Abomentolor Goblinburner |

"Last one down is a lame duck." Abomentolor states and magics himself and the golem down to the bottom of the shaft.
Dimension door. All but one could grab Abomentolor or the golem to come along.

Foxy Quickpaw |

A ten-foot-wide, fifteen-foot-long hallway extends from the bottom of a deep pit, ending at a massive pair of black metal double doors. The faces of these doors bear a detailed carving of a vast mountain range under a night sky—an eerie castle of immense size crowning the tallest of the mountains. The doors are made of adamant.

Brother Grergof Varsk |

Grergif air walks down so the others can take the quick trip via dimension door.
Seeing the Door Grergof says:
Well the dragon for past so there must be a way to open these. Any traps, magic or locks?

Abomentolor Goblinburner |

"Shall we destroy them, or do you want to pick the lock? It would be a pity to destroy them. That stuff is worth a lot. If I had an idea how to move them, we could make a fortune."

Brother Grergof Varsk |

Yikes! Are you ok Mr Spugnoir?

"We could improve this situation, in that we don't stand in the way while Spugnoir tries to unlock the door."

Foxy Quickpaw |

The door is unlocked, but again, the cold wind blows through the room. Then the door opens. A vast cathedral towers here, lit by flickering blue lights that dance in the upper reaches of the yawning space. The floor is of a sickly blue stone so polished and reflective that it almost serves as a cerulean mirror. To the west, the ceiling is a mere fifty feet high, but as the cathedral widens to the east, the ceiling rises to twice that height. Stone pillars support the space above, while to the west, six alcoves containing statues of winged women with empty faces stand guard. A twenty-foot-tall stone double door sits in the cathedral’s northern wall, its face carved with a depiction of a vast mountain range capped by a towering castle. Far to the east, a series of steps rises up to a wide pulpit on which crouches an elephantine faceless sphinx carved from black stone.

Darius heals himself and then Abomentolor. "That looks interesting. Does any of what we came through look somehow related? Or had they a competition where everyone got to design one room."

Brother Grergof Varsk |

Well the faceless angels looks similar…. What looks magic?

Foxy Quickpaw |

Above the pshinx hovers something strange. It flickers and shifts, passing from visibility to invisibility in a seemingly random pattern and often not wholly at once. What is seen is covered in roiling winds and ugly.

This reminds me of something...hmmm..... Spugnoir splashes everyone with Haste.

Foxy Quickpaw |

The creature is wounded by the fire. The ugly thing becomes extra spooky in its looks. DC24 Will vs. Frightful presence.
Also it causes a wind that sucks everyone towards it. This wind slows all inside this wind. Fort DC26 to negate being slowed. All while keeping hovering at 30 feet height.
