Now that Malice's silence is broken, she continues with her torrent of doom. "So easily do you miss. Is there fear in your eye? Have you forgotten the face of your father?"

Shouting to tack specific tactics, one of the shades moves to flank Booker. Meanwhile the other cultist leaps over the railing to close with Janzi:

The other cultist slashes hard against Janzi, spittle flies from his mouth on the swing. Such violence and destruction is spiritual to the man and it shows:

Malice flies back and up to get away from Dunklezahn. She then summons an enervating bolt of entropy and levels it at him!

Whenever a foe deals damage to you, you can spend 1 Resolve Point as a reaction to shift some of the pain back onto that foe. Unless the foe succeeds at a Will save (DC 17), reduce the damage you take from the attack by 8 (to a maximum of the attack’s damage), and the foe takes an equal amount of damage. This is a mind-affecting pain effect.

Janzi then takes a guarded step away from Nietzche — or maybe it's Heidegger? — next to Dunk. His action will depend on the result of Dunk's save.

Gig, relieved that Malice won't get him yet, moves his hands in somatic gestures and casts Caustic Conversion at the nearby (red) cultist.

Booker's cannon cracks the tiles as it hits the floor. The old veteran spits a wad of bloody phlegm after it and draws one of the sintered blades they took off the dead earlier. "Look bud," he growls at the last cultist, ignoring the shades, "you think y'can take me down with ya? Yer friend thought so too." He flashes the familiar blade for the cultist to see and gets in his face.

"Now he's dead, 'cause I killed him. An' in a minute, I'mma take your blade too."
