Constantin starts orating, inspiring his allies to greatness.

Krudenk simply saunters in, and turns one of the goblins into so much chuck beef...

Mathos yells at the goblins about his suit.

Braggett rides forward, and slices at a goblin, delivering a nasty gash. This allows his trusty mount to deliver a punishing bite, dropping the offending goblin.

The remaining goblins swarm forward...

...whilst the others descend upon their hated foe, slicing at Sir Kibble. Fortunately, they are relatively ineffective.

Searching the room reveals a distressingly large amount of rubbish which only Goblins could consider treasure, as well a particularly foul smelling cheese (stashed in one of the beds), and the whole arm from another construct (on reflection, probably Clanky's missing arm), which is actually surprisingly balanced when swung!

My vote's for the smaller room first.

The center room quite likely holds the heart
of these fool goblins dwelling in this hall.
Before we strike, and scare this noxious swarm,
let us ensure no answer when they call.

Moving on to the smaller room...

The door to this room is locked, but the lock is quite poorly made (probably by Goblins, or scavenged from a rubbish heap), and with a bit of effort on Krudenk's part, it is possible to force the door.

Rows of wooden racks on the walls of this room hold a ramshackle collection of rusty blades, scraps of armor, and warped arrows.

Six Small dogslicers and six Small horsechoppers are piled haphazardly around the room. The other items are unusable and worthless.

"Sir, no wizard is powerful enough to conjure up a paragon of knighthood as impressive as I. I assure you that this is no trick!" Sir Braggett says confidently before adding "While I prefer to rescue damsels from tall towers, I'm sure we could make an exception and escort you to safety instead."

Sovereign Court

The voice seems to be quite impressed by Braggett's words.

"Nay, lad; this is me home. I have fought hard to keep it. I cannae abandon it so easily. That said, if ye promise to deal with the wizard, I can keep the area up here safe for ye and yers; I might e'en have a magic ring for ye! By the by, what happened to the denizens downstairs?"

This is part of the down-side to playing this in a non-campaign mode - The Emerald Spire has lots of 'quests' that you can acquire, which are spread across multiple levels of the dungeon; normally, the 'reward' would not be acquired until you complete the quest, but that is not an option, here...

[B ] Did we see a wizard? [/B] Mathos whispers to his companions.

@Mathos: No you did not. See my previous post ;-)

The Wizard is (I think) down on about the 6th level of the dungeon...

"The foul creatures downstairs have been dispatched. We can seek out this wizard as you ask but we will require usage of the ring to defeat him."

Sovereign Court

The voice sounds unsure.

"How will ye use a ring that stops ye bein' hurt when ye fall, to defeat the wizard? If it was that easy, I would have done it meself..."

You then here a loud sigh.

"Still, it might work out... If he ends up catchin' ye, though, we ne'er had this conversation..."

The arrow is withdrawn from the slit, and a worn silver band, engraved with representations of birds in flight, is pushed through by a bulky gloved hand, before the slit is slammed shut.

...and that's a wrap!

I should be able to have chronicles uploaded for you soon :-)
