra things out of the game.
I can understand why he was annoyed, and maybe he was having a bad day, but if he had taken the time to listen/read he would have seen that it was just a simple question. He seems to be one of those "thou shall shut up and do as I say because the GM is God types".

I'm going to be afk today for family stuff, so I won't be able to look stuff over until later. But no worries about getting a slot in this game. I won't turn away an interested player and will absolutely be willing to work with players to make character ideas work. :)
Also, everyone gets two traits.

Can I take Precocious Apprentice feat for my character?
also, decided on "Courageous" and "Two-World Magic" as traits
