Kept meaning to post. Finally caught up.

So I...honestly completely forgot this game was running. I think I'll officially pull out of this one; between the multiple week(s) long delays in posting I kind of lost motivation for this one.

Sorry if I broke the encounter. I found out while GMing some time ago that putting all your baddie firepower into one basket is very risky. Usually it ends up not going well. Either you get a slaughter or you get swamped (generally action economy does it).

On the contrary. You did exactly what I anticipated you would do. :) I'll get a new move up tomorrow.

Just an FYI: My dad went into the hospital tonight with heart problems. I'm not allowed to go help since my mom is the only one allowed to be with him right now with Covid restrictions. But things may get weird for me over the next week or two unless he gets better. Regardless, all I'm saying is be patient on my responses here for the game. I want to post when I can, but I may be erratic at best unless things change/get better.

Thanks for the well-wishes guys! My father is doing better and stable, but has a large blood-clot in his lung. They are going to try and dissolve it, but his health has been failing for years now to a mysterious lung disease. Truthfully he needs a lung transplant, but right now with Covid...just not possible.

Having your parents get old and sick on you is rough. Both of mine are deceased now. My mother went from a sudden heart attack, so in a sense that was kind. My father died of cancer that took some months.

One thing I found out was nothing makes you feel quite as old as no longer having parents around.

Yeah, with my parents getting up in age, I get nervous when I see that they or my sister (who lives with them) are calling. I know that one day it will be THE call. I'm 54 and really feeling my age.

I am going to be out-of-contact from Thursday, Apr 1 to Monday, April 11. I'm taking my niece and nephew to Disneyworld for their first visit! Please be patient and I will update after my return. I'll try to get one more update in before I leave.

One of these days I’d like to go back with my wife.

Last time I was at Disney World was 1987. Of course I don't have kids, so there's not enough temptation to overcome the cost. I go to Vegas instead for my adult amusement park.

The wife and I don’t drink or gamble for various reasons so Vegas doesn’t have much to tempt us. :p

I have been to Disneyland twice. Once when I was 2 months old, and the second time was in the 80s...possibly around '87 actually?

I lived in Florida, but never had the chance to visit Disney World.

Vegas is a dream for me, but I plan on going well prepared if I ever get there.

I go to Vegas every year, but do not gamble. It's a great place for food and shows. One suggestion, don't stay on the Strip. It magnifies prices a whole lot. If you stay a bit off the strip it's much cheaper, and there's also lots of good eateries away as well.

This marked my 9th trip to WDW. My wife is a Disney fanatic and we go about once a year. We'll be going again in November with some friends instead of the family. Her excuse is that her eye doctor (whom she has annual appointments with; I know I've mentioned that she is mostly blind due to glaucoma) is in Tampa, and since we have to go to Florida anyway, and Tampa is so close to WDW... and I love my wife very much. If all she wants is an annual vacation, then I'll bite the bullet.

But the family paid for this trip, so we only had to budget our food and souvenirs. And I got to experience WDW through the eyes of my 8-year old nephew and 6-year old niece.

We extended our stay with my family by an extra day and I've spent all day driving. A new move will be posted tomorrow.

Personally I just can't do the really long drives anymore. I cap out at about 6-7 hours before my back goes into open rebellion.

I drove most of the way from Orlando, FL to Augusta, GA (about 12 hours with Spring Break traffic), then turned around two days later and drove from Augusta, GA to Ocean Springs, MS (about another 7 hours).

That would leave me a wreck.

I used to live at Travis AFB in the Florida Panhandle, and could make it home to Greenville TX in an ~11+1/2 hour straight drive. It was tough, but doable. I had a special route back then that was not heavily traveled.

Once upon a time, when I was younger and less broken I made it from Albuquerque to Chattanooga in a day 9over 1k miles). I could not even imagine doing that again.

Yes, well...it is what it is. Fortunately I'm very hard to kill completely with slow nano-regeneration. Even from scrap. But I don't think (and I fear) my death/dismemberment is not this guy's reason for doing this.

Definitely looks like MINO is handling this fine... so far. :p

I was just piping up to let you know I was still here and add a little background for MINO.

Sorry for not replying. I had surgery on Monday and thought I'd be out in just a few days, but complications afterwards kept me from getting home until yesterday.

If anyone is interested in another game, I am in a Pathfinder AP Ironfang Invasion game that needs a new player. We have three remaining dedicated players and I'm playing a Tiefling Kineticist in it.

Feel free to contact GM Spazmodeus if you want to apply. We are currently at 4th level, getting close to 5th I think. I'm not sure what book in the AP we are in yet, but its been really fun so far!

I'll maybe look into it. I'm down to minimal games.

Though admittedly the Pathfinder WotR computer game has become a major time sink.
