Pretty good after a few slow spots. We just murdered our first eldritch abomination with a fine mix of bullets, ghost-swords, and a very determined chokehold.

I've thought long and hard about this, and I absolutely hate to do it, but I'm going to have to drop out. I simply don't have enough time to dedicate to PbP games anymore.

This game has potential, and I love the idea of it. Liliya was a blast to create and brainstorm. Character concepts are one of my favorite things to do. I hope that you guys continue on, perhaps recruiting replacements or combine the two groups in some way.

I apologize for this, especially so early in the game. Good luck in all your future ventures.

Alright. I'm not sure what to do at this point, regarding the missing people. Recruitment may be the best option.

As far as in-game goes, I had planned on making a quick stop back at the barracks to let the others know what we're doing, but now there's only one other and she's not at the barracks. Suppose I should do that anyway just to leave a message.

No, sorry, I'd like to have you all start at the same level and level up together. And generally, payment will be scarce. You will unlock better requisitions in later missions, but magic items beyond consumables will be extremely rare.

Shrike, L, Sam and Pierce, I forgot to add that you can take, for free, Native-level knowledge of one of the Languages of Magic:

-Irish Gaelic. It is used for some folkloristic rituals tied to spirits and fey.
-Sanskrit. As expected from a language tied to Hinduism, it is uniquely suited to transmutation rituals.
-Hebrew. Hebrew rituals deal with crafting (think the Golem) as well as illusions. Mina starts knowing it.
-Sumerian. A dead language to deal with dead things. Excellent for necromancy. Liliya starts knowing it.
-Latin. When you need to fight a demon, Latin is your choice. Tomasz starts knowing it.

These may help you if you find strange artifacts or old texts of magic.
If you have other ideas for these languages, feel free to suggest!

While it doesn't really make much sense for a girl of Japanese descent to know Gaelic, the Fey bloodline is all about enchantment spells, and that's kinda what Mesmerists do.
