Aha, ok. The fact that it was a dead end is what I couldn't see very well from my phone. I guess we go straight, once we finish here.

Anis:
You think the word says Arise

Once the party finishes with the statue, you move north down the narrow stairs. there is an open door. Upon entering, you see this room has a wide corridor exiting it toward the west, and a door to the east. Barrels and boxes of supplies fill the cramped chamber. The corridor to the west is collapsed as well.

Before we move on
The gnome picks up the head, holds it aloft, and, in an impressive and commanding voice, intones his three best guesses as to the proper pronunciation of the Kelish word, as well as the word "Arise" in every language he knows. Should this fail, he will curse fluently in every language he knows.

After we move on
Aniland begins poking around in the supplies, prying off lids with his spear and smashing things open with his mace.

What's in the boxes and barrels? Anything salvageable?

The statue head remains silent.

Poking around the room, Anis find four vials of alchemist’s fire hidden in a bag of weevil-infested flour. The labels on the bottles—which contain the sort of spirits one might find in a mining village tavern—read something in Draconic.

The Exchange

Gnome | 10/10 HP | AC 15/13/13, CMD 11 | Init +4, Per +1 (low light) | F +2, R +2, W +3

Aniland knows Draconic. Did you just say that "the sort of spirits one might find in a mining village tavern" are made of the same stuff as alchemist’s fire, or is it merely the bottles?

Merely the bottles

The bottle read, Gurk's Fire Juice

Yes please. Taking 20 on perception :)

The party moves on to the door to the east. Hamailli finds it untrapped and unlocked. Opening the door, the party enters a large room. This large room was once two, but the wall between them has been partially torn down, and the broken door now serves as a makeshift altar. The candles and strange statues that decorate it all face the dark alcove beyond the broken wall. Four kobolds are kneeling at the makeshift altar, but stand and present their spears when the party enters.

The kobolds startle a little bit at being spoken to in their language. One of them speaks up. Yes, we know of such sword. The Fire Speaker carries it. it says motining toward the back of the room, toward the statue. The gnome again chants the mystic syllables you have heard him speak before. Casting bless. +1 to attacks for everyone.
