Sorry, Eshshah, forgot about the conceilment! Thanks for rolling that for me! Eshsha got bitten by the blue spider before Kiyomi killed it ;) Was the second Fort save a reroll of the fist one or a consecutive save? If it was not a reroll, I need a second successful check.

Phase spiders are visitors from the Ethereal Plane.
You have the feeling that the will o' wisps are watching you, but they did not summon the spiders. They seem to be feasting on the death of the crabs. While Etrigan eats crabmeat you have time to search the room.

While Mollok shares his information about the observatory Iason studies the steles. Iason thinks that the lenses have the correct size to replace any broken lenses in the device, but he has no idea how to place them properly.
You know how to place the lenses properly, but tampering with the device without knowing exactly how it works is extremely dangerous.
The stele is a lens-manipulation instruction. It also carries a warning to students to wear their armillary amulets. you get a bonus to a check later, I will tell you when ;)

Iason spends some time after reading the stele in studying the lenses and the contraption, with furrowed brow.
