Gobbo!

Sorting through the piles of bodies the goblins find plenty of human sized gear which proves to be of little value. The captain-shanks did have a rather fine looking shield which seems magical, and his half-plate armor appears to be of very fine quality. The wizardly fellow had two potion bottles, a magic ring, and some magic bracers around his wrists. Between all of the humans a total of 116gp, 215sp, and 98cp can be found.

The standard soldiers had studded leather, shortswords, and two javelins each. All mundane.

I'd say we should go to a non-burning building with a lot of room to move around, like an inn or something, and celebrate/rest while the rest of the fighting finishes up. The goblins have to be pretty much victorious at this point, right?

Rusty Dragon, fair enough!

The goblins half scurry, half hobble away, their wounds and weariness starting to overcome them as they make their way to the most well known place to rest that they can think of. The scene in the city is one of complete chaos. Goblins run all through the streets pillaging and looting, many times that looting being done at the expense of a slower or weaker goblin! With the armed opposition fleeing, the only resistance the looters find is that of other looters who have already laid "claim" to an especially nice spot.

Fires burn high into the sky as much of the city continues to be consumed by flame. It will be a wonder when all is said and done if any buildings remain intact. The group makes their way to the Rusty Dragon and finds it already pillaged, several dozen goblins hanging around outside, most with grotesquely round stomachs, a side effect of the mass consumption of the ale and beer stores within the tavern. Kicking aside one of the drunk goblins and stepping inside the scene isn't much different. Dozens of goblins lay sprawled about the taproom, some on the floor, others on tables, and a couple actually hanging upside down from a long banister along one of the walls.

You bypassed the big final fight, so I might make you wait just a bit before another bump. And you missed a good one too!

As the gobs all find quiet places to rest their bones and pass out, the clamor in the city begins to die down as the last remaining ships and defenders set sail from the harbor to the open waters, leaving the burning town far behind them. As our "heroes" dream of piles of loot, goblin slave women, and massive burning pyres, the once proud humans of Sandpoint curse the goblinoid race and vow that they would have their revenge, as the ships make their way along the coast.

The next morning finds our heroes well rested after their ordeal, each of them slowly getting to their sore feet and finding something to gobble down and eat. The scene outside is madness, goblins pushing carts full of furniture, clothing, food, and nearly any other valuable imaginable. As the goblins stumble from the front doors of the Rusty Dragon they are able to take in the full scope of the aftermath of the raid in the morning sunlight. At least 3/4 of the city was burned to charcoal and ash, pillars of smoke still rising into the air from around the husk of what was once Sandpoint. Those buildings that remain are quickly being dismantled for building materials, and a long line of goblins can be seen making their way towards the main square of the town, some distance to the north.

If nothing of real value, he'll take something personal for himself, even if it's just a kerchief or something he can hang from his sash or a banner off the wall or something... doesn't have to have REAL value, just a keepsake for himself, preferably Minkaian, but doesn't have to be, though finding a personal cache of hers would be nice too, lol

The goblins follow the activity to the main square, where they discover a massive wooden monstrosity being quickly erected in the center of the open plaza. All around the area are large piles of wood and stone, pilfered and stripped from the remaining buildings. A large mound of rope and twine sits piled at one side and buckets of mud and sand are strewn around the square.

The massive object in the center of the square can only be compared to a enormous scarecrow. With a torso and appendages of wooden planks, lashed together and caked with mud and straw, and feet made of piles of stone and brick. Its head, still currently under construction by no less than a dozen goblins, is oblong and poorly shaped, with huge swaths of cloth and fiber being crafted into what could only be hair. The whole thing teeters and wobbles dangerously, yet a score of goblins continue to climb and traverse the massive construct, hastily working to finish the work of art.

Seated high on his wobbling throne of chairs sits Ripnugget, eyeing the spectacle with satisfaction and excitement. Occasionally he calls out to one of the goblins on the statue, barking an order to move a piece or to add more mud and straw, relishing in his position as the overseer of the marvelous creation.

At your approach a few of the goblins you know as elite guards call out to you, "Hey! Yous! Where yous at when fights all done? Yous run and hides like fraidy-fraid longshanks in their boats?"

The goblins turn and laugh with each other, "Hah! Yous not at big fight, must have been hidin in the dark! Ripnugget chop the head off of the longshanks leader, kill so many others. Him is biggest goblin hero now!" At this point one of the other goblins pipes up and says, "Chief asking for yous," as he points to the goblin who had given more rides than Greyhound, "Hims probably wants big boom boom for victory party!" This draws another round of chuckles and laughter.

Nurpus then jerks up as if he is suddenly aware that someone watching him.

Everyone is sleeping I guess :P

Gretcha shuffles over to the wobbling throne, picking up a stone from the ground and sending it flying at the teetering stack of wood. Bouncing off with a loud crack, the stone has the desired effect, as Ripnugget glances down from surveying the construction efforts to notice the small goblin below. "Ahh! Is missing gob heroes! Miss big fight you did! Stupid-shanks go running to their boats and swimming away like fishies! The recounting of the fleeing humans delights the goblin chief to no end, and he begins laughing and cackling to himself in earnest.

"Soon we have biggest gob statue for memory of battle, very big!" he continues as he waves his hands towards the towering pile of scrap. "But, Ripnugget need palace. Place for bestest gob hero to live. No more caves and holes or creaky wood keep for Ripnugget. Needs biggest bestest place!" He leans towards the group somewhat, causing his teetering and wobbling throne to lean sharply to the side. "Gobs discover big nice house, far from burning houses, still safe. Sends to check, dey no come back. Sends more gobs, not come back. I needs you gobs, bestest gobs, to make house ready. Go explore house, find other gobs, and come back."

Gretcha goes over to the nearest magic shop after talking to Rippy, looking for some really awesome magic items.

I'd like to find another wand of cure light wounds, and if possible a lesser rod of Bouncing Spell. Other nice options would be a Corset of the Vishkanya, or Circlet of Persuasion

Ripnugget, a suddenly concerned look on his face, waves his hands in the air at Torch and shouts, "No! No burning! No town left because of all the burning! Bad gob!"

Now that the town is under goblin control and has been properly pillaged, you all can make purchases for a town of its size. Any magic item under 1,000gp in value is considered to be available and can be purchased. Anything over that will likely not be available, but we can roll for it.

With the sudden influx of gold and silver, chits are no longer of value to the goblins and are worthless. You can discard any unspent chits at this time.

Even though they have no real use for them, I will allow you all to sell acquired goods, especially the armor and weapons for medium sized creatures, at 50% value.
