6PP spent on Corrosive Aura as a standard action. 6 rounds of 6d6 acid damage with a DC 14 Ref for half.
Move action to cast Metamorphosis augmented to 7th level. (7PP)

Metamorphosis:

--Increase your size by two size categories (+4 size bonus to Strength, -4 size penalty to Dexterity, appropriate size modifiers to AC, CMB, attack rolls, etc). This effect does not stack with other effects that increase your size.
--You gain two natural slam/bite/claw attacks that deal 1d8 damage if Medium (1d10 if Large). (1 bite, and 1 claw)
--+2 enhancement bonus to Dexterity.
--You gain a +1 natural armor bonus.

Um this alchemist fire attack, can I use evasion to take half damage? I didn't realize there was an attack that out hit and doesn't allow a save on damage. Can someone explain it to me please.

Edit: I am guessing from the map this is an attack from the thumpers(siege engines?). They don't allow a save for half damage like normal catapults or normal alchemist fire?

Provided the red craters show the point of impact, it looks like you were within 5-ft. - which has an identical effect to a direct hit with the siege version alchemist's fire. Between 5-30 ft. is where you instead take half damage, and a save allows you to take none instead. Not to make things worse, but if I'm being honest, Choon should have you five saving against the blasts you WEREN'T within 5-ft. of as well (for half-or-none damage). It looks like he's letting that slide, though.

If it's any consolation, I bet evasion will come in handy against these 'battle mages.' :-)

You guys have so much more scope to your PCs than mine, mine is limited to what she can do, but I made her that way so she has staying power. While you burn through power points and spell slots, she just keep popping away with things she can do all day. Its just she cant do that much.

No problem, Angels. I'm not crazy familiar myself, but in my time GMing, I've learned that sometimes the only effective defense against flying gnomes is an excessive amount of ballista. >:-) I'm glad you like my formatting style - I was actually kind of intimidated watching this game on its first go-around, because my brain couldn't parse what was happening. I format my posts that way because I HAVE to.

Man though, this game is chaotic and hilarious, and I'm loving every second of it. With the 'scope' thing, Panic - I feel ya a little bit: the rakshasa stuff isn't *too* combat-focused, and with my Master of Forms half, I can't just jump into the fray without cycling up a bit first. So I've got to play careful for a couple rounds until I can do something really awesome, and then it's rinse-repeat.

PS: Oh man, I hate it when I accidentally duplicate roleplay. Craven has had the fight 'begin in earnest' twice now! Maybe I'll just play it off as a Vegeta thing: just keep ranting every five minutes about how it's finally time to show you all my true power. X-D

I think the GM is completely capable of botting a character, and its generally his right/duty/pleasure/whatever to do so.

well, I decided to take the opportunity to shoot from far rather than going for melee, which is anyway more Areth way of doing things: hidden and one shot kill / covering fire.

Also even if they have cover, I can at least try to hit them plus got Blind-Fight Feat for these kind of situations

I think then we may have a problem. As your last post was Tuesday, and Canaan is away this week, You both where bottled into the trench when everyone was ordered to attack. This was done as the GM made clear getting a shot would be hard form the friendly outpost.

Now if you saying your PC stayed, and I think Canaan will if you are. Then we may need some GM retro actions for the 3 rounds of combat. Undoing attacks on you and getting the hits on others in the trench.

If gm rules snipe chance from friendly post is very low the order would stand and Ynja would have MADE you both go with the others hoping you could get a better snipe points there into the trenches.

The logic for this is simple, both sides have Snipers working the front line, so both side make trenches to give cover and are use to moving around under it under the threat of sniper hits. Being where you are you will have to deal with that, but joining the attack places in the tranches where you can get clear shots supporting use. My PC is a ranged fighter but she is giving close support.

My feeling is having to PC back at a safe trench taking the odd pot shot really weakens our attack. But if you can get clear shots with a good chance to hit then that could really help.

I think where going to have to wait on the GM to clear this up.

wow this fight is hard, we are getting our butts kicked.


