I am thinking of adding this spell to 42's spellbook. Symbol of Striking but I am wondering... It's an activated symbol, so I could cast it on something and then activate it later... is there anything that says that i can't cast it a day or week before activating it? If so, I have several swords i could cast it upon.

Symbol of Striking is location based. You put it into a 5' square, and it takes AoOs.
If you're looking for good 5th level spells, I'd recommend Overland Flight. Teleport, or Wall of Force.

I would recommend overland flight. It is a personal-only spell, so I cannot cast it on you. And being able to fly 24/7 is immensely useful.
Kaldane has wings and Exiel and Ralph both have overland flight. That leaves only you on the ground, so you might find yourself the exclusive target of any ground-based opponent...

As I said, if we do end up doing Jade Regent, I'll play and it won't be the end of the world, as I know we'll end of skipping things, but sheer dint of the fact that PFS doesn't have players play everything.

Ugh, sorry Ralph, mate, I messed up on my chronicle info. Starting XP should be 38, not 41, and my starting prestige should be 29, not 40. 40 was what I had spent. XD

Hey guys, just a heads-up that I have credit for book 5 of Rise of the Runelords on Exiel so that should probably be taken off the list of options... I did it on slow track though to stay at the same level as you guys.

Yes, I can do giantslayer. I prepped it and was running it about a year ago, although they hadn't reached book 5. I'll just stay quiet as to making important decisions.

I wound up coming down with a bug for a couple of days during my time off, which sucked. It made looking over things really difficult.
