Of the three options, this was the one we did when I played this before also. It sucked. We only succeeded on a reroll of our last chance to make the last check we needed. Without flight or teleportation in this party it's going to suck even more. I don't remember anything about the big monster thing or what the deal was with Ailuros as far as interactions with either of them. I just remember getting our butts handed to us.

I think we 1) kill a jinsul at a control panel, then 2) disable or do something to the panel. Rinse and repeat without running out of time or health.

This is the least combat heavy of the options (none have starship combat) and gives you the most opportunities for skills.

I will point out that the mechanics are different for different tiers so if you played in the higher tiers it's not the same, Mahari.

When I played this, this is the mission we started out with in this section and the one we played the whole time so I completely forgot there were other options available.

Mahari will know (and can relate) that it is an extension of Kadrical's psyche that the jinsuls have summoned up to siphon into Dhurus. The devices they're manning are what is allowing them to do that.

It has been babbling incoherently the whole time so, it seems that either something has gone wrong or they just don't have any control over it, yet.

You all know how to roll for day jobs (if you have them). To roll for boons, roll a d20 first. If you get 19 or 20 you get a boon. Roll 1d4 to determine which boon you get.

Mahari pilots the Mean Gurl back to the Starfinder docks at Absalom Station. When she arrives, she makes sure the servicing crew takes good care of her and patches the damage done by the nasty little jinsul that got inside.
Day job, Profession (Starship Captain): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Jack of All Trades lets her make any skill check untrained, so she does a different Day Job every mission, taking on a role somehow related to something that happened. It's more for fun than maximizing credits.

@GM: She currently has 11 XP. Sorry for the extra work figuring out the credits 1 XP at a time :)

No worries, Mahari. The first mission I ever played with a character was Scoured Stars Invasion so, the GM for this mission for him had to do the same thing for me.

Mahari and Wilson, I was assured by my GM when I did this that you get the normal rewards plus the special rewards so you ended up with 4 XP each plus all the credits and fame, etc.

It looks like my Chronicle has Mahari's character name on it, if that could get fixed.

Sorry, Wilson...I used a copy of Mahari's for yours and saved it after putting in the correct player name but then, apparently, did not save it after I made all the other edits. The player name is actually the only correct thing on that sheet.

I'll get a new one out to you, today.
