"Looks like these are two scrolls of divine magic, one to freeze a person in place, and one to cure deadly wounds".
He holds them out to anyone who is interested, and can use them.
It would be nice if everyone put their class in the profile heading, so I don't have to open the profiles to remind me of what everyone does.

The party treks back to the entrance to the goblin cave (wherein lay the entrance to the hobgoblin cave). All is quiet within.

All seems quiet within the goblin cave. The stillness in the air is unearthly. Even the breeze seems to have stopped here.

"Landau, you left the keys to the gnoll prisoner, right? I wonder if he's roaming free somewhere here." Quinrick says in hushed tone. He joins Gimble at the front of the group, moving silently as is only natural for him.

Unfortunately, your luck is not good. The goblins have replaced the guards that you slew earlier with a fresh set. In fact, you have barely moved into the cavern entrance before you are beset upon by guards! Four goblins come from the west passage, bearing scimitars and shortbows!

There is a crack of energy as Hess sends an eldritch blast towards one of the goblins, but the goblin dodges at the last minute and the attack dissipates harmlessly against the wall behind it. Gimble takes a step back and draws his shortsword as Kord moves forward and readies himself for an assault. The two lead goblins each attack Kord. One misses completely, while the other's attack is dodged by the agile dwarf! One of the goblins in the rear ranks moves forward and launches an arrow at Rurik, but the attack comes nowhere close to hitting.
The party is up!

Quinrick slips into the cavern after Rurik, sneaking in the dwarf's shadow. There, he looks for the perfect spot, and throws one of his daggers at the nearest goblin.

So... if the goblins didn't notice Quinrick, he would have advantage and sneak damage of 2d6. The sneak damage would be applied also to crit damage, if I understood correctly. Without sneak it's only 8 damage in total.

Laughing as Rurik joins the line, Kord strikes out with his warhammer as well.

Quinrick looses a dagger that flies true, striking the lead goblin in the face and dropping it dead in its tracks. Landau spears a goblin in the front ranks! Rurik slams down his hammer upon the goblin behind, splitting its skull! Hess blasts a goblin, severely wounding it, but the goblin remains in the fight. A dagger flies from Gimble's fingers but clatters harmlessly against the wall, but Kord's hammer does not miss, striking down the remaining goblin before it can react!
From further down the right corridor come the sounds of angry goblins, and more burst into the tunnel, coming from the left passage as well! The goblins scream a warning, "Bree-yark!" as they come. The lead goblin from the right crashes harmlessly against Rurik, his armor taking the brunt of the attack! Behind it come the others, with scimitars ready to meet the challenge! Those from the left attack with their bows, each taking a shot at Gimble and Landau, but neither attack comes even close! Those goblins drop their bows and ready their scimitars!

Sorry, my phone was acting up and I couldn't see the map for a bit.
Seeing the swarm of goblins coming his and Ruruik's way, Kord calls forth a sacred weapon to combat. Swinging in tandem with their new ally, he lashes out with his physical warhammer. "Hold fast cousin! Everyone else, watch our backs while we hold!"

Quinrick hurls another dagger at the onrushing horde but to no effect. Landau spits another goblin to the left before shouldering the ranged weapon. Rurik swings at the goblin nearest him but misses. Hess attempts to blast another goblin, but the creature dodge at the last second and the bolt dissipates harmlessly against the cavern wall. Gimble slips into the shadows as Kord calls forth a hammer composed of spiritual energy. He brings his own warhammer down on a goblin, sending it to oblivion even as the spiritual weapon injures another.
The goblins seem no less enthusiastic about defeating the invaders. The horde to the right advances, heedless of the danger. The two goblins in the forward rank bring their scimitars to bear, one managing a hit on Kord (Kord takes 4 points of damage) and the other cutting deeply into Rurik's midsection (Rurick takes 14 points of damage). Arrows fly from the back ranks, raining down upon the two bold dwarves. Each is hit by the missiles, Rurick taking an arrow to the shoulder (Rurik takes 6 points of damage) and Kord takes one to the torso (Kord takes 13 points of damage)!
Meanwhile, the remaining goblins to the left advance, one of them reaching Landau and slashing with its scimitar. Fortunately, the goblin's blow misses.

Quinrick moves to take down the goblin attacking Landau. Landau, left with no target, assumes a defensive stance. Rurik digs deeply into his reserves, empowering himself and striking back at the onrushing goblins. Two more foes fall beneath his brutal attacks! Hess flings another eldritch bolt in the direction of the goblins attacking Gimble, but the bolt misses, harmlessly impacting against the cavern wall. Gimble activates a spell, and spectral blades sweep around him, but both goblins avoid the attacks. Kord swings at another goblin but misses. His spiritual weapon, however, downs another of the goblins.
The two goblins attacking Gimble each take a swing, but in avoiding the attacks of the spectral swords, both goblins miss with their attacks. Two goblins attack Kord, though only one gets through. Still, the blow is a telling one and Kord grunts in pain. Kord takes 7 points of damage!

Trusting the double-dwarven frontline will have no trouble handling goblins on their side, Quinrick joins Gimble and Landau on the other side of the cavern. The halfling dashes into the fight, rolling between Landau's legs, and thrusts his rapier into the unsuspecting goblin.

Quinrick dashes up and rolls between Landau's legs, stabbing a goblin and skewering it right through the heart! Landau's rapier also meets with success and the remaining goblin on that side falls to his blade. Rurik smashes another of the goblins, leaving only two. Gimble, with no opponents remaining, holds his action. Hess blasts at another goblin, but again misses the moving target. Kord draws a breath and heals himself, readying for another attack. The spiritual weapon attacks one of the gobs, but misses.
The goblins suddenly seem to realize that they are without backup and no longer have the advantage. Both disengage and retreat back further into the lair.

Kord sends his spectral hammer as far and as fast as it will go into the tunnel after the fleeing goblins but it isn't fast enough to catch them. Grumbling about his spell, he begins trudging down the tunnel warry about walking into a trap.
The hammer only moves 20 ft a round. I dont think it can catch fleeing goblins. Fyi, I have 3 level 1 spell slots left.

Kord gives pursuit (and that actually does bring his SW into range, so go ahead and make the attack), followed closely by the others. As Kord rounds the corner, he is faced with a room to the north and a passage going south, then turning east. The goblins are attempting to flee through the room to a passage on the far side.
The 20-foot-by-30-foot chamber has a small table, two worn benches, and a large keg in the near corner: near the entrance is an open barrel full of spears ready for use.
