Noro looks to the capatin and hearing her inspiring yet somehow melancholy tune Noro rushes toward the lead fish face.
grapple attack: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 15 + 2 = 24
rushing forward Noro grabs hold of the creature locking its limbs to force it to release the spear.
fluff stuff, simply advance and grapple I assume that succeeds if not then feel free to alter the fluff
A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.
concentration check will be 25+spell level.
Noro's grappled AC 14
Noro's penalties are half due to her abilities.

With battle joined, Sunny begins to slide sideways - hoping to flank and gain advantage that way.

Round 1: GM roll: 1d2 ⇒ 2
Everyone draws weapons, except for Noro, who was close enough to take a 5 foot step and grapple, and Alistair moves while drawing his weapon, getting in melee range. (surprise rounds only allow one action. I rolled to see if you or Noro were in range for your attack and she won. )
Lack of maps really show when there is a surprise round, or limited actions, that's for sure. Hopefully, I'll be able to get that fixed soon.
Sahaguin 1, who is grappled by Noro, makes an attempt to escape.

Veska? Curious...

Delben's drumming will take on a new dimension as he weaves another beat into his previous song. This new melody is stifling, almost suffocating, and clearly directed towards the Sahaguin Noro is slowly strangling.

Delben, you have no idea who Veska is. You've never heard the name mentioned at all.
When Sunny's turn comes up, she scores a hit on the sahaguin, but his thick, scaly skin prevents it from cutting as deep as it should have.
Edit: I forgot about Harvey's pirate jargon and his attacks. Sorry Harv!
Sahaguin Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Harvey's shot hits the sahaguin solidly in the chest, causing the creature to stumble for a second, but his words aren't nearly as effective, as the sahaguin stands and presses its attack on Alistair.

Sahaguin 2 (done)

Alistair (done)
Nalgi moves past Noro to investigate the tunnel puddle and make sure no other beasts are going to leap out, keeping her and her grappled prey in between himself and the standing sahaguin.
Harvey's shot knocks the creature down to one knee, where Alistair runs it through with his blade, setting Sunny up for a solid decapitating strike. The body falls the ground by the tunnel puddle, leaking a thick, viscous, black blood over the stonework floor.
The grappled sahaguin continues to struggle against Noro, but is quickly suffocating in her viselike grip.

Alistar Sinclair |

Seeing the fight well handled Alistar stows his sword and calms down so that he may speak the common tounge again.
What were they yelling about. Seemed they started speaking not in Aquan once the fight started.

'Sunny' |

Sunny quickly sets about gathering what ever she can to try and stop the slpilled blood from seeping back into the well.
"No, no, no, no! Very bad! Don't want no leaks showin' them noses where a fight's bin happenin'..." She mutters to herself.
Not sure what skill, if any covers 'Mopping up blood'. :P

Delben Petch |

Confident that Noro has the situation well in hand, Delben will end his performance It will linger for 2 rounds. and cast detect magic, curious to see if the two have any enchantments or magic items.

'Sunny' |

Go Go Profession: Janitor!
Lol. :)
Once she's done her best with trying to stop information about the group's actions leaking out/away...Sunny then helps tie up/secure the one that Noro has subdued. (Assuming that was subdued and that Noro doesn't have squished sahaguin all over herself.)
Then Sunny moves to examine the door that she found.

The sahaguin falls unconscious after Noro chokes it out, slumping limply over her arms.
The door Sunny investigates is not so much a door as it is a flat piece of painted and disguised wood that covers a doorway. The passage the doorway leads to is dark, and descends for about five feet, and is flooded with water, which looks to be about waist deep on a normal sized person. difficult terrain in the hallway
Most of the blood is able to be stopped from dripping into the pool, but about a pint escapes the mad janitorial skills of the small elfen maiden, though it's so viscous it doesn't spread very fast in the water. success at keeping any other shark men from learning what happened quickly.

Sunny slips into through the door way and carefully wades a little ways into the new found corridor. She peers into the darkness...

"here? Any one got somat ta' brign a lil' light in't tha' situation?" She asks quietly, not wanting sound to travel ahead of their explorations.

Sunny nods and peers again into the depths of the tunnel.

"Um..." Sunny pauses...before scampering back outside to see about helping with the last fishy kind.

