Looks like I need to bot Noro, does anyone have any suggestions for actions for her to take? Tsuto is currently quite surrounded.
HP 10/22 | Per +2 | CMB +7 | CMD 17, AC 20, Touch 10, Flat 20 | Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +8
Have her follow Chaise or myself for now, I guess. Maybe start digging around for something to drink after all this exercise of running around...?
Male Varisian Human Air Elementalist (Wizard) 2 / Archivist (Bard) 2 [ HP -4/20 | AC 11/11/10 | CMB +0, CMD 11 | Fort +1, Ref +4, Will +3 | Init +2; Perception +5 (+7 when familiar near) ]
I think she'd punch Tsuto. In the face. Or kick him in the nads.
But yes, I think she'd follow after me.

As a note, when Tumbling you only move at 1/2 speed for the squares you are tumbling through. Basically, those squares count double for trying to move through them without getting hit.

sorry all little off track will get caught up on monday.
@Spectrum- ah, not 1/2 speed for the entire move action, just the ones he is Acrobating through? Thanks, I'll move him accordingly.
@Noro- no rush, not much has happened.
EDIT: Hmm; can you provoke AOOs around a hard corner? Or is it just an attack penalty?
Cover: Orbius Onx, sea elf sailor. HP 8/8, AC 14, CMD 11, Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +3, Init +2, Per +7, Admixture 9/9
Yes. Corners provide partial cover. In order to not provoke he'd need full cover, or full concealment.
Basically he just gets an AC bonus out of it.
Heh, silly me, I forgot he could spend a ki point to run faster. Ah well.
Hmm maybe I should start rolling perception checks like that for you myself; would it be fair to say that because you rolled low, more of you tried to search him? Given that your character wouldn't be aware that they searched poorly, it could make a difference.
Cover: Orbius Onx, sea elf sailor. HP 8/8, AC 14, CMD 11, Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +3, Init +2, Per +7, Admixture 9/9
Can we just assume to take 20, or even take 10, on the search since we aren't under time constraints?
Male Varisian Human Air Elementalist (Wizard) 2 / Archivist (Bard) 2 [ HP -4/20 | AC 11/11/10 | CMB +0, CMD 11 | Fort +1, Ref +4, Will +3 | Init +2; Perception +5 (+7 when familiar near) ]
That makes sense! You rolling the checks, I mean.

wanted to get this out before I forget.
I am rolling into vacation mode. starting July 4th until at least the 17th. I will have very little online time and even less once I get to the Bahamas. so Noro will just follow along and beat up anyone that pisses her off (except the party).
No problem. Anyone else going to have especially intermittent posting rates over the next time period?
Cover: Orbius Onx, sea elf sailor. HP 8/8, AC 14, CMD 11, Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +3, Init +2, Per +7, Admixture 9/9
Well, I have a hard time posting thursday-saturday pretty much every week. I am going out of town this weekend, but the hotel has wi-fi, so I should still be able to get a post or two in.
HP 10/22 | Per +2 | CMB +7 | CMD 17, AC 20, Touch 10, Flat 20 | Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +8
Since you're asking, I'm going on vacation August 8-18. I have no idea what my internet situation will be like.
Beep beep. No rush, just bumping

Just to give fair warning, I'm going on vacation August 8-18 and will probably not have internet access. Even after I get back, it may take a few days to get caught up with everything again.

I will be away this weekend leaving Friday morn till Sunday evening

Totally forgot to roll when we leveled up.
Woot!
Spectrum, just noticed that pseudodragons can only speak draconic. Is there some ruling that telepathy means you can speak with anything, or have I made the mistake of letting your pseudodragons chat with people who don't know draconic? Or have you gifted them a language somehow?
Cover: Orbius Onx, sea elf sailor. HP 8/8, AC 14, CMD 11, Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +3, Init +2, Per +7, Admixture 9/9
Here's the Telepathy rules
Basically, if a creature is within 100 feet and is capable of language, the psudodragons can talk with it. Telepathy supersedes the need for mutual language.
If it's outside of 100 feet, the psudodragons can only understand Draconic.
The creature can mentally communicate with any other creature within a certain range (specified in the creature’s entry, usually 100 feet) that has a language
I take that as meaning the creature can mentally communicate IN THAT LANGUAGE. No?
Cover: Orbius Onx, sea elf sailor. HP 8/8, AC 14, CMD 11, Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +3, Init +2, Per +7, Admixture 9/9
Here's a thread about it.
A quick board search reveals a lot of similar threads. The consensus seems to be that Telepathy is essentially a Universal Language, out to it's range.
If you'd rather do things differently in this game, that's fine.
Dayum, telepathy is cool.
I'd like to restrict it to Common, just so as not to make comprehend languages, tongues and linguistics useless. So your dragons can telepathically communicate with any creature as long as they know common.

Alright.
What is the Common tongue around here?

Wyam, would you use a very expensive ranseur?
HP 10/22 | Per +2 | CMB +7 | CMD 17, AC 20, Touch 10, Flat 20 | Fort +8, Ref +3, Will +8
Not for the purpose of ostentatious display; but if hits more easily or does more damage, sure!
Heh, the book seems to be under the impression that these fellows have Fast Healing, when according to their stats they don't.
These fellows look slightly weaker than the one you faced before- no Barbarian levels!- but they have regenerative abilities.
Chaise previously said that sin spawn are immune to mind effecting, and spectrum would probably remember. Would you like to change your action? Would you like me to offer this option again in the future?
Cover: Orbius Onx, sea elf sailor. HP 8/8, AC 14, CMD 11, Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +3, Init +2, Per +7, Admixture 9/9
Yes please. That's a player screw-up. Spectrum is way smarter than that.
Heh aye. Change your action, then.

Whoa whoa whoa. Can Spellstrike be applied to Ranged attacks?
Cover: Orbius Onx, sea elf sailor. HP 8/8, AC 14, CMD 11, Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +3, Init +2, Per +7, Admixture 9/9
No, I'm just firing my bow. The charge from Shocking Grasp isn't applied to it.
It gets held for a few rounds. Hopefully I'll be able to make a melee attack soon or it will be wasted too.

Just to make it clear, I as a player, am NOT upset at all with Noro. That scene was great, and fits perfectly with the fact that we are pretty inexperienced at this adventuring thing, and with fighting together in general.
I think Noro is awesome.
That being said, if you puke on me again, you might need to make a Will save. ;)

will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
preemptive It most likely will happen again
also I never worry about character diagrements. it happens.
Noro was supposed to be all brawn and limited brain. she has always been fighting alone in the ring. teamwork is something she abandoned a long time ago.

On the map it looks like there is a door leading north, right above Noro. Is that door apparent to us?
Ah sorry, I haven't been updating the map with your tokens' progress, only revealing more of the map as you explore. I'll move you to where you are now.

I just had a thought about this ruling you made earlier. I don't mind it, but it does screw up a bit of what we've already established in the game.
Glimmer has been assumed to have been translating much of what is said to Chaise's familiar Isme.
Isme only speaks Varisian. If the Pseudodragons can only communicate telepathically in common, that undoes the previous conversations between them.
How would you like us to handle this?
I'm not quite sure yet. One idea I had was that Pseudodragons get bonus languages and you chose Varisian; but their int is only 10, so not that.
Thoughts, anyone?

Give them Varisian as a regional language based on where they were born?
Cover: Orbius Onx, sea elf sailor. HP 8/8, AC 14, CMD 11, Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +3, Init +2, Per +7, Admixture 9/9
What language is the "common tongue" of this area anyway? Maybe we're all speaking Varisian?
