You cursed thing, feel the sting! shouts Hamailii as she swings at the creature again
Monringstar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 191d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
| GM Tektite |
Ygdnur gives a mighty swing of his hammer, but the creature evades the hammer. The dwarf then steps back to make room for Kuraishimo to join the fray.
Kuraishimo steps into the gap and opens a long gash down the creatures back.
Gwion delays, waiting for an opening.
Faldoc blindly swings his longsword and misses.
Bite Attack on Kuraishimo: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Bite Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Claw Attack on Hamaillii: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Claw Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Claw Attack on Faldoc: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Bite Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Bite Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
The creature begins striking out in a fury, attacking everyone nearby. It manages to bite Kuraishimo, it's teeth nearly opening up a wide gash, but the half-fiend avoids the majority of the damage. One of it claws manages to rake down Faldoc.
Anis tries to quell the creature with fear, but it does not react.
Hamaillii takes advantage of the creature's fury and brings her morningstar down, silencing the creature.

"Other than teeth and claws, I'm not sure."
Kuraishimo will use his infernal healing wand on himself before offering to use it on any others who might want it.

I´m not hurt but i can´t see! Where are you guys? And what sort of foul beast was that? Blind one with his gaze? Is this permanent? Savored Sting please let it go away!
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17

Yes, someone please help me. That fowl whateveritis not only has me blinded but wounded me as well. I do hope that this blindness is not permament as it would be hard to continue as a bowman if I cannot see.

Did anyone take more than 5 damage? Should I channel again?
That was perfect for me. Thanks.
Ygdnur Copperhand

"Hey everyone, I found something!" He motions for everyone to come over and take a look. "I can't tell what's in this potion vial, but I have a good idea what this is!" he says as he holds up the trade agreement. "I almost can't remember now, how many of these things are we looking for?"
Anis Aniland
|
"I think he asked for as many as we could recover. I doubt that even they have exact records of how many trade agreements were lost in this foolish venture."
If Hamailii can't identify the potion, Aniland will try.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
He will then continue to try to pick some mushrooms without touching them.

Alright, thank you for the healing and the time to regain my sight. However, we should be pressing onward. Where shall we head to next?
Hamailii D´Arquetai

Don´t tell me gnomes eat such mushrooms! Hamailii looks shocked at the gnome. Gathering herself, she adds
Let´s have a look what´s in the next room here.
Slowly moving forward taking 20 on perception to look for traps.
| GM Tektite |
Moving south into the adjoining room, Hamaillii finds no traps. The party sees three rounded alcoves in this chamber contain the rotting remains of scroll shelves, honeycombing from floor to ceiling. Scattered amid the compromised shelving are damaged scrolls, and a number of still-sealed scroll tubes. A glimmering trickle of water seeps down from the ceiling in the northwest corner of the room. About a dozen of the scroll tubes appear to be the agreements the party is looking for.
Ygdnur Copperhand
|
"Yes, swimmingly my friend!" Ygndur says with some sarcasm walking into the room. With his hammer held at the ready, he looks around the room to see if there was anything that they weren't "seeing".
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Hamailii D´Arquetai
|
Back where we just went was another corridor, but we can first take a look the other way.
When the others follow, Hamailii proceeds, carefully watching the floor, walls and ceiling for traps.
Take 20 for perception again for 33.

Don´t tell me gnomes eat such mushrooms! Hamailii looks shocked at the gnome.
"Who said anything about eating them? I plan to sell them. Aside from the trade agreements, they're the first thing I've seen so far in this hole that might be worth something to someone."
Kuraishimo
|
"Lets keep working on the side we started on rather than returning to the beginning"
Hamailii D´Arquetai
|
Ah probably you will even find a wizard or worse who will buy it. Hamailii replies to the gnome with roling eyes.
I´m fine with either direction. So let´s go back and look what is there. Remember, something must be here that tansformed the former Pathfinder we met outside.
| GM Tektite |
Your party travels back through the room where they encountered the blinding creature, out the hall, and through the room with the skelelton. Heading northwest you come to a crossroads of sorts. This crossroads of stairs has one dominant feature: a crumbled statue in the southeast corner, once the image of a proud warrior chiseled roughly in granite. The statue’s helmeted head now rests on the floor, its lifeless stone eyes gazing toward the south. On the helmet, a single Kelish word is carved in the stone. The wide stairway to the north leads to a passage that ends in a cave-in ten feet past the foot of the stairs. Also you noticed a fissure in the wall in the southwest corner. From the occasional wafts of fresh air, you deduce that it probably connects to the outside.
Kuraishimo

Kuraishimo will cast detect magic, looking over at the statue and helmet.
Hamailii D´Arquetai
|
Hamailii first watches the others, then takes a close look at the statue and the surroundings herself.
Take 20 on perception for 32 and detect magic.
Faldoc Tisbane
|
Well, my fine fellows, another choice needs to be made. Left or straight? Of course, we could stay here and stare at this statue all night.
Faldoc Tisbane
|
what am I seeing wrong? Space to the left, around the corner, looks like a 10 foot wide stairway while straight looks like a five foot wide stairway. Am I wrong?
Kuraishimo
|
Kurashimo will pick up the head and explain it's a summoning device.
"Can anyone speak Kelish, I think the word carved on it is probably the activation word."
Kuraishimo
|
"It should summon some sort of beastie to serve you for a few seconds."
