Looking at the PDF of your character sheet, I see the masterwork backpack. If you get a chance, could you update that on your Paizo sheet? It's easier for me to verify character information if it's all in the alias. Also, do you have an inventory tracking sheet?
Outside of the vanity you mentioned, I haven't been able to find a porter hireling in an official paizo publication, so you may be out of luck there.

I think you want a mule.

Sorry, I missed updating the backpack. Yes, I have an inventory sheet and have added the URL to it on my profile next to the PDF URL.
The inventory sheet is a copy of the one Aurelia posted very early on. However, I've added a tab to keep track of charges. On the other hand, I have not been paying enough attention. I think the charges are correct, but I'll happily correct any errors.

By the way, that fight where Halkale almost burned to death, I had nearly the same experience when I played it. I was a stupid dwarf cleric in a group of all squishies.. he walked in first and got torched. They dragged my body out with a rope and the druid brought me back from the negatives (cannot remember how far). Fun :)

I was dead serious. Mules are awesome and they are allowed in PFS. You can even classify them as non-combat pets so they won't be part of combat.

2 PP for a CLW wand for me, please. Also 45 gp (I *think* though I will double-check later) for a Cold Iron Spiked Gauntlet and a Silvered Spiked Gauntlet, and 30 gp for a Cold Iron Lucerne Hammer. I think that puts me over a few pounds on weight, so I believe I'll pickup a non-combat mule for 8gp to carry my bedroll and some other items. I'll figure out the specifics when I'm not posting from a tablet.

What the... This hasn't been updating for me at all. Nice job, forums...
I'm really crook right now, but I'll try to get my stuff sorted out and check in soon.

No purchases for me

Grand Lodge?

Sorry, GM. I've been sick as a dog for four weeks now, and the fatigue is getting to me.

I'm here, just trying to think of a response. Because oh man, this is a tricky situation. o_O

Is it that tricky? No, we came here for the item and that is what we intend to take.

LOL. You can pretend to be one of those 1-800 customer service operators, "I'm sorry. I'd love to help you, but I'm not authorized to do that."

Here in a couple days I'll be on vacation for a week. I'm thinking I might still try to check in at least every other day, but if you don't hear from me for more than a day go ahead and bot me as needed.

![]() |

Mel, "Aspis calling!" made me snort coffee out of my nose. I used to be an Avon lady, and yes, I did knock on doors with "Avon calling!" Was that intentional? :P

![]() |

Woot! Yes, that was intentional and it had better results than I could have ever hoped for.

I hope you're happy. That coffee-snorting hurt like hell. :p

This is how I imagine Mel trying to tell the party about the creature.
It is a YouTube video with a clip from an old Abbot & Costello movie.
Skip ahead to 2:05
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein (3/11) Movie CLIP - Dracula Rises (1948) HD
I was tossed between that and something more akin to Cheech and Chong where Mel would just casually look back at the party and say "wicked trap dude". But I think Costello is a better fit. :)

Amazingly, I've never seen that movie. I think I should fix that.
And from now on, that's how I'm going to picture scared Mel. :D

Hey all, just letting you know I won't be posting much for the next couple of days. Tomorrow I'm running back-to-back PFS slots at a local convention, and the day after is my birthday, so I'll have family stuff going on. Try not to move too far without me!

Ditto ;)

Quiella, assuming you get unpetrified, you're welcome to join the group as a permanent member of the campaign. It does not appear that Aurelia is coming back.
I noticed there's a discussion about this on another thread, so I just wanted to make it clear that you're welcome to stay.

![]() |

Thanks. :) We'll see if I get unpetrified. I enjoy this group.

So, PbP Gameday 3 is coming up shortly, and I'd like to include your campaign characters yet again so you all can have a chance at winning boons.
I foresee finishing our current scenario by mid-November, but probably earlier. Once this is finished, the next game will be part of Gameday 3.
I've had to change up the order of games played once again in order for the Season 4 storyline to make sense. With that in mind, after Severing Ties the next game on deck is 04-19 The Night March of Kalkamedes. I know at least two of you have played that already, but I'm willing to run an additional scenario for those people as part of Gameday and to keep them on par with everyone else's XP total.
To fill out the tables then, I'll be pulling people from the general population on the Paizo recruitment thread and creating separate threads. Once both tables are finished, we'll return to this thread and continue the campaign as usual.
So, what I need to know now is, who has played Night March and, if you have, what scenario would you like to play? I'd prefer it to be a fast one that's comes from Seasons 1-3. Although I could be persuaded to run a Season 0 that doesn't require much conversion.
Here are some suggestions, let me know if one of them is suitable:
Infernal Vaults
Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible
Citadel of Flame
Goblinblood Dead
Voice in the Void

![]() |

This may not matter, because I have not played Night March. I have played Voice in the Void with another character. I *think* I'll be doing Infernal Vaults with that same character at a local gameday in a couple of weeks.
I have one or more cousins who just started doing PFS on the boards. I'm itching to play with them, even though I'm reluctant to increase my number of PbP games. Should I point them at this thread?

GM Harker |

Quiella, as long as you believe your cousins are mature enough and can keep up with a regular post schedule, I'm happy to have them join us to fill in whatever spots are available for Night March. When we first started this campaign, Moadis and Valik said they had played it before, so we have at least two spots open. I'll create a separate thread for Night March when we finish Severing Ties.
The list of potential scenarios are mostly for Moadis and Valik (and anyone else who has played Night March that I'm not aware of).

![]() |

The cousins in question are all older than me (and I'm in my 20s)--I have no qualms about their maturity.

![]() |

I'm offended. I'm over forty and am not mature! How dare you imply that it is possible for a male human to achieve maturity, at all, any time prior to death! ;)
