Faengrim pulls out his own ranged weapon and fires, putting an arrow into the giant's chest.

Alexander begins a sea shanty that brings renewed courage to his friends and allies. The giant slowly edges forward feeling for the edges of the dock with its toes. As it comes, it hurls another rock in the direction of Alexander, but this one goes long and enters the water with a splash. The giant rubs its eyes, trying to clear them, but to no avail.

Chumtooth hurls his harpoon again, this time to good effect as the giant screams in pain! Alexander creates a slick of grease that coats the dock and the giant slips and falls to the ground! As Faengrim puts two more arrows into the thing, Dantes unleashes a pair of magic missles against it, causing even more pain! It tries in vain to struggle to its feet.

"Kerdak Bonefist will welcome them at a dinner tonight and present them with their letter of marque!" This statement is met with considerably less applause.

If Kroops is really resistant, Dantes will let him go enjoy shore leave.
Dantes himself is too busy fussing to take leave himself. He is taking inventory of the ship's stores for their next outing. He's carefully checking to make sure nothing is spoiled or rancid. If they are going to be bringing more supplies on, he is making sure to have places lined up to store it that will still allow room for maximum loot!

When you arrive, the revelry is already in full swing: tables are laden with roast meat and flagons of ale, mead, and rum, and loud, drunken buccaneers swagger and stagger around the main hall.
Hurricane King Kerdak Bonefist presides over the revelry from his gold-chased, teakwood throne. A blustery man with long black hair and beard, Bonefist looks more pirate than king, forgoing his crown and royal regalia for the long coat and tricorne hat of a sea captain. A tankard of rum rarely leaves his hand, but his most noteworthy features are his pistol and his skeletal right hand, the source of his sobriquet. Already well into his cups, the Hurricane King blearily stares down at you as you are brought forth for introductions.
Bonefist repeatedly roars for silence, only to be ignored, so he finally resorts to firing his pistol into the air to establish a deathly silence after its thunderous echo fades. He glares fierily about the hall until, with an apparent change of mood, he smiles and speaks in a calm voice.
“This fresh catch of scallywags want to add their fine ship to our brethren o’ the sea,” he says, erratically waving his still smoking pistol toward the PCs. “But before I award their letter of marque and make them Free Captains right and true, I say we hear from them.” Bonefist turns his dark gaze upon you. “What say you tell us all a tale or two of how you came by the plunder in your hold?” The inebriated pirates draw closer to hear you speak.

Chumtooth stands and addresses the gathering.
”I am Chumtooth, Cap-i-tan of the Kiss of Vengeance. We have taken many prizes, and fought many foes. Tonight, I will tell the tale of these two heads,” he says, holding up the shrunken head of The sorceress pirate who had the map tattooed on her back as well as the head of the recently slain sahaugin king. ”Not long after we ‘Cracked the Rock’,” he pauses for emphasis, ”the witch pirate bearing the map on her skin and her crew tried to take it from us. They failed. Her head rides on my belt with those of others who challenged my strength. The skin bearing the map was cut away from her dead flesh. We followed it to the island of the giant stone skull. We followed the map into the sea caves of the sa-haw-geen. We fought their entire tribe and killed all their warriors. As you see,” he says, holding up the second head. ”We slew their king. We took the Pirate Witches treasure and the treasure of the sa-haw-geen. The crown of the King we presented to you, the Hurricane King, as tribute. What I speak here is true, and I have shown proof of these deeds. Let none here doubt my strength or that of my crew!”
He turns and gestures to his officers, pointing to each in turn. ”Mark their faces. Learn their names: Dantes, Faengrim, Janus, and Alexander. Know their courage, honor their strength, and cross them at your own peril!”

The young pirate speaks up. "The Captain speaks right and true. We're not merely buccaneers. Our claim rises above being good at being corsairs. No. To be a member of the Kiss of Vengeance you have to be great. Captain Chumtooth expects greatness of himself and won't except anything less from his people. Great picaroons, cutthroats, sea rovers, marauders, and raiders make up the crew of the Kiss of Vengeance, and she is a powerful vessel all on her own. With the Captain at her helm our crew on her decks we have raided ships from Sargava to Rahadoun and from Cheliax to be sure. There was even that one Chelish Man-o-War, the Dominator it was named." Faengrim pauses to let that last bit sink in. "A pirate hunter she was. Now I'll not lie and tell you we did more than we did. We ran, but with guts and guile we left her rudderless and took not a scratch of damage. I even got me a souvenir from her captain." Faengrim produces a feather (doesn't matter where he actually got it from) "Good king, the deeds of the Kiss of Vengeance, Captain Chumtooth, and his crew, have earned your mark. Give us a Letter of Marque to make us honest Free Captains and through our glories your legend will grow."

At the end of your tale, Bonefist raises his closed fist, thumb down, with a questioning look upon his face. There are a few murmurs of agreement, but largely the assembled remain silent. Bonefist then reverses the gesture, putting his thumb up. A cheer goes up from the crowd, loud enough to shake the rafters. With a vicious predatory grin, Bonefist stands and presents Chumtooth with a Letter of Marque, naming the five officers as Free Captains of the Shackles. The celebration lasts long into the night.

Also, I am not the owner of the youtube video I linked, I merely enjoy the channel.
Alexander wrapped up their speeches with one fit for pirate legends, and despite his large partaking of sweet rum, managed to do so without slurring or slipping up on his words. Though, there were a couple large burps throughout it.
Later, Alexander sits back playing his violin, and sings a sad, sea melody that touches even a cold-hearted pirate.
