Okay I redid all my stuff, adjusted here and there my skills. But now I am stuck. I have over 500 gold and it's heavy. I need to shed some pounds (in RL too) and I am stuck. Right now I bought a new Cold Iron Greatsword and a Mwk Composite Bow +2 Str and a pair of CLW potions for those times I might need. I could buy some chainmail, which allows me to get more AC, but AC isn't my issue, weight is and that's a lot of extra weight. So do I just suck it up and keep the gold or is there something to buy.

Have you considered a Mithral Shirt? You wouldn't have enough money for it now, but later it might be a good purchase.

Yeah, I was thinking I needed to save some for some good upgrades, but that encumberance starts to hurt. The society needs safe deposit boxes.

Don't worry about gold weight, you can assume you leave it in a safe spot when you need it.

And removing coin weight gets me to light! woot. Okay updating character profile right now.

Everything up to date. Sold Buckler, Longsword, Longbow, all plain arrows. Bought Cold Iron Greatsword and Mwk Composite Longbow +2 Strength, 2 CLW potions.

CLW has 2 charges used from a previous scenario. That's right in Hero Lab, but I didn't copy it to the profile.

I just finished levelling in Hero Lab... Today was pretty rough. I can't get in the right headspace to game - I run Kingmaker on Tuesdays, and it's draining. I also just found out I have more reason to fear someone who's been giving me grief for a long time (threatened to knock me out in my own home, threw a rock at my car, and has harassed me online more than once when pretending to be my sister), so I'm pretty shaken and simply can't get my head in the game.

I'll post tomorrow, when I get home from work (and hopefully have a clearer head). In the meantime, I'm welcoming suggestions on how to spend some cash - I have about 1100gp to play with, as well as 4 PP, and no idea how to equip a cleric. >.>

Yeah, I found out today that one of the guys in my home game hangs out with this dropkick. I won't go into details, but the broad stoke of it is, the guy (not the guy in my game) has a drug habit, beats on women, and likes to run his mouth at the wrong people. And he knows where I live, and has reasons to hate me.

The guy in my game is nice enough, and hasn't allowed him to talk crap about me, but still... Knowing he's trying to turn him against me has left me feeling pretty vulnerable.

I'm going to give those not yet ready a couple of days before moving forward. I'm not sure waiting a week was too much time or not enough.

Will post later today. Exam today. Has left me busy the past coupla days.

To tell you the truth I live in Brasil, its soccer's world cup here now and I am doing my semester's final exams also. Its being pretty crazy latelly. That week off was a bless.

All done. Today went on forever; it's now half ten at night, and I am beat.

Bumped to lvl 2. Altered ability scores; swapped out healing domain for knowledge (thought subdomain). Changed out traits. Swapped selective channeling for improved initiative, because going sooner is always good.

BOUGHT:
Silver holy symbol of Pharasma (25 gp)
Potion of cure light wounds (50 gp)
Pearl of Power (1st-level) (1,000 gp - granted by boon from The Confirmation)

Which brings me down to just under 150gp left. But f*** yeah, extra spell.

And now to get my backside over to the gameplay thread.

I have exams at the moment, which is making me busier than normal, but I also had a mild family crisis (nothing serious thankfully!) that resulted in me needing to babysit my sister's kids while trying to juggle studying and exams and whatnot. Busy times.

I'll try my best to catch up tonight and tomorrow, but please do bot me in the instance that I am (almost certainly) holding things up.

After my exams are done next week things will be better. Sorry again!

Now that the holiday weekend is coming to a close in the USA, I'm hoping that we can get this scenario moving again. If a player hasn't posted within 24 hours, I reserve the right to bot them to get momentum back.

If no one is willing to heal the goblin within 24 hours, I'm going to assume everyone wants to wait until she heals naturally and move from there.

My paladin archetype does not use spells but I can lend my wand to anyone who wants to use it on the goblin.

I have been waiting for you to use Lay on Hands. I can use your wand though.

Me too, I've already killed one PFS guy. I'd rather not kill more. Especially since I'd have to start over.

The next game will begin during Season 6, so those of you in the Osirion and Andoran factions will need to switch to another faction before we start on Monday.

What, is Andoran and Osiron becoming extinct too? Did I miss a memo?

The events of Season 5 have changed all the country based factions into idea based factions. Osirion is becoming the Scarab Sages, while Andoran is becoming Liberty's Edge. If you belong to a faction that is changing, you can stick with what the faction becomes or jump to a completely different one without losing any Prestige Points.

Every single faction change they kill my favorite faction. First shadow lodge, now sczarni. Its really starting to annoy me.

And I think its a huge mistake to end the Cheliax faction.

Okay, well I'll be Liberty's Edge then.

I am going to need to think about upgrading some things, but I need to put this info in Hero Lab and see what my final gold amount is.

I think my upgrade path is, MW Comp Longbow, Efficient quiver, some sort of armor upgrade (or just wait until I can get the really good stuff?). Handy Haversack?

I am not sure how much I need to follow a normal upgrade path for these types of characters, any advice would be welcome

You could spend 2PP to "purchase" a +2 strength rating composite longbow or wait til level 4 to get the +3 version since you will have a 16 strength score.

Otherwise, you could purchase the usual +1 armor if you want or yu can gamble and save your gold for a bigger purchase :)

Not sure I am going to put upgrades into Strength, so baring a good purchase of a Str/Dex something, I suspect I am staying with the +2, but one of my plans is to put adaptive on the bow, since you never know when you'll take Strength Damage.

I just looked and it looks like I used gold to buy the Comp longbow, so that's checked off. This PFS stuff is hard to get used to, should have thought about using PP.

At this time, Halkale is up to date. I didn't buy anything. I don't have enough Fame to get to better armor and weapons.

I'm told it's polite to always spend your first 2 PP on a wand of CLW for others to use on yourself (or in my case, for me to use on myself). I will do that with Quiella.

Just realized I may not have time to make any other purchases officially before Monday. I know I want to pick up some spiked gauntlets (one silvered and one cold iron).

I am considering picking up something like a glaive as well.

Is there a +strength item that can be bought for pp? Mel is having a tough time staying only lightly encumbered.

A Masterwork Backpack costs 50gp and treats your Strength score as +1 higher than normal when calculating your carrying capacity. It's a cheap solution until you can afford a Handy Haversack.

Thanks, but I have one already. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but according to the pdf, I'm at 56.69 lbs and will move from light to medium encumbered at 58 lbs.

In the meantime, I guess Mel will just have to behave himself and save his cash.

I know a vanity pack bearer costs 5pp, but does PFS allow players to hire one for cash/day?
