A pearl for what? Quill doesn't cast spells! I maintain he somehow has spell like abilities. Until I see evidence that he is something other than an archer, Mariana will swear by that.

That said...Mariana is going to want to see about a new CLW wand...and then I'll have to think about it.

You are getting different payouts because of how I distribute loot, based on what individuals have claimed for personal use. Once you have your payouts (above), add that to whatever loose cash you have on your character sheet. Anything you wish to purchase should be subtracted from that new total amount.

Example:
Storn just received his payout of 1756 gp. On his character sheet, he has 33 gp listed. Now, he has a total of 1789 gp. He wants to provide materials for a pearl of power (500g), and get a +1 studded leather armor because he likes studs (1175g). He now has 81 gp left, and a new pearl necklace to go with his studded leather bustier.

You choose your class, then your skills, then your feats. Order matters.

Class first. I don't think there's ever been any order established that I'm aware of for picking skills/feats. If it's a matter of a prereq, I believe you need to have the prereq satisfied at an earlier level (i.e. if you need three ranks in a skill to take a feat, you'd have to be fourth level before you could take it).

2. Apply Ability Score increase if any.

3. Integrate new class features, then roll for Hit Points.

4. Add new skills and feats.

Handy haversack and efficient quiver both requires a 5th level wizard spell, so... probably not. ^^;

I get that everyone thinks Vomit Swarm is gross - it is very unaesthetic - but Witches don't have a lot of area spells... and despite the ick factor, it's wonderfully effective. ^_^

It should be pointed out that this cert actually has a secondary sheet that gives you a once per day or scenario enlarge person you can use on self, so if you have a Str character to attach it to, it might not be a bad idea (I'm looking at maybe using it on my level 1 guy with 22 strength, for example...)

Human, 17 pts for 18 +2 racial modifier, then he is a Battle Host Occultist with points in transmutation, which gives +2 to one physical stat, which I pick strength until I can afford a Str belt, then move it to Con to make up for him only having a 12.

It's a stupid twinkie build that I may never end up playing past 1st, but his stat line is 22 12 12 13 10 7 and he has o-yoroi armor at first level...he's ridiculous, honestly. Lead Blades twice a day, 19 AC at level 1, +6 to hit for 2d6 +12 damage. The build is listed as Sukune as one of my aliases.

As an update on my housing situation. We are back in the house tonight, though there are fans in our kitchen and most of the flooring is cut out. Insurance company comes tomorrow to tell me how much we will be replacing, but for sure they are going to be replacing a wall in my living room and the flooring in the kitchen. It is very likely they will be gutting my kitchen due to damage done to the underside of my cabinets and the wall, as such, I will likely be without a kitchen for the next month to two months while this all goes on. Also very likely they will be replacing the carpet in the living room, so I am going to have to move everything on the bottom floor of my house out for a week so they can redo it, as well. YAY. So repacking my life, as if I am moving without a new place to go to. Raises the resale value of the place, at least, and I might have some say in some of the design decisions, so it may end up being great in the long run and keep me in my house longer than we had planned. Thankfully, I noticed it right before I was going to bed and we got it shut off before it damaged anything beyond the wall and flooring in the kitchen.
