But ha ha! I have found a Druid to cast reincarnate and the b**** comes back as a kobold! Muahahahahah PUNT! yeah RL game our tiefling rogue and gm's ranger got killed by a Roc, and then tam's druid was "forced" by their b*$#!ing to cast Reincarnate. The girl came back as a Halfling and then had us spend more party loot to Miracle herself back into her old form, but the Ranger got to come back as a fricking Dwarf which makes him even more broken than he was.
I was really miffed though :P I rolled it for fun and my gallant Cavalier would have come back as a Lizardfolk!!! He was 1 away from True Death and stabilized. I was very put out ;) Lizardfolk always have been one of my favorite races! Lolz but I know everyone would have insisted I pay the gold to turn back into a human, and as a character I probably would have had to anyways, since my Knight was married with 2 daughters.
Lolz overall very good, and very bad session. Although I have to say, Tam's druid opened up such a can of whoop-@$$ on the Roc! Improved Natural Attacks, Frigid Touch and Thornbody took it from 7 rounds of half-health to 2 away from death. I told the gm's ranger that he had to hand over the "Damage-Dealer" sticker and he said "Well Dane did 23 damage in one attack." yeah he also got killed immediatly afterwards sooooo...Tam did almost 60 damage in one round, but we didn't press it. we knew who saved our keisters, and it weren't no broken unneeded two-handed ranger ^^ anyways I'm done rambling.

Ali, kressle was dead.
Beyond Con damage dead. As in NEVER getting back up.
Whoops missed, that James attack was at her. ;p
Oh well, one less it attempt to escape/question/cart back to Olegs. Of course not trying to get into a Alignment/Good Vs. Evil debate; but i think it would be best to bring them back for at least our 'mock justice'. So the people can see we try to be fair/ honest.
(Although any executions should be private)
Stanislaw Quill
Sorry that I have not been overly active of late. In the process of moving, and got lots of work both at my job and in private, renovating the new place.
Stanis is all about the civilized approach to justice, and will offer clemency to anyone who displays a true or at least convincing desire to conform to the ways of good and order. Being the goody two-shoe he is.
@Mordecai: My RL group of munchkins have proven to me that dealing anything less than 100 points of damage/rd as a dedicated combatant at lv8+ is pedestrian. Sword & Board fighter in my KM game WILL hit on most all his 7-8 attacks, he WILL deal over 150 damage, and he WILL have you prone if even a single one of those attacks are critical hits.
But it usually doesn't matter, as the wizard will have won the battle in round 2 >_>
GM Aria
Yeah. I'm going to be kinda quiet on this one as well. I don't want you guys to get too ahead of James, as this is a cooperative effort. As I see it, you now have among your many options to continue to pursue the bandits, or to continue to explore.
And since Ali is the only one who has made an attempt to speak with them just yet...
Also guys, Congrats You have reached 2nd level!
Oh yeah, HP per level is either Rolled or Average + CON. You decide if you want to take the risk.
If you roll for HP, do it here, please.
Ali Harper
Well, i am sure we can continue RPing the decision what to do with them & a long journey to Olegs (or whatever we decide). Thus taking few major decisions & get not too far ahead of James (like in his DF game)
btw, HP is it rolled? Is there a min value/ re-roll 1'a or a fixed amount?
Stanislaw Quill

Levelling
+ 'Detect Undead' Known
Uhm, as I have run this AP before, I feel compelled to tell you that Detect Undead is a spell that will have minimal benefit.
Bless, Liberating Command, Protection From Evil and Sanctuary are all superior choices, in my experience. Not that I want there to be meta or cheese, but as a spontaneous caster, being stuck with mostly useless spells is kinda boring.
Ali Harper
Unfortunately it is my bonus spell, for my life mystery. I was almost going to take the Stargazer Archetype, which would have given a few cool benefits and replaced all the Oracle bonus spells. But at higher levels the Life Mystery bonus spells are essential (lesser restoration/neutralise poison 4/6).
Trying to figure out 0th spell. Either;
Guidance - too useful, therefore almost boring
Detect Poison - Interesting, flavourful, not useful (although stops food being poisoned easily)
Mending - Fun & Flavourful
Virtue - Useful (ish) @ low levels
GM Aria
Virtue is temp HP, only works once per hour or something, and is utterly useless after. You cannot get hit for less than one HP, so essentially it's a throw away spell.
Guidance is only useful as long as you're in touch range.
Mending is always useful.
People are not going to try to poison you in the game, especially not at low levels. Posion is expensive, and anyone who can afford it to use it against you will know that you're there to negate its effects anyway. Honestly, the way the game is structured, only idiots without access to a healer can be poisoned, and a level 0 spell can completely neutralize any bad juju in an instant.
The other use of detect poison is meta, or you're running around with detect poison going like x-men's cyclops vision, or a paladin. waste of rounds and actions when something is hurting your buddies.
Ali Harper
Errm, what i might do is heal the bandits to conciousness. Then we can put Kressle into the ground then. We should probably wait the night here (it's defensible if the bandits come back & softer). Then we can take the bandits back into the Trade Post to be judged.
Aria, i take it night has fallen/falling?
Sorry, just putting this here so as not to clutter up the IC thread with too much debating...
Mordecai Jethramson
Mending is always nice to have around :), Guidance is pretty nice but it only lasts for one attack or check so it gets repetitive.
You all have such complicated levels! XD I love fighters for yet another reason:
Level 2 Fighter
2 skill ranks per level
+1 BAB per level
Feat
+1 Fort save
AAAAND that's the level :P
Ali Harper
The only good thing with Virtue is that with the life link if Mordecai or someone gets hit for 6HP then they would be fine (I'd be 5 down though). Yes, it's only 1HP but it's 0th level.
Personnaly I do like Mending or something like Spark, for the feel of it rather than the mechanics because it actually does something rather than a ethereal +1 to a stat. Like old-school Unearthed Arcana Cantrips.
The only real reason i was looking a detect Poison is because Stannis does/cannot have it and as a spontaneous caster i have access to any of my cantrips. Yes, it would be pointless but quite funny just to be your own food taster. (Although neutralise poison, is a bonus spell so, meh) Yeah, the paladin vision is funny. My RL GM though does cause the paladin to arbitrarily fall unconcious if he uses it too much (esp. in Evil Temples) same with the Paladins Gem of True Seeing.
GM Aria
Yeah. there's currently two sleepy bandits, one fled bandit, one sentry on top of a pole, and one bleeding sentry on top of another pole. if you got climb, you can get to him, if not, that's where he's staying. Unless Tam threw him off the platform, in which case he'd take 2d6 falling damage and probably be proper dead.
And yea, you did this at night, so you might want to at least drag the dead dead kressle away.
but again, since you're the only one posting anything in the thread...

