No worries!
GM Omelas
No problem, Sorkesh. Thanks for letting us know.
Game related question, though: why is Sorkesh exhausted?
GM Omelas
Ah, my apologies. It was supposed to be only flavour text, nothing of mechanical note. I tend to explicitly declare that sort of thing in ooc at the end of the post, though, so if you don't see anything like that feel free to assume nothing that could change the outcome of an action happened to your PC.
Also, apologies for skipping yesterday's post. I had no internet access and no way of letting you guys know. Will be putting something up shortly.
Theshen
That temporary hit point turned out to be helpful!
I imagine all will be explained in character during or after the current encounter!
GM Omelas
Though it's a bit annoying to wrap everything in spoilers, I sort of like it that one part has no idea what's happening with the other. For all you know, the other group is having a dance off with Sorkesh's bronze dragon.
GM Omelas
It's a copper dragon, honest!
Bad GM! Bad GM! Joke still stands, though. Also, there might be a dance off in the future, given how copper dragons are supposed to be pranksters.
Are Asmani, Sorkesh and Badhru (still incapacitated, I reckon) the only party members [u]not[/u] with Theshen?
Yeap. Will give Asmani a few more hours to reply to you and/or fight with Nenet. Feel free to take any action in the meanwhile.

Guys, who's holding the wand you found on the cave with the giant scorpion? I'm assuming it's Rawiya, as she is the one who identified it, but want to be sure before my next post.

That's probably true.
I don't see that anyone picked up things or gave them to anyone, but Rawiya certainly picked up the wand and examined it.
We need to do a better job of accounting for things we find in the future, I think.
For now, let's just say that Rawiya scooped up everything.
Since I checked my equipment list before I answered the gnome, I probably would have declared the stuff to him. I certainly wasn't trying to hide something.
Here's what we have
several loose coins (100GP)
various small brown gemstones (300GP total)a 6-inch stick of wood so dark it seems to almost eat the light that shines on it. Attempts at detecting magic show the last item emanates an aura of illusion
In all honesty, I would have handed the coins and gems over to Nenet for safekeeping, and would have asked if anyone else could make better use of the wand than I could.
But at this point, let's just say that Nenet has the coins and gems, Rawiya has the wand, and she would have described it to the gnome as "an old wand with no marks or carvings. I don't think it's a relic of anything"
Theshen
Yes, we should keep better track of such things. Magic items are items of note after all.

No problem, thanks for the reply. I will treat it as if Rawiya had presented the wand, then. But, for the future, yes, I believe it would be good to have an idea of who's holding more unusual and magic items so we know who can access them in situations where you need things in a hurry (combat, for instance).
Also, heads up: my idea is to remove Nenet from the action and leave you to your own devices, so I'd recommend not relying on her for much from now on. She will still be around and be able to lend occasional help, but will be busy with her own assignments.
Theshen
That sounds fair, on all counts.
Theshen
And this is where not having ranks in all knowledges comes to bite a knowledge-inclined character. ;)
One to work on next level for sure!

Theshen, just an FYI: you can roll for untrained knowledge skills when you are in a good enough library. Feel free to retcon things on your next post if you roll higher than 12.
Equipment (Library) If you have access to an extensive library that covers a specific skill, this limit is removed. The time to make checks using a library, however, increases to 1d4 hours. Particularly complete libraries might even grant a bonus on Knowledge checks in the fields that they cover.

Ah! Will post again.
GM Omelas
Everyone, I'm soon boarding my plane back home. I will probably post again tomorrow around 20:30 CEST, if there are no delays and I'm not completely destroyed from the journey.
Also, Theshen, amazing roll on that post ;)
Theshen
Amazing indeed! ;)
And have a safe flight!
GM Omelas
Your GM is back from the dead, only a little the worse for wear. Will post shortly.
GM Omelas
Sorry about the long post, but I wanted to wrap up some of the loose ends, namely Badhru's absence and Sorkesh's integration in the main task at hand.
Since Badhru leave seems to very prolonged, I'll just leave him parked at the White Uraeus for an indefinite amount of time. If Badhru's player comes back, the PC will finally recover from his disease, otherwise he'll pass the rest of his days being pampered at the spa.
Also, to avoid misunderstandings, I'll always post times in the 24-hour format.
Theshen
Welcome back!
I'm also fine with the format. As for Badhru, it's a reasonable course of action.
Rawiya Altaw'am
Sorkesh: just a heads up.
Your posts have some BBCode that doesn't work on these boards.
Every time you post using 'underline' it shows up as the code, not as the word being underlined.
I suspect you're running a browser extension that converts that on your device, but those of us who aren't using that extension see bare code.
You don't do it often enough that it's a problem, but I thought you might want to know
Sorkesh
Rawiya: thanks for that! Nobody else mentioned that before.
I just assumed that when it worked on the preview at my end, it would show up right and proper on everyone else's.
So much for that idea!
I started using that because the [bigger] tags haven't show up properly on my end since the Paizo site was upgraded.

Underline BBCode Doesn't Work On Mobile
GM Omelas
People, has any decision been made regarding where you want to go next? Rawiya suggested going back to the inn, but no one seems to have reacted on that.
In case you do want to continue the discussion at the inn, you may assume you have reached it without any issues.
Theshen
Enjoy!
Just noting that I am unlikely to be able to post this weekend.
GM Omelas
@Sorkesh: almost there, eh? enjoy =)
@Theshen: no problem, thanks for the heads up!
Sorkesh
Apologies for my absence, all. But I tried to do something a little too clever on my computer and somehow managed to mess up the 'grub2' system, which prevented it from booting up.
Just a bit of a delay in things. I keep my data backed up good and proper.
I'm back in business now, after reinstalling my operating system and getting things back to normal.
Well, normal for me, anyway... :D
Asmani Khonsu
Did my Sense Motive roll turn anything up? My questions were deliberate in that I wanted to see if she was lying or not.
GM Omelas
Apologies, Asmani, I forgot to address that roll. Will post a reply to that shortly.
Theshen
@Sorkesh: Good stuff on restoration of free-flowing electrons.
Sorkesh
@ Theshen: thanks. Back in the distant mists of time I had three hard drive crashes in a row, so now I always make sure I've got at least to back-ups of my data on hand.
Thankfully, that was before digital cameras and stuff, so as annoying as it was, I didn't lose anywhere near as much data as I have now.
Asmani Khonsu
Apologies, meant to post that I'm traveling through Sunday night, so please excuse the radio silence. Please bot me as needed!
GM Omelas
Guys, the ball is on your court regarding what you do next: go back to the alley, move on to another task, retire to spend the rest of your lives drinking tea, eating biscuits and gossiping with the old ladies, etc. I'll move the action forward once that is clear.
Just as a clarifier, around 30-45 minutes have passed since leaving the alley and the thugs.
@Asmani: no problem, thanks for the heads up.
Rawiya Altaw'am
Does *anyone* have a Wisdom bonus above zero, or any ranks in Survival? I don't think we're able to follow tracks at this point.
Theshen
Not I. We might get lucky with a roll.
