Hack-It
Hack-It keeps scanning the Singularity, hoping to get more details.
Computers: 1d20 + 18 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 18 + 2 = 31
Game Master S
The ship has at least:
Game Master S
Enemy Gunnery:
The Singularity launches another missile: Gunner 1: 1d20 + 13 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 13 + 1 + 1 = 21 MISS
Green Fighter: HEML Gunner 1: 1d20 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 3 = 20
Yellow Fighter: HEML Gunner 1: 1d20 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 3 = 20
Rolling horribly for their guns!
Booker Broadshaw
Booker listens to Hack-It's report carefully. "...an' we know they got a HEML, either starboard or turret-mounted. So avoid the front. Got it."
A moment later he watches three missiles go sailing into the dark. "Man, they suck at this. Anything else on radar? There another ship around an' these jokers are jus' a distraction?"
Here we go gunners!
Gig Razorbyte
With adrenaline running through the Ysoki's nervous system, Gig readies to fire at will. He moves the starboard particle beam and the heavy laser net directly at the starboard side of the red ship.
These shots include Piloting, Dex, and -4 penalty for fire at will. I have not adjusted for any inspiring talks or computer assists.
Particle Beam: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
Damage: 8d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 4, 3, 5, 4, 2) = 28
Heavy Laser Net: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24
Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 2, 1, 4) = 13
Booker Broadshaw
Botting Janzi: Janzi continues to regale the bridge with further facts about mammals writ large, which eases Gig's nerves. Auto-encourage for +2 on the first shot. Janzi also assigns the remaining computer bonuses to Gig (+2 for the first shot) and Dunklezahn (+2 to gunnery).
Gig: a Gunnery check is ordinarily BAB+Dex, but you can substitute Piloting ranks for BAB, not total Piloting skill. So in your case, that goes from 6+4 to 8+4, or +12 total. With the Fire at Will penalty of -4, that would be +8 (8+4-4). Adding Janzi's encouragement and the computer bonus to the first shot, you hit with a 24 (8+4-4+2+2 plus roll of 12). Your second shot misses with a 17 (8+4-4 plus roll of 9).
Dunklezahn

More lights start flashing around the targeting screen in front of Dunk. The targeting computer lights up red as Booker brings the Maiden around. Dunk turns the weapon toggle to take control of the HEML from Gig and presses the flashing button.
HEML: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Damage: 10d10 ⇒ (9, 2, 9, 8, 5, 6, 6, 10, 9, 4) = 68
Game Master S
There's a storm of fire and missiles, but only a bit of it gets through the Singularity's starboard shields. Still the damage is severe.

Hack-It takes control of the heavy laser net. He makes a few modifications at his computer console, allocating CPU bandwidth to the targeting algorithms for the weapon. "Alright, let's see how this works."