Wasn't there also bleeding magenta bandit (or is he one of the others)? Although he did get a bit of healing (if he didn't die from the first assault, cause he was furthest forward.

Bwahaha, well last week it was actually warm over here in Blighty. The warmest 1st October ever, 20+ deg C!
Of course now it's back to being cold & wet.
I'll try an post some more to make it coherent, but is it with the party if we wake up the sleepers, rather than have them do it naturally in the middle of the night?
Ali Harper
Holy, the dice might actually have worked! Anyway, i plan on posting Kressles funeral? But i didn't want to finish that oratory with a funeral.
edit- last dice was incorrect tagged - please roll for save/dam Aria then Ali will bur a cure light
GM Aria
Gentlemen, I present you with
The Loot
Kressle
potion of cure light wounds; studded leather armor, 2 masterwork handaxes, 4 daggers, 85 gp
The Bandits
5 sets leather armor, 5 short swords, 5 Longbows, 94 arrows, 10 days trail rations, 50 gp
and since I assume that someone will check the camp thoroughly...
the bandit's loot
321 sp, 90 gp, a pair of silver earrings worth 150 gp, a wooden music box worth 90 gp, three crates of furs and hides worth 50 gp per crate and a polished wooden case of potent greenish herbal liquor. There are still eight bottles with liquor left in them, each worth 20 gp.
Stanislaw Quill
You need to fail a climb check by 5 to fall. Failing by 1-4 just means you stalls and do not make any progress. Which in and of itself is pretty horrible if you are stuck climbing in combat and wasting a round.
Stanis is not interested in any of the loot per se, but will suggest we bring it all in order to sell it.
Mordecai Jethramson
Even so GM Aria, the detail is amazing! I'm sorry for not adding much in the ways of Interrogation, Mordecai isn't much good at diplomacy, though I plan to change that through gameplay. Not wanting to come off as the wanna-be bad@$$ just trying to find a niche where Mordecai's character can come through :) he wants to believe in the power of the law, despite his current record, and he is willing to do things not everyone else is.
GM Aria
Yeah, I may be slow, but I'm hoping that even my bandits come off as having a personality.
What I lack in number of posts as a GM as I'm reading how you guys are presenting yourselves I make up for in quality of posts as a GM, I hope.
I dunno if my CC group is frustrated with how I work, since I do the same thing with them, essentially, waiting until they've all had a say before my NPCs respond to them, unless they're talking to them individually.
And don't worry about not being so active in the interrogation, I just knew that Ali and James would probably have something to say and didn't want to rush ahead and have them wondering why they didn't get to participate.
Ali Harper
RE: Loot does someone want to put it in their character profile? Thus we have it in one place.
Also Aria, for starting Gold i just gave Ali some basic equipment. Was it meant to be rolled, averaged? Not that i am really bothered.
Mordecai Jethramson
Whoa, Mord. Citizens of Brevoy?
Umm... what?
Sorry I get confused with Geography, with Stanis always talking about Brevoyan law I assume that's the country we're in predominatly but lolz i is fighter, i leave knowledge to the wizard. Oh look shiny sword! lolz just kidding. sorry didn't mean to confuse I'll try and keep geographical terms outta my posts unless it concerns Restov.
GM Aria
It was max at first level, now I recall.
But, you know, you don't need much, and getting magical stuff like scrolls would be silly for your background.
So if you want what you didn't have to be added to your total gold, I am cool with it.
I'm keeping loot for one of my groups in a google document I've linked through my profile. I suggest that one of you could do the same.
Ali Harper
I have put a Party Loot Spoiler in Ali's Profile, i will go back through the thread and put all the stuff in it if thats alright. Tam the shares of money you gave out, did you liquidate any of the treasure for it (Silver Earrings). Just so as i know not to remove them.
Aria yes i agree it doesn't make sense for Ali to have lots of Gold how about a Heirloom from her Real Noble Father, which her mother euther stole or was given as a token of their love(I'll think of something suitably twisted). Which could be worth the difference in the starting capital.
Sorry, everyone about these ideas but the bandits are right we cannot leave them at Olegs, there would be too many of them. The could go on a killing spree.
