Alchemist fire is 1d6 for a direct hit.

Alwen hurls the vial of alchemist's fire at the approaching thing and it shrieks horribly as it bursts into flame! Though it's clothes are alight, the creature does not falter, moving forward to engage the elf. It's claws rake his flesh as the creature shrieks, "Kiss me!"

Chumtooth moves to flank with Satinder and slams his morningstar home, catching the creature in the temple. The blow is solid and there is an audible crack as the creature's neck snaps, but the head merely lolls to one side as it continues its assault. Behind the undead, Satinder feints to strike low, severing the creature's left leg at the knee. It falters, then falls, the unnatural light fading from its eyes.

The remaining woman-thing screeches and claws wildly at Chumtooth. Her claws only barely brush his exposed flesh, but he feels his muscles starting to stiffen, but he quickly shrugs off the effect with a savage growl.

Not wanting to get too close to the creature, Dantes lumbers up next to Bangka and touches him, giving him a surge of strength with his arcane power. +2 strength for next round.

The elf is out of quips for the moment, responding to the threat of the rotting women with a fired arrow, drawing his bow to do so.

Assuming that Alwen takes a 5-foot step back, as using a ranged weapon in melee would draw an AoO.

Alwen lets fly an arrow, which embeds itself in the chest of the undead woman, though she seems not to notice.

Chumtooth brains the one that attacked him, but the thing keeps coming, even with half it's grey matter decorating the head of his morning star. That is, until Satinder's rapier pierces her heart from behind. Black ichor flows freely from the wound and the inhuman thing slumps to the ground.

Dantes "powers up" Bangkha and Ayaki's voice continues to provide inspiration for the heroes.

Alwen's opponent stumbles forward, seemingly oblivious to the flames that engulf it's body. It lunges to attack the elf again, but finds that it's scorched feet and legs can no longer support it's body. It collapses in a heap, billowing black smoke.

"Dark magic and wasted meat. phaw!" he grumbles.

"Burn this place," he says, with no hint at discussion.

"I think perhaps after we take maybe five minutes to search for valuables? Seems like they used to be women of vices, there's got to be a few things that are worth taking with us," Alwen comments, already browsing around the tent area, poking through the nasty bits with an arrow.

Within the pile of old and moldy clothing, Alwen uncovers a leather hip flask depicting a crocodile, three very sharp, oft-used daggers, a small wooden chest (locked), two barrels that smell strongly of cheap perfume, a largely intact wedding dress inlaid with pearls and set with three tiny rubies, a whalebone corset with mother-of-pearl inlays, a set of a dozen silver hatpins set with tiny obsidians, and a scattering of gems (about 25 in all).

"Burning it would be a good thing, but the smoke will be visible a long way ahead of where we go.. What say you, wise advisors?" while petting cat under her chin.

Alwen comes out loaded with the loot, everything that can fit in his hands stowed in his pack and the rest out on display. "A rather fancy wedding dress - surprised it isn't in worse condition," He comments, before tossing Satinder the corset. "A lady must have a trim figure, don't you think?" He asks jovially, before kicking the locked chest.

"Alas, I'm no adept at picking locks. Perhaps one of you can make a go of it. Might be something useful inside. Like rum."

It takes several minutes, but Satinder is able to pop the lock on the chest. It opens to reveal a half-dozen carefully-packed glass bottles. Each contains a viscous, yellow-brown liquid. Each bottle is labeled with a stylized "A" with a dot where the crossline should be.

Ayaki:
You recognize the marking on the label of the bottles. It is an alchemist's mark that means the substance is volatile.

Ayaki, There are six. Dantes will take at least one to replace the one Alwen used. If not enough others claim them, Dantes will at least carry the left over ones. He's at risk enough as it is with the bandolier he wears. :)

Chumtooth picks up his harpoon and waits for the elf to move forward, then follows about three paces behind. He grips the haft of his morning star in his left hand, and holds the harpoon in throwing position over his right shoulder.

Eventually, the path emerges from the swamp onto a white sand beach. From here you have a clear view of the rocky rise on the west side of the island. The beach is lined with towering palm trees, each around 50 feet high and crowned with a wide canopy of palms and brimming with coconuts. Shattered coconuts litter the beach beneath three of the trees.

Alwen, seeing an opportunity for a mid-mission snack, aims his bow at a cluster of coconuts in a tree before letting loose, hoping to drop a couple of ripe ones for the group. "Hard for us to keep going on an empty stomach, don't you all agree?" He asks them, before glancing at the rocky rise in the west. "Now, if I wanted to get a clear view of the whole island and figure out where some grindylows were keeping my friends, I'd go there."

"This island is not big. The rocks Alwen sees will be a good place to see the whole island."

He tries to move into the shade of the tree as much as possible.

As you recline on the beach, content to feast upon coconuts, there is a stirring in the tree above. From each of four trees, a coconut crab a little larger than a coconut itself scuttles down the palm and advances on the party.

Satinder joins Chumtooth as Bangkha steps forward and dispatches one of the crabs. The one that had not moved steps into Satinder's readied attack and Chumtooth easily dispatches the remaining one with a blow from his heel.

Combat is over. I sped things up a little in the interest of moving things along. These crabs were little more than a nuisance, anyway. But, as it happens, coconut crabs are a real thing and are pretty common in the South Pacific. Coconut crab

From here, the trail continues south towards an overgrown, but obviously once-cultivated field, and west, heading up the side of the hilly rise towards what appears to be a small fort.

Chumtooth scoops up one of the smashed crabs and proceeds to pull and eat the soft meat from inside its shell, as the party walks.

At bottom of the hill, he squints and puts a hand over his eyes as a shade.

"There is a big hut with a fence. It may be a place where the females are being kept."
