The skeletal knight's shield absorbs the first blow. The second blow leaves a telling mark on his bones, even though the attack is not as effective as a hammer or a mace.

"QUIT IT!" shrieks Trinken, smoking rising from his ears. Raising the blade high over his head, he swings it for the foe once...thing again!

Trinken slams his axe into the middle of the skeletal knight's breastplate, and the foe crumbles to the ground in a pile of bone and metal.
The zombies continue their mindless assault. Zork outmaneuvers his enemy, but the undead next to Oktai manages to land his second hit.

Oktai |

With the skeletal knight taken down, Oktai takes a moment to decide which target to go after. He would rather not face the zombies along, so instead he moves away from the one next to him, dashing to flank the other one with Zork.

PF2 Tidbit: Not to be used against the enemy, since nobody has made a Recall Knowledge check vs. the zombies, but there's a feature to PF2 that's different. Weapons no longer do multiple types of damage (e.g. Morningstar B/P). Instead, some weapons have the versatile quality that allows you to actively change the damage type (e.g. Shortsword is P, versatile S). It does not take an action to swap, but it must be declared.

Trinken Hootch |

Squealing as the foe drops, the goblins red eyes fall on the foe in blue. Surging forward, he swings his axe overhead and slashes at the foe...twice!

GM Blake |

The last of the zombies slowly burns and crumbles. You are now left--apparently alone--to search for clues.

Oktai |

perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Oktai pants heavily to catch his breath after the last undead has gone down. He winces slightly when he examines his wounds but decides to leave them for later and instead searches the ground. Sure enough, he finds a blood trail leading to a hole to the northeast. He walks carefully across to it, and looks down cautiously.

GM Blake |

Oktai sees an elf woman laying on the floor of the cellar with an obviously broken leg. She looks up to you and squints.
"You're not Wennel," she states. "Can you help me out of here?"
With the skeletal knights and zombies destroyed, it is a relatively simple matter to hoist the woman out of the hole.
"Thank you. I'm Nelfurhin," she introduces herself. (The Pathfinder that went missing.)

Zork Alleyoop |

Can I use the new Treat Wounds skill option? Hmm, actually I don't have a medicine kit. Probably need that.
"Are you hurt? Hold on, I'll heal all of us!"
Zork channels energy to heal everyone, including Nelfurhin. 3 HP healed to everyone.

Trinken Hootch |

Slowly relaxing as he realizes there are not further foes, he trots along behind Okatai.
"Wennel? Am I this Wennel....nope. I'm Trinken. Nice ter meetcha. What was you expecting to find?"

GM Blake |

"Thank you," Nelfurhin says as Zork's healing energy repair some of the damage to her leg, allowing her to get by, if by limping painfully.
"Wennel was a priest of Milani who helped me to get my bearings after I was freed following the great siege," she explains. "We stayed in touch. For the past two months, he was on the hunt for a secretive cell of slave traders who were abducting freed slaves.[b]
[b]"He showed up at my door several days ago, and I, expecting my friend, opened it. Sadly, it was not Wennel any longer but a reanimated corpse. He attacked me, and when I woke up I was here. I fell through the floor when I tried to escape.
"Now," she says, looking around at the twice-dead corpses, "Should we get out of here?"

GM Blake |

"Oh, yes, my home," she says with a small chuckle. "I assume that it has not been rented away in the few days that I've been gone. But I should stop at the Lodge, first."
