Exhausted, Theshen and Shu-kri return to the inn, but not before being approached by one of the Torch's bodyguards. Lilly the half-orc collects the information and items before relieving the two adventurers from their last task, whispering something about a change of plans. She assures them the Sage will soon receive the information he seeks.
Once at the inn, they are met by a message from Nenet in which the sage's apprentice explained she had been requested to aid with arcane matters at the library and would not return for the night. After a simple but hearty dinner prepared by the inkeeper, the healer and the scholar retire to their quarters. With the taste of molokhiya once again helping them to drift into a deep sleep, they barely notice a thick black rain that falls upon the city during the whole night.
