The owner must be farther in, or is hiding by magic.
We came here to talk and we're attacked by the trolls, but the more I see of this place I'm beginning to wonder if the trolls and the owner of the keep are not connected.
It would explain why the crafted dog was not friendly to the troll.
As Stam opens the door of the hidden cupboard an arrow shoots out.

Darius looks at the item once Stam arrives. "Honestly, I'm not as knowledgeable in the things arcane friend Stam. But keep hold of them, I'm sure they'll come in handy eventually. Lets go find the others. Probably best not to separate for too long in this place." Then Darius goes to find Grergof and Spugnoir.
Spugnoir fumbles around with his tools but doesn't produce the desired result in the first attempt. Maybe him seeing the lock double doesn't help with the progress.
Spugnoir opens his backpack and takes out his portable alchemists lab (that he hopefully owns or he can't do nothing). He sets up the glass bulbs an burner and distributes the packs with the alchemical ingredients. He starts mixing the stuff and with his great skills he has the desired alchemist's kindness in about half an hour.
Spugnoir manages to open the door after some trying. Behind the door a stone bridge leads to the next building. The one with the western wall missing. The bridge has no rails. Someone here seems to be allergic to safety measures.
Whine the potion is brewing, Grergof goes and looks through the desk and scans the library to see if he sees anything that might tell him what is happening here or is generally interesting.

Stam will help Grergof looking for any papers, also with finding the invisible person. Stam will go back to check on the room where the broken animate object was taken too.
The library has a lot of books about engineering. Provides +2 on Knowledge(Engineering) checks.
Besides that you can find out that there were some engineers that slept in the cramped bedroom (G12). There are plans lying around about how to repair the damaged building and the destroyed bridge.

Spugnoir hurriedly gets his stuff back. We could try sending over a few invisible people again. Having a sleep might be wise, we have an excellent place to fortify and then we could go over at full strength.
