Only twice? Lucky you!

Eydor seems lightly not at ease and relaxed while sitting down at he Inn. Too used to problems coming at least in pairs in the Twilight Citadel, he somehow still expects something to happen any moment now. He refuses the beer, being a non-drinker since he saw what could really go wrong when mixing alcohol and magic, but asks for another apple juice like Elery has.

Still a bit nervous, he tries to relax as best as he can, listening to the story and what else he might hear.

Harness refuses food and drink, needing naught of either.

Having lived only a brief "life" so far, and much of it concerned with mundane chores and labor, the warforged listens with rapt attention as Girnt starts the documentary.

Elery: When you get to the cathedral, you find that it has quickly become the gathering point for the town's wounded (as you expected it to be). Father Zantus is happy to have the help as the few trained in healing are little more than field medics, able to tie an effective bandage and little else. You see Aliver “Pillbug” Podiker (the local herbalist) moving about, administering vials of liquids to some patients under Father Zantus' direction.
You can make a heal check to use mundane healing, or a K(Religion) check to use your magical healing. Obviously your healing spells will work regardless of the roll, but it represents how effective they are and how good you are at determining the most dire of cases.

Your afternoon passes into evening before Amieko returns to her bar. Dirty and weary, she throws her sword onto the bar top before turning and noticing you all sitting at the table. Putting her back to the bar and her elbows on top of it, she addresses you lot. Got your drinks? Good to see Bethana is taking care of you. Well, if the cooks still around, we'll have dinner soon. If he's not... well.. we'll figure that out. Bethana! Rooms for each of them if they want them. And free drinks and food tonight. She turns towards the kitchen wearily, pausing before fulling exiting. Likely won't see you again tonight, so until tomorrow, try to stay out of trouble. She hefts her sword off the bar and leaves the room through a back door.

Does anyone else have anything they'd like to do or add before we move on to tomorrow?

Elery socializes with the others for a few hours before heading outside carrying her armour to give it a good sluicing off with create water spells - she offers to do the same for anyone elses gear, or indeed person should they wish it. Then she heads up to a room at The Rusty Dragon, hanging her armor out to dry with a towel beneath it.

In the morning she opens the window and says her prayers to Erastil, feeling the breeze on her cheeks and contemplating the wonders of nature, before heading down to the common room.

"Morning all. Sleep well? How do you think Master Foxglove plans to reward us?"

Fela comes down from her room, attempting to shake herself sober.

"Perhaps just one more drink to set me straight," she says, not intending it to be out loud.

"I agree, Tac, a bit more venom might be helpful," she says, as a tattoo of a viper turns scaly and then slowly protrudes from her skin, coiling itself around Fela's forearm.

Harness stomps to his appointed room, (oops sorry, wrong room, thank you, no, not a golem, yes a warforged, not it's quite alright, so sorry for the bother, no a candle won't be necessary), then looks around in somewhat quiet despair. What to do? He does not sleep, though he has tried. He tries again, sitting up, but no luck. Lying down, like he has seen others do seems to avail him naught. He tries the blankets, but they are no use. He sighs. No dreams for warforged...It will be a long night.

In the morning

Harness stomps back down the stairs, wincing as the stairs creak, protesting his bulk. He tries to step lighter, with little success. Seeing Fela, he smiles a greeting, his eyes widening as a snake seems to appear out of her arm. Quickly Harness unhitched his heavy flail.

"Fela! Look out! A serpent!" he cries out.

Eydor does nothing unusual. He finishes his meal, then gets to his room, cleans himself as best as he can with what he has, and rests somewhat uneasy seeing what happened during the day.

When he wakes up, and he quietly reads his spellbook sitting with the others, listening to the conversation but not participating much of it. He interrupts his studies for a moment when he sees the snake.

As you all enjoy your breakfast and the company of your new found friends, a new presence enters from upstairs. Alderan Foxglove comes down the stairs and is resplendent in a fine silk outfit. Spotting you all at the table together, he heads your direction, imperiously ordering breakfast from Bethana behind the bar without even looking in her direction. He makes space for himself at your table and looks disappointed after looking around.
Is she not with you? The one named Fela? Well, no matter, I guess. Hopefully she'll be along soon. In the meantime, I was hoping all of you would let me show you my appreciation for saving my life. For starters.... At this, he reaches into an inside pocket of his jacket and places a small purse on the table. When you get the chance to look inside, it contains 54 platinum. In addition, I was hoping that at least some of you would be interested in accompanying me on an expedition. The nearby Tick Wood is said to have wonderful boar hunting and I had planned on partaking before the unfortunate incident yesterday. But now that that is all done for, we can move on and see some of the sights. I would, of course, be more than happy to supply the mounts and spears needed. He looks around the table, his eyes plainly full of hope that someone will choose to accompany him despite his attempts to appear nonchalant about it.

Elery smiles, nonchalantly dumping the contents of the purse on the table and dividing he coin into six piles of nine, and pockets her own.

"Fela is out hunting rats for her snake I think. Thank you for the coin, it is always appreciated. It would be rude to refuse such a well intentioned offer, so count me in. Someone should be on hand to heal in case of emergency in any case."

"A hunter at heart, I would enjoy such a trek through the wood, but not at the moment, unfortunately. With the recent goblin attack, there will be a lot of work repairing and scouting for other possible attacks," Girnt says, reminding himself that work comes first. "Maybe in a day or two after things have settled."