Not that the Friar is EVER going to die but I am already thinking of what the next guy will look like -__-
I am thinking of using the spheres of power to create a prophet controlling the weather and nature. Think of an old, weather worn man with a long white beard and a staff in hand who shouts to the wind and earth to do his bidding.

So in that vein he will be a human Incanter/Elementalist (Geomancer archetype).
The Incanter will give him a strong base for his abilities, and where his weather talents will come from.
The Geomancer will be focused on nature abilities like earth control or summoning trees to bash people with.
If I have talents left over, I might go with something from the Fate, Light or Life sphere?

Anyways, I was thinking of using these Casting Traditions for my weathered prophet. What do you think?

Focus Casting The prophet carries a staff, and that staff is what he uses to focus his power, and what he casts his powers through.

Verbal Casting the Prophet calls out with loud voice and firey sermons as he casts his spells. With a loud voice he splits the heavens and Commands the trees to uproot.

Easy Focus the Prophet can keep a storm brewing while he does other things.

And maybe;
Somatic Casting where the prophet cannot wear armor, were instead he wears robes made from the hides of wild animals. Yet his spells have Overwhelming Power against those he chooses to use it on.

Outside of that.

Looking at the speed most players posted after the last GM round sum up.
Most burn out great action posts with in 24/48 hours. With real life that sounds about right, and what most of us would do. But I have to ask again, and I know this may seem pushing, but will we be bottling players who post out side say 48 hours. I think 2 days is fair, and I realize that RL gets in the way, and that this may seem harsh. But I ask because I can see this fight best game losing impetus in the combats all stall and have to wait 2 to 5 days for that last player to post in a round. I have seen it in other games, it all just seems to drag and players drift. We all like recruitment as you get fast feed back and you feel things more moving.

1d125, well its just a missing (+) should be [1d12+5+2+2+3+2d6] so just knock of the (0) and you get 8 = 8+5+2+2+3+4 = 24DMG. I think.

While travailing on a very dull trip, I had some time to think about what could be the background of the two citys, more of what they may be like at places to live.

Then it hit me, what of one, Ours its tolerant of monsters and other races, creeds and kinds. Where the undead, Spawn of the Hells, Fey and such are welcomed. Where as the other city are puritanical seeking only core races and others as sinful, wicked and abominations. Where our city uses Monsters to fight the other seeks Magic-tech and pour breeds. That's not to say everyone in our city is happy about Monsters, and that everyone in the other is happy about Purging none 'Normal's'. This then could be a great rallying point for our PCs, we fight for the freedom to have a place to live. Or revenge for persecution, or just to fight and be tolerated in the ranks.

In this way, A Devil blooded, can fight alongside an angel blooded and Demon blooded and not attack each other, as they are all fighting for an idea of a city of tolerance.

Just an idea.

Ok with the order form her commander, she is going after the Catapults hitting the front line. Just to note action, she is now in range, the Range on her Arcane Bolt (Su) is 160', with its burst effect of 20 foot radius. She is doing an air bust above the 2 Catapults firing at the front line. The aim is to try and set off their alchemist fire. IF the fate dice are nice, next roll, my hope is there will be a big BOOM from that way. Bad news is, Friar.. It could be a case of "out of the Friar Pan, into the alchemist fire".. see what I did there,

Lol, thats ok. With the damage I took last round, I am going to have to retreat underground right away (why do I keep biting off more then I can chew? ^_^ waaaay more...) I appreciate you moving me, but with 30 ft move, I wouldn't be able to move that far on 30 ft move. Also the aqueous orb is still around for 3 rounds (so please watch where you move - pretty sure the square we're at is the aqueous orb). At canann's current position I would be 2 east of him, in the fog, thanks.

I have no access to a computer, sporadic access to internet by phone. I will do my best with whatever resources I have at hand, but I cannot draw things, nor move tokens now.

My hope was you would move the orb, rolling at the three troops. If you don't we are going no place out the fog., as there is only a 5' gap and you have placed yourself there to cast your spell. Let me know if that is right for your move, action this round. If it stands as of now the rest if us are bottle necked until you or the Orb move. Sorry Celeste looks like your on your own. my hope was we could get to you, but there are still three Enemy close our side of the two Axe mages and thumpper.