Delben Petch |

No magic on them?
"Well done everyone, though I suggest we use great caution continuing forward, there are undoubtedly countless more Sauhaguin in these halls. I wonder what they were speaking about. Veska?"
Delben will say ask he walks into the corridor. A silent beat on his drum will conjure several faint lights that will dance about Sunny as she continues down it's length.

'Sunny' |

Sorry, sorry, sorry I am to have dragged peoples away from th'a doings at the front door! Am rilly ken an' happy fer peoples ta' resolve Noro's fish problem.
Um...maybe that din't come out quite tha' right way...?

![]() |

The hall, when looked upon with light, is painted with the same colors and spiral designs that the squid is painted with. It goes on for about twenty feet or so, and then ends in a set of doors. There are also a set of doors on each wall about ten feet away from the doors the hallway ends in.
Three sets of doors total, one that the hallway terminates in, and two ten feet away from those on the walls.
The doors on the sides are simple wooden covers, like the one that was hiding the hall in the first place, and the doors at the end are heavy wooden doors, accentuated with metal bands and a place for a large lock, but the lock is absent.
The water covering the floor of the hallway reflects a murky black, and smells of seafood and brine.
The sahaguin Noro strangled into unconsciousness stirs a little, but remains KO'd.
I have everything for this area set at home, still trying to figure out the best way to get the map uploaded for you all, but for now I'll try and stay very descriptive of the areas you are in. Sorry for the delay in the post, there was alcohol and lots of shenanigans at the party and it didn't end until almost five in the morning!

Alistar Sinclair |

Alistar makes his way back out to the others to report.
Three sets of doors. There is a left set and a right set, probably just rooms off to either side but who knows and the main set at the end are different. Heavy wooden doors. They could have a lock on the front, but there is none there now.

Delben Petch |

"Well, we might as well start on the right. "
Delben will say, walking down the hall.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Delben will take a close look at the door, and he'll whisper back to the others,
"If someone else opens the door I can enshroud them in an illusion in case there are othe Sauhaguin beyond. Of course we could also just enter spells blazing...

As Delben starts down the hallway, the water reaches to just under his chin. After a few steps, the dorsal fins of three sharks break the water! They circle Delben, and then lazily align into a sort of formation, swimming ahead of him. It is then that everyone notices the signature piercings in the dorsal fins, marking them as Nalgi's sharks.
They must have found a way in from the ocean. he says, keeping his trident ready and following Delben. [/b]We won't have much to fear, with them by our side. Let's hope they're able to follow us for a while. [/b]

'Sunny' |

Having made sure as best she can that their unconscious sauhaguin is both secure and at least not in danger of drying out (Maybe leave it inside the door way of the hall we're investigating?) Suny moves to follow every one into the flooded hall-way.
Swim check:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Hmmm...not sure how getting such a high swim roll reflects also getting such a botched stealth roll. :/

hey all, work is been a nightmare lately, working 72 hours a week right now barely any free time, trying to fit posts in where I can.
Did we want to queshtion thish one? or are we jusht movin on?
noro is dragging an unconcious sahaguin along.
seeing that there is little interest in questioning it Noro will just kill it. then catch up.

Harvey Dagger |

Capt, let me open the door.
Jackson the monkey is sitting on my shoulder at this point
walks up to the door that Delben was talking about and gives the signal 1....2....3...
at the number 3 he slowly begins pulling on the door and trys to open it up with as being quiet as possible

'Sunny' |

Suny crouches in the water, using it as partial cover, and watches to see if the portal was water tight...

![]() |

The door opens up into a room that can only be disguised as a grisly trophy room. The skeletons and decayed corpses that are chained to the wall and hanging from the ceiling have been stripped of all clothing and gear, and the wounds on their bodies easily identified as having been inflicted by the murderous sahaguin, and Nalgi can identify others as having been inflicted by sharks.
Perception checks, please.

![]() |

Also, Sunny, none of the doors so far are not water tight, including the double doors. Most of them are makeshift wooden replacements for the doors that once adorned this place ages ago, but have since fallen apart, or have been removed for some reason.
EDIT:Fixed an important typo. I hate when my phone decides to change what I type without telling me first.
