Duncan sneaks towards the lone guard. When he gets close enough he will attack the Orc.

Yes, and static damage mods are not multiplied on a crit only base weapon damage. Crits aren't nearly as awesome in 5E, but that is a good thing. Much less rocket tag.

Duncan creeps up and takes the Orc unawares Adv: 1d20 ⇒ 13

His two attacks combine to drop the orc either dead or unconscious depending on how he angles his blows.

Duncan hears sounds from within the cave, someone or something BIG is bellowing about food.

Dropping the orc (it is dead), Duncan signals the others to move up.

With orcs? It could be anything. Lets scout for the Orc camp rather than engage the thing in the cave. We could be trapped between orcs on one side and something mean and nasty on the other side if we head in that cave now. Orcs on the outside first.

Ah..yes, so I have..lol. Well I am here (usually!) for you. Lets hope there is not too much healing needed after this battle!

Duncan creeps into the cavern and there is a fire going, he spots several orcs around the fire and a large humanoid he recognizes as an Ogre. The Ogre is complaining about being hungry.

The cave is lit with the fire, but not the righthand passage which disappears into blackness.

Morgran looks a might bit hesitant but says nothing when Duncan return and looks to him with a shrug indicating the darken passageway ahead. With a nod he is off trying his best to quiet his armor as he investigates.

Lyle yelps as he realizes the extent of the cave and the seriousness of the fight. He quickly starts chanting a lullabye.

"Hush little orcies don't say a word... Lyle's thinks you're all just a bunch of turds..."

Casting sleep, targeting orc 2. 22 hp of baddies in a 20' radius fall asleep, lowest to highest hit points.

The Orcs in the darkened cave grunt to themselves and spend this round figuring out there is a problem.
Andrei strikes down the Orc Boss in one blow! ( the other orcs have disadv vs Andrei for one round)
Morgran heals Andrei for 10.
Duncan attacks the Orc around the cave entrance, and even with cover strikes him for 7
Ogre clumps forward (and oddly enough doesn't have reach in 5e) Get outta my way stupids orcs the ogre hurls a spikelike javelin at Andrei 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 hitting Andrei for 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 1) + 4 = 7

Hearing the commotion coming from the foom as the sleeping orcs prepare themselves Morgran mutters an additional prayer. "Torag guide us in our time of need."

cast bless on Andrei, Duncan, and himself since they are effectively the front line(+1d4 attack roll/saving throw/1 minute)

Andrei wheels his sword around and attempts to kill the orc in front of him.

"You perfidious blowhard! You can't hit the broad side of a barn!"

He then quickly chants a spell, healing Andrei.

Also using cutting words - Ogre has a -1d6 to his next attack.
