He whips off his headset and taps the vesk on the shoulder. Let's suit up, Dunk, and go play fetch.

Dunk slides back from the console. Frack, but I don't mind dusting these guys, but we're sorta going in blind here. If there's one or two of them alive over there, might it be worth our while to beat some answers out of them. We can kill them after.

I don't mind running point, no matter what we do, but it might help knowing how many of them are down there, what they're up to, and all that.

You don't even have to go over, Booker. Just pull us up close. I'll jump across, tear in to the hull, and extract one of those clowns. We can keep it in the airlock. Once we have our answers, we can space him.

Booker offers a low growl in reply. Eventually, he pipes up. "Fine. But I'm comin' with ya. They're probably armed an' waitin' fer us."

He steers the ship in close, doing a loop around the broken hull and shining the exterior floodlights on it, looking for weak points. At length, he lays the Maiden alongside.

"Let's get this over with." He shoulders his artillery cannon and heads for the airlock.

It doesn't take long to override the airlock alongside the Singularity. Booker, Janzi, and Dunklezahn break on board and find themselves in the airlock.

You can't see what or who he was talking to, but TWO more of the oblivion creatures pass into the airlock!

In a blur Dunklezahn slashes, moves and slashes again. Both slashes hit, but the shade reaches out as he retreats: AoO: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 and the hand passes through his chest! Acid DMG: 2d4 + 8 + 1d4 ⇒ (2, 2) + 8 + (2) = 14

Janzi's disc misses both targets, though the first was a close call.

Hack-it's shot though is on target! Booker scores a single hit, missing with the second by a hair's breadth!

The remaining shades close in on Dunbkelzahn!
