Brynn quickly takes a step in, fakes a quick jab with his leading fist, but comes through with his right hook instead.

The light punch barely distracts Brynn, but it was enough of a distraction for Bo to knock Brynn's legs out from under him. The big man falls!

She connects mightily against the left side of his rib cage. The crowd gasps. 14 damage.

Time out, why did she hit first? You said they held action and it was our turn?

Bryce winces as Aya's fist crunches into Shinami's ribs. He stands outside the ring, one hand on the top rope.
"Stay close and grapple," he encourages his companion. This isn't going to go well for me if Shinami goes down. Should never fight someone half my age on their own terms. Oh well, it's pride not lives. Bryce's thoughts are rueful as he studies the precise movements of his opponent.

Caught up in all the action going on in the rings, Kayla seems to have forgotten exactly who she said she was going to cheer for and now seems to take turns cheering for everyone there. Even the lady fighter since she decides that since Cecil isn't going to cheer aloud for her that she should do it for him. Ouchie Shinami, that looked like that blow hurt. I told you guys not to underestimate her. Watch out Brynn! Good trip there Bo, you can put me on the ground anytime. Get back up and kick his arse Brynn!
Kayla is still thoroughly enjoying the matches, face slightly flushed with the excitement and her long copper hair flowing gently in the light breeze of the day.

Bryce looks round briefly from Shinami's bout. He sees Brynn and Osslend in the other ring, a glimpse of Kayla's young face, a glimpse of Cecil in the roaring crowd.
Four unarmed. Two distracted. No-one on watch. Middle of a crowd. Perfect opportunity.
Suddenly uneasy, Bryce looks around the crowd, looking for the ... person out of place ... the warning signs ... the shadow slipping forward to plant the knife.

Good use of Hero Point Shinami! Hit negated.
As Shinami gets hit with a devastating blow, onlookers are amazed to see the elf roll off the strike with little ill effect. Seeing his opportunity, the grappler shoots for Aya's arm. However, Aya is able to wriggle away.
Meanwhile, Bryce begins scanning the crowd. His eyes fall on a cloaked figure leaning against a nearby building in the shade. He cannot see the stranger's hands.
It's a hot day for such a heavy cloak...
Boxer's round 3
Seeing the speed with which Brynn recovered, Bo moves to the ropes and slaps in Po.

Aya grabs Shinami's arm and moves him bodily away from Bryce, cutting off his help!

Bryce tries to keep one eye on the cloaked figure, and one eye on Shinami's fight. It seems that Aya is eluding Shinami's attacks handily, and now Shinami is on the other side of the ring from any help. Not going perfectly, I'd say.

Remember, Necromancy and Necromancers are instantly enemies of the state and all citizens, not to mention royal agents, are bound to do them harm once discovered. However, those in your group in competition would be in trouble for defrauding a public event. You're not lawful, so do what you want.

Haste
School transmutation; Level bard 3, sorcerer/wizard 3
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, M (a shaving of licorice root)
Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Targets one creature/level, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart
Duration 1 round/level=
Saving Throw Fortitude negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes (harmless)
The transmuted creatures move and act more quickly than normal. This extra speed has several effects.
When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with any weapon he is holding. The attack is made using the creature's full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation. (This effect is not cumulative with similar effects, such as that provided by a speed weapon, nor does it actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round.)
A hasted creature gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. Any condition that makes you lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) also makes you lose dodge bonus es.
All of the hasted creature's modes of movement (including land movement, burrow, climb, fly, and swim) increase by 30 feet, to a maximum of twice the subject's normal speed using that form of movement. This increase counts as an enhancement bonus, and it affects the creature's jumping distance as normal for increased speed. Multiple haste effects don't stack. Haste dispels and counters slow .
