all right, I recognize this was my bad, and I should have been working on something to move along. But, so far you have explored the areas highlighted by this silly little map I came up with. The blue 1 is the first full wooded hex, which you guys haven't touched, the obvious entrance to the Narlmarshes. So far James's idea is to follow the river and take the ford by surprise in the night. Do you all agree to leaving the horses behind so that you might accomplish them? remember that the horses will be of little help.

I am thinking you will walk through the hex 1 and continue cutting west to the river in hex 2. I understand that you do not wish to map at this time, but just move. Confirmation?

That's what i think we should do. Move through hex 1 at first light taking 8 hours (unless anyone wants to wear armour/ carry a load that slows the move down to 20'). Then move to Hex 2 taking a similar time, thus we maybe able to hit the bandit camp (if there) at dusk or 'Near Dark' (unless the party move is 20' if so it takes 2 days, which is fine by me).
We should take the horses unless it slows down our progression through the forest. As it allows us a small burst of speed if we need it/ lose badly against the bandits.
Anyway i have had a good night, my village Beer Festival, so i have been sat in a Graveyard drinking microbrews :)

That would be cool, Mordecai. 'Cause if we get ambyshed travelling through 1 it is still better than having to camp for a night there. Anyway i am wiped out, so i am heading to bed.

Aria hope the note thing is alright because Ali does not want to trespass on Tigs' territory. If not then retcon it out.

@Ali, umm no offense at all, but there's really no better way to say this, and not meaning anything towards your role-playing, but a little bit of an accent is fine and really brings out more of the character but too much accent makes everything really hard to read and understand. again, no offense meant at all, but literally, the only parts of your last post i understood was "something about magic," and "something about sneaking"

NP, sometimes it can get a bit difficult or draining trying to even write it. At others it becomes to easy (& probably too illegible).

Hey guys, sorry about my silence the last couple days. I'm going through a bit of a rough patch with my gf and my family, and I'm having trouble summoning creative energy from that. I had hopes to write tonight but another argument has left me feeling drained so hopefully later tongiht I'll be better. Either way I have the next two days off so let's hope I'm feeling up to it in the morning. Just apologizing for crap and explaining my abscence, happy trails.

Well, the uni boys are up to their eyeballs in work, so if ya'll don't mind, I will pause for a bit until things get settled with our inquisitor. I want this to be fun for everyone, not an obligation, and you're going to come up on some pretty heavy stuff story wise and would not like anyone to miss out on it.

Forgot that Sleep was Save-or-suck, i am used to the old-school; where it affects 2d4 HD of creature unless you are lvl 4 - AUTOMATICALLY.
Had a good thing last night, where we opened a door-
GM: Save Vs. Dragon Breath, 200 points full
Us: We're 5-7th level, so what's the point.
Anyway this will be my first Pathfinder/3rd+ combat (although i do play SW d20)

Thanks, I was looking in the Core Rulebook last night, but the index & appendix were no help. I'll edit the question out of my post and put up another changing the focus of the life link to Tam, with comensurate RP of course :)
That is depending if we are acting on Ryuko's/the plan. As it allows some healing for Tam if he is split of from the main group slightly.

Okay, I will work on a post this afternoon and have it up this evening.
As i understand it your plan is thus:
James and Tam sneak around, take out the sentries. Stanis casts sleep on the other bandits.
And you're going to do this in the evening, but not full dark?
Stanis has just sent his thrush to bring back information that we can assume that James probably would have told you even if he didn't mention it specifically in the dialog.
Ali is going to provide back up for Tam via life-link. Which is a very smart idea btw, rogues being as squishy as they are.

Probably if You & I get slightly closer, then i could cast 'Shield of Faith' on you & then you charge. Ali following nerby so that she can heal you or James. Of course, her channeling is NON-SELECTIVE.
Although it depends on how GM Aria sets it up.

Okay guys, I am working on putting "coordinates" on the battlemap, 1- blah and A - blah so that you can tell me where the heck you guys want to end up.
This is going to take me quite some time, but in terms of gameplay, hopefully it will be less confusing. Okay?
So, things are going to be delayed a bit, but this huge freaking thing should not be. I hope. If I had maptools on this computer I do not believe that it would be this frustrating. Something to think of in the future, on my part.
I will, however, get Stanis's thrush back to you so you have as accurate a representation of the battle as possible.

wow Aria now that map makes mine seem boring hehe anyways I do have a question sense im pretty everyone heard Mordecai :) but anyways will I get any bonuses due to being on the trees or some such thing ???
EDIT: Rats just looked through cover and concealment and all it says is I can make a stealth check lol doesnt help me :( oh well wish me luck :)

Bonuses to what, friend? You have concealment in the trees, if you don't want to get an arrow through you. but you act before the sentry anyway.
thats a 20% miss chance. Every combat means that the squishy can die. that's what the game is about.
And yeah, that map is pretty awesome, isn't it? Took a damn long time to make, but is worth it. I think I will be doing all the maps provided in the AP in the same way, if you gents don't mind.
As for randoms, I'll just set the scene for those, or if there are multiple enemies, i'll supplement with googledocs spreadsheets.

Dun worry planning out my moves now though its going to take me around 2 rounds double moving to get to the tower as im sneaking through rough terrain lol
Round 1 is move to C13 sneaking double move
Round 2 is possible double move to be 5 ft up the ladder dunno can you check my math? oh btw did anyone say how tall the towers looked?
