.....so I just realized that the entire duration of the chasing-invisible-dude down, I was sitting on my OWN scroll of Dimensional Anchor that I'd bought at the same time as the Pathfinder's Pouch.

Suffice to say I am/was an enormous idiot, hahaha, good lord. I could have made that entire sequence a LOT simpler if I'd remembered I'd bought that. I owe my party an apology in that regard, and also Lareg, since no minor rules mistake or lack of clarity on your part could possibly come close to my idiocy there!

Oh well: it does Mahdi good, in-character, to remember he's a giant moron too. And probably it does me similar good. ;)

Heads up, I'm in Vegas tomorrow through Monday. I'm taking my netbook, I hope to have a connection to post from there. But just in case...

Sorry, the boards went down last night just as I was trying to get to this and some other games. Working on a post now.

Going to post in game in a bit, but as a heads-up, I'm going to be at DundraCon Friday through Monday (as is Otah, because he's my roommate!!).

I'll have Internet, but I'll also be playing or GMing roughly 12 hours of PFS a day, so while I will try and check in after my games, please feel free to bot me during that interval rather than letting me hold up the action.

No worries. Unless there are other 'questions' for Rayhan we'll be transitioning into the PCs get to wander about and do their own thing bit (i.e. spend millions on invisible clothing for Pent and a scratching post that is 'for Yeen,' but also really for Pent).

GM Lareg, are there any shopping restrictions? Any values or whatnot? Ami has money to burn and a cat to bedeck in tuna and magics.

One order of business so that I can keep track of everyone's actions in the days to come in game. Please address each of the following questions using the heading "Day #". 1)Where are you sleeping? (toss your token in a room) 2) Are you posting guards? (who? where?) 3) Are you alone or do you spend time with other PCs or NPCs? (confirm Mahdi's room suggestions.) 4) Are you going to take advantage of the baths in the villa to relax? 5) Do you make a habit of raiding the food stores for midnight snacks? Do you have trouble sleeping or early risers?

Posting here for now, will move to IC come morning as I see how things go with the gnome.

#1) Sleeping on the couch, cuddled with Yeen.
#2) I assume we're doing regular watches - and Ami will insist on it while the scroll remains in danger. Ami will let Aldebert decide where/who.
#3) Uh...Ami isn't too social save with his brother and Mahdi. He's trying to warm up to the gnome and dwarf, but his trust issues remain.
#4) No. Yeen bathes enough for both of them.
#5) Ami won't raid, Yeen probably won't raid. We'll have to see how the hunting is nearby town. No trouble with early risers.

Anything goes purchase wise in the fine city. I don't have documentation for the city beyond what the AP provides, but if you can afford it I'm quite sure it's available.

The series of questions (1-5) will be asked for each day until Rayhan finishes his research (or gives up). Feel free to copy and paste and change what you need, but do make note of which day is which in case folks post at different paces so I can keep track of who is where doing what when. Thank you.

@Ami Need some help here. I get that Ami told the priest everything, but can you fill the GM in? What details did you get in running book 1 of the AP before I took over. I'm reviewing the details, but just because the book says specifics, doesn't mean that's what Ami knows.

I thought there was mention of splitting the cost of the BOL scroll but now I'm possibly blind and not seeing it. Mahdi's fairly low on gold right now after the scrolls he got, I think under 100 (will exact math it later), but I'd be happy to throw what I can towards the BOL scroll, or take it out of my cut of whatever the profit is from loot sell.

I see a big number of posts over the weekend. I couldn't find the time to check in with all the schoolwork and commuting I crammed into the weekend.

Sorry guys, I meant to post yesterday but some family members arrived, and some family members went to the airport, and things were thing-y, and then I took a nap that lasted all night, oopsie. *goes to catch up on things now*

It's too late now, but if the tethering doesn't work, I use Karma Go (link). The link is my referral so you (and I) get $10 off.

I still have most of my data 'cause I don't stream movies or the like when I travel and text doesn't take up much bandwidth (there are also ways to get more data free). The data doesn't expire, there's no monthly or annual fee - I just use it when I'm traveling and it works great - better even then the hotel wireless when we were in Chicago. It's basically a cellular wireless hub. Easier and way cheaper than my Verizon phone too.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've seen the Karma Go before. I have a phone from Republic Wireless so I only activate a data plan when traveling. The tethering is a new feature recently added so I'm excited to give it a try. The Amtrak may even have wi-fi, which for a 10 hour trip would be nice.

As an IT person who supports faculty and a lot of student work, the CTN mission is neat. I see many users even here in outskirts of Sacramento who tell me they haven't used a PC before, or very little before arriving at the college. CTN seems to go much beyond that into empowering it's constituents... very cool.

Apologies for the lack of posts the last few days; it's been a crazy week and today was no less crazy-- I GMd 8 hours of PFS whilst being mildly sick with food poisoning, because apparently I am a masochist. I would tag now but I am literally falling asleep as I type and can't properly parse the thread at this moment; I'll try to post tomorrow but either way Mahdi is trying to stick with the others, etc.
