One restoration 1000 gp is payed by me and one by our rouge.
What about the raise dead itself?
That's much more expensive, (5,450 gold in total) and I don't have the Prestige to cover it (normally 16 PP) - unlike the restorations, which I DO have the Prestige to cover, so I would rather make my share of my raising be in the form of 8 Prestige, fully covering the restorations that way on my own, and you and the others could cover the raise dead (I've seen it divvied up that way before sometimes, for what it's worth).
I understand you could cast restoration yourself, Shardra, but doing it that way would only save us 560 gp, so I think it would actually be more manageable this way.
Afaik, mission reward money is useable for raise funding, yes.

Nemesis owns a lot of valuable equipment.
And I believe you can spend money from this adventure on the raise as well.
Might be worth selling that guard’s gear!
One thing I've never seen is PCs being expected to cover their raising all on their own - it's almost always spread among the party.

You guys surely can pay the 4 pp each for the restoration.
Then we have around 11 k for two raise dead.
Devided by 5 that’s 2200 gp for each pc.
I offer 2200 of Shardra’s gold for this scenario. If that is not enough I offer all the gold she receives.

You can’t give other people PPs.
Nemesis has loads of GP value invested in gear (such as an adamantine longsword) that is not essential.
She can spend her pp on restoration and her gold on raise dead.
If Shardra and Gru’gar give Nemesis gold then she can put that toward the raise dead as well.
Nemesis can afford to raise herself; Shardra, you be as generous as you want but don’t feel obliged to ‘save’ anyone.

I've always done it for others, and Id've done it for you; what's with the parsimony (to say nothing of presuming to say what is and isn't "essential" - part of the idea with the longsword was to lend to other PCs in the event of an iron golem or something)?
@Shardra: That does seem a bit overly generous of you, on the other hand; it would be good if we could just split that spirit between the two of you.

The gold reward for all except Shardra, with pregen between tiers , is 1550 gp.
I noticed Nemesis has 1666 gp, meaning you are at roughly 3/5th of your raise dead cost with the money reward included. Gru'Gar and Shardra have offered 1k, initially, to fund your revival. You mentioned you could cover the negative levels with your own prestige points.
Any money short of the raise dead, you could sell a few items for.

That's right, it's a custom - and a good custom it is. It helps encourage (or at least avoid discouraging) bravery.
As for the item, I'll choose either a Lantern of the Four Elements (would've been nice to have had the Greater version this adventure!), OR a Lesser Rod of Steam Spell, my choice contingent upon whether the former could be directly upgraded to a greater version like you can with Rings of Protection, ability-increasing headbands/belts, etc. If I can't, I'll take the Rod instead. Anyone know?

I'm working on the chronicles, but for Nemesis:
5450gp = raise dead
Gold contribution Gru'Gar & Shardra: 2000gp
Gold needed from Nemesis: 3250gp.
Current funds + reward money = 3216
Dayjob money = 20gp.
Nemms will need to sell 1 trivial thing for her contribution, to make up for the missing 14gp. Or buy someone lunch for those 14gp. :P
