Yep. I'm about to leave for a wedding and tomorrow night Becca and I are heading up to Madison. I'm hoping to keep up via phone while I'm there for the games I'm playing in. I'm not even going to try GMing via phone, that's just too much of a pain.

Just a heads up. I will be leaving Sat. morning for a family vacation to Disney, returning on the following Sat.. I am going to try to take my laptop in order to update in the evenings, but so far, traveling with three kids looks like it is putting a premium on space. I can update from my mobile, but would be unable to see or edit maps.
We're close, but this complex is large. I'm trying to pare down the enocunters so we can finish soon.

No rush! I'm actually (unexpectedly) getting in a game of PFS while I'm in Bloomington today and then our Carrion Crown group is playing a full-day marathon tomorrow. But when I go back to LaPorte, PbP is my only PF outlet.

Heh. I'm headed to Bloomington right now, to pick up our nearly totaled, but now repaired car.

I just left my bed in my apartment (no food, oh no!) so that I could come back down here to defend my thesis. As long as I was making the trip, our Carrion Crown group wanted to play F2F for the last time in what might be a while (we'll switch to Roll20 soon), but Friday was the only time that worked. So today I'm just hanging out, but when someone else figured out I was in town they invited me and Becca along to a PFS game tonight.

Most important question: "On a scale of one to ten, one being the Pope and ten being Tim Vine, how many bear puns need be attempted (both in and out of character)?"

I get another rage power! Anything you guys (mostly Boris) want? I can't decide what would be most useful and I can't take the next of Celestial Totem yet.
| Emraeal Briskfury |
Ok, Emraeal is all updated and ready to go. Went with energy resistance since we know we're going to fight a dragon and having resistance against his energy type (even if it's only a little) should help us out, especially with the additional healing from lesser celestial totem.

HP, Fav clas: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
All leveled! Crossbows still suck, but I picked up Rapid Reload for full attacking, at least (since sniping has gotten me nowhere).

Were you npc'd for that beatdown, I would insist upon announcing it as a "double 'bear'-iot" and describe it akin to one of Zangeif's many memorable moves for maximum pun.

Just gotta boost attacks by 1 for bab, pick up Improved Precise Shot via "I'm Kind of a Ranger" talent, and pop up a few skills.

Does he need any restorations first? He might be exhausted after harassing the town this much.

And I have to say, pinning the dragon is a pretty epic way for this encounter to go. Hilarious!
We had two groups play through this in Bloomington when it came last year. If I recall each group had at least one death from this final fight because the dragon pulled high init and got its breath weapon off, then when the sole melee person in each group got up close it eviscerated them.

Also, I don't know how you guys feel about something else after this. Tears at Bitter Manor was the next module and is also set in Taldor.
Technically PC's start at L5 and go up to L8 at the end. We "could" continue on with the same PC's and I could increase the difficulty (advanced templates, ect...) This one gives out two chronicles (5-7 & 6-8), and I don't think it would quite as long as this one. (Though it is still the new 64 pg format and able to be run in campaign mode).
Up to you guys, I'm fine with whatever you all decide. I know with the length of this one, there were times when things slowed down, ect...(Geeze, this one has been going for eight months)

I'd love to do Tears. I'm fine with either continuing these characters or creating new. Might be easier for you if we're actually the level we're supposed to be (and don't have 20000+ gp swords to swing around).
| Garen Crownguard |
Tears is good for me. I'm also good wither either new PCs or these ones. Though the 20,000 gp sword thing isn't much of an issue since they're kind of bad. If we are going to stick with these PCs, I'd rather rebuild to a cleric or a paladin instead of a Warpriest.

I am all for new characters. Pbp isn't very condusive to sniping/stealth unless there's a low post-to-downtime ratio between the sneaker and the DM. Plus, I completely forgot to ever actually buy anything on Shozole, so he simply ended up hording his money to attract the local dragoness. But yeah; Slayer is more than acceptable; sniping with crossbows is still only great in flavor...
I'm cool for either direction and am willing to progress, but throw my hat in the "easier, new characters" bin.

That said, my only preliminary character ideas are "this fear-oriented Illusionist that was an awesome NPC in my S&S game" or "Groteus Cleric (possible healer.)" But I'll honestly just build to fill. I can't pass up being a Grotean in Cassomir, though.

We could always hold onto these characters (and the ones from Tears when we finish) and level them up for when if Wardens of the Reborn Forge is ever sanctioned.

Woo! Congrats on the upcoming fourth star! Join the club!
Now, that fifth one is turning out to be quite a bit harder than any. But I'm not too concerned about it. I'll have three specials under my belt after GenCon. Just seven more to go!
