I'm sorry. I've been sick the past day, entirely from stress of the RL con I'm helping this weekend, the PbP Gameday organization and some stuff that is coming down directly on the wire, a puzzle event this weekend that I am essentially required to attend, some drama at home, and a depression flare-up. I can barely eat. I really hate to stall the game at the present moment, but I need a couple days to get past this before I can get back in the frame of mind of posting. Sorry about this, but I want to give real answers to your questions, not the half-assed answers that my current state would give you.

I'm sorry I'm a complete mess right now. Turns out running a 150+ table con is stressful.

Incidentally, Koraq does charge for waiting fees, stall tax, and a surprisingly legal interest rate on the out-of-Absalom service dues. This'll cost you some extra gold there :P

I think I may know how you feel, but mine was from about 4 hours of constant martial arts lessons. Two days later and my muscles are still aching and I have class again tonight :/

I'm sorry guys, but now my tablet is having trouble as well, which is making it really hard to just do work in general. I'm probably spending half my time on my electronics just getting them to work, and what time I do have for pbp I need to spend on the Gameday first. I set myself up with backups in case things failed, and now everything has failed. This is ridiculous.

As soon as I am back to being able to post again, I will let you know. This is just been the most f~&*ing terrible week and if I push too hard on this my depression is going to spike again.

I'm sorry. My hope is that this is over in a week, but right now I'm at the mercy of USPS, and they have no f~**ing clue how long it's going to take.

I concur. A (gaming) Group only have to go foward no matter how slow it is.

Hey guys, I wanted to apologize about the last 2 weeks, but I need to do it in a spoiler. Please treat this the same as Ralph's spoiler earlier.

This past June, I started transitioning gender. While most things take time to develop, there's been definite mood swings because it's basically second puberty. Most of the time, I've been able to handle them normally - after all, I had a decently strong depression before I started and transition helped lighten it. However the past two weeks with panic at getting enough hours at my part-time job to cover student loans and the broken computer plus some heavy mood swings meant I spent a lot of nights just crying in a pillow instead of spending that time focused on this game. And that's not to mention the stress of making sure 7-00 and the rest of the PbP Gameday runs on time.

My head is above water now. I'm feeling better. But I haven't been that low in a little while, and I wasn't prepared. But hopefully, back to business now.

Very sad to hear that you were going through a rough time and happy to hear that you are feeling better now. Can't say I understand much about gender-transitioning, so I'm not sure what to say. Didn't even know it was a thing until recently. Is it something you're comfortable talking about? Anyway, hope the financial situation improves too. I didn't mind taking it slow since running a 7-00 table in addition to juggling work and family and social stuff keeps me quite busy, but I'm ready to get back into full swing too.

Scry/scout-and-die is a thing of beauty.

Ralph is the highest level wizard I've played since RotRL. How I have missed the POWER. :sunglasses:

Yeah - one of the things I like about Eyes is that there is the occasional opportunity for scry/die or its variations. Not a ton, but I definitely encourage players to use high level tactics for high level encounters. No reason to let the high level gorilla cleric put anti-life shell up.

Thanks guys. I'm slowly getting more and more able to talk about it. Unfortunately, I probably only have a couple months before I need to be out at least at the school where I work, if nothing else because I'm going to need to wear a bra all the time.

Oh and trust me, I completely understand being booked by 7-00. Overseeing the second half is a little less work, but it coincided with people starting to report scenarios so new things for me to do.

Well... I apologize. I haven't frozen up in sheer terror like that ever before. I was like barely able to plan my classes this week, sometimes coming up with lessons minutes before the class started.

But I seemed to have recovered as of now. I have a plan to do legal paperwork on a _much_ faster timeline than I planned on in order to make sure that it's still possible - and that's seems to have helped calm me. Time to get back into the main world.

There a little error. Gaétan have +10 initiative now. He had retrained his weapon specialisation to an advance with the initiative bonus an additionnal +4.

I apologize for being a little absent. I'm coming up on the end of the semester and exams are about to be in full swing. I think my calculus class was secretly switched to ancient Aramaic and nobody but me noticed. I'm trying to stay kept up but I may be spotty until exams are done. If I'm holding something up, Koraq knows me in real life and can message me on facebook to get things moving again. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

As for Kol behavior, i could create an explication. He was going to suicide himself. He had no hope of saving them. He had a cause and had wish to finish with this life.

I would have imagine him a little drunk because cayden and sadness in his eye.

A man who is losing everything he care in life and who is not able to do anything.

Sure; although I think the issue is this is finals week (or just finished), so hopefully he should be good now.