Fela walks back in to the Rusty Dragon seeing the group of recent heroes of the town gathered around a table along with the creepy gentleman from yesterday. Great...Let's see. Who appears the most harmless? Ah yes...

Fela walks up to the group, sinking the snake back into ink, and wraps her arms around Eydor, giving him an obvious wink, whispering to him.
"Help a girl out and play along, huh?"

Harness looks at Snyk. Then at the others. The warforged blinks, an action that seems to take some exertion, and even more thought.

"I have not the heart for hunting. Truly I do not. But I thank you for your reward Mister Foxglove."

Harness carefully takes two piles of nine coins and hands them without ceremony to Snyk.

You notice a flash of absolute rage cross his features for just the briefest of seconds before his usual smile takes it place.

Well, it seems you are not interested. Please enjoy the coin and my appreciation. If you're ever in Magnimar, feel free to look me up. With that, and totally ignoring Elery's acceptance to go hunting, he stands and quickly walks out of the inn, straightening his jacket and hair as he goes.

A few seconds later, Bethana comes from kitchen with a plate of breakfast. With a huff, she sets the plate down on the table. Where did he go? Is he coming back for this?

He then keeps looking at his spellbook and studying trying not to look too nervous about the situation, but he doesn't seem to be used at social gatherings, and he looks even less used to have a woman like Fela that close.

Girnt frowns as he sees Foxglove's sudden rage. Seems this man was quite temperamental. The Sheriff's words come back to him from last night. It might be best to keep an eye on him after all.

After the man leaves, Girnt addresses Snyk's question. "The Sheriff will probably be with the mayor about now discussing repairs and such."

Alderan makes no apparent reaction to Elery as she calls after him; as soon as he is out the door, before it can even swing shut behind him, another person enters. Tall and sturdy, a half-orc in the uniform of the town guard strides in, looking over his shoulder, presumably at Alderan. Turning, he spots you at the table and makes his way to you.

There are several options for shopping in Sandpoint. Armorers, blacksmiths, potions, magic, general supplies, several other mundane sorts of shops. What are you folks looking for?

@Eydor, you have two different shops to choose from.
1) The Pillbug's Pantry has various herbs hanging in the windows, and inside are potions, empty vials, elixirs, and liquids of all sorts.
2) Bottled Solutions is more "mystical" and is full of potions and alchemical items (ie alchemist fire, thunder stones, etc), as well as a few wands and scrolls.
Which ever one you go to, you will only have to pay 45 gp for it. This goes for everyone for anything that the town sells. 10% off of the list price. And most things are available that are mundane or alchemical adventuring gear. Just let me know where you're going as there are things that may trigger based on what kind of shopping you do and where you do it.

@Fela: The crowd is very excited to have you around. Many of the people start showing off the few tattoos they already have, asking if you can add to them or copy them somewhere else on their body. They all promise to visit once you set up shop, taking fliers, and suggest Madame Mvashti’s House (a local fortune teller) as a potential place to set up as she has a big house with only her in it.

@Eydor: The operator of Bottled Solutions is a half-elf named Nisk Tander. He touts his wares very highly, exclaiming how many more heroics you'll be able to accomplish with his merchandise. He offers you an additional 5% off if you tell people that you're a patron of his business.

Eydor:
Nisk hates anyone examining his wares to closely, so you won't get a check right away. And keep in mind that Eydor wouldn't know what I'm about to tell you. And anyone else reading this: NO METAGAMING! Anything purchased from this shop has a 5% chance of not working as intended. Please mark this and roll when you use it. If the roll is at 5 or under, I will tell you what happens.

@Snyk: There is a grocer's hall for foodstuffs; but most of your adventuring gear would be found in the general store, a large building full of shelves and run by a broad, red-haired man named Ven Vinder. Snyk, you find everything on your list except for the fine cheeses. He just looks at you strange if you ask about them and points you towards some standard cheddar.
As for wondrous items, there may be some in town, but not here. If you want to try and find some, I'll let you have done so before the meeting below happens.

You both also notice that a younger woman with bright red hair is moving around the store, restocking shelves and cleaning dust. She seems excited to see new customers, then disappointed.

Since no one else has posted, I'm guessing that no one else has any shopping to do. So, we will move along.

After an hour has passed, more or less, you all meet up at the Town Hall. Sheriff Hemlock, Mayor Kendra Deverin, Ameiko Kaijitsu, and Father Zantus all stand when you enter and the mayor points towards some extra seats and sits again. Welcome, she says, sighing heavily. I'm going to start by saying Thank You. And continue by saying we are hoping for more. This attack represents an unparalleled amount of co-operation from the goblin tribes. We've sent our local expert to do some scouting, but it'll be a few days before she returns. Until then, we have another issue we'd like you to investigate. Two actually. Sheriff.

As she gestures to Sheriff Hemlock, he clears his throat and takes over. The goblins got past our walls and guards, and we'd love to know how they did that. So we sent every available guardsmen and volunteer to scour the town to try and find the gap. What they found was that someone had been active in the town's graveyard. Our forces are stretched thin, and exhausted. We were hoping that you'd look into it for us. Girnt, Elery, you've been a big help around town. You're neighbors need your help. I'll be going to Magnimar soon in order to request additional forces from them. I'll be leaving Lt. Sphen in charge until I get back.

Father Zantus chimes in at this point. If you're willing to help, I'll guide you to the issue we found.

And they'll be free room and board for you lot regarless, Ameiko says.
