Something like that. If he through it I'd be tempted to grab and close my fist around it since he might not be near enough or ready to sneak attack me. Otherwise, if just stepped out and dropped it, I might either throw my backpack at it as an improvised weapon and hope it smothers the darkness or just attack him instead.

The first move action would happen in round 27a before poison, but when I made the perception 25 roll. Round 28 that's another matter.

Shonne passes out, like the other three have. She is stabilized however, for some nefarious purpose.
Ala'Ihys finds himself slowly waking up, to the derro's mad laughter.
He finds himself strapped down by ankles, wrists and his forehead, lying on a table.
Besides him are several small sized tools, some of which for unknown but surely unpleasant purposes.
The derro stares at him with evil glee in his eyes, marking some parts of his arms and forehead. To the side, Ala'Ihys can see a brain in a jar and some 10 feet away a dissected goat. Other jars stand on shelves with a variety of creepy contents. The derro suddenly realizes he's missing something and scurries off.
From the returned dim lighting, Ala'Ihys can make out the party's items are dumped against a wall nearby.
I'll post the other details in a few hours, as i'm running late for some things to do around the house before i have to go to work.

Right, on with the rest.
After Ala'Ihys receives some attention and goes napping again, the derro drugs the party. Over the next several hours, he conducts his evil little experiments on surface dweller anatomy upon you all. This leaves you all at 4 hp and conscious.
Bound with worn rope, you find yourselves locked up in seperate rooms.
The derro, thinking his Guinea pigs secured, is minding his evil little business in the halls and is not in the lab for a minute at this given time. Which leaves you 10 rounds to escape, or this will costs 2 PP for a rescue team to free you, leaving you in current (but slightly less bad) condition.
Escaping:
The bonds require either a DC 14 Escape artist or DC 15 strength check.
The doors require either a DC 20 Disable Device or DC 17 Strength.
I'll have you know my thrush familiar kicked in a door, so even with strength penalty, it's possible. Brallenera can vouch for that ;).
Aid other is of course a given option.
Your gear is just around the corner in the lab.

But when she realises her armor his removed, and that her muscles don't react with their usual power, she takes some deep breaths to keep her mind calm, to not let her anger override her brain.
Showing surprising wisdom, she tries to wriggle under the loose bonds and quickly escape their grasp.

Well, Shonne is not going to be good for adventuring for about a week, unless we stumble on a half charged wand of lesser restoration. So I doubt she's getting out of here in a minute--what with the small amount of blood she has in her poison. We'd have to don our armor real fast or carry it either would probably put most of us in Medium or Heavy or even past max load territory and depending on what day it is our captor can probably cast darkness some more, and shoot more poison at us and is probably himself at full or fuller health....
So yeah, no thank you. Though I guess it would be nice to be the one dragged around for a change. ;)

you have your armor on, it was my intent to kill the derro, if not nothing lost, he puts us back in chains and we pay the 2 PP. So at least try to get loose, your in the same room as Ala'Ihys and he has kicked the door down already, he is not going to leave without you or any other member of the party. I would rather not spend the 2 PP if we don't have to!

Stealth was concerning Brallenera's earlier plan to str check down the doors and hiding. But with current planning, that is negated XD.
As far as who the derro would be.....have you noticed how in 2:04 - 2:10 The Lion King scar and his hyena's resemble, oh i dunno....
What can we say about this derro in that case? :)
Btw, if by me describing Ala'Ihys' being bound hadn't given it away, i like a good movie. If any creepy scenarios come around, i'll be sure to get creative.
