Leading the team and spitting to clear his mouth, Luccinus moves to the next room.


Cracked and crumbling frescos line the walls of this large empty room. The sections of the frescos not destroyed by the passing ages show Qadiran men engaged in battle. A rough stone tunnel leads off to the northwest, as if the ground simply cleft in two ages ago. A pile of bones rests just inside the passage.

You stop 5 feet from the bones, and see assorted coins, a golden crown, a very nice looking short sword, and a wax-sealed scroll case.

I'm looking around to avoid a repeat from last time, and seeing what I can determine before I start rummaging through. Does it look like a pile of bones like something was eating it and piled it up?

There is a scroll case with likely a magical scroll inside the half orc tells the party.


It looks like a human skeleton that just crumbled.

Harper, move to flank it! Can I 5' step into the opposite side of the skeleton, if Harper takes a 5' step toward the wall? (Though it might be dropped by then...)

After the skeleton attacks, Fung takes a 5' step to the side opposite Harper, and throws a One-Two combination.

Harper swings at the skeleton, and although he hit, he feels like he didnt deal his full damage to it.

However, Fung steps in and bashes it in the chest which explodes the skeleton into bonemeal.

Sorry, which tunnel are you referring to? The one on the bottom left corner of the room you are in (squiggly one), the one on the top left, or the one on the top center (the 5-foot wide-looking one)?

After a few minutes of walking through the narrow passage, you are greeted by the sun above. You emerge on the side of the keep, and on your left you can eventually see the rubble and sandstone formations where you fought Maurit.

This crossroads of stairs has one dominant feature: a crumbled statue in the southeast corner, once the image of a proud warrior chiseled roughly in granite. The statue’s helmeted head now rests on the floor, its lifeless stone eyes gazing toward the south. On the helmet, a single Kelish word is carved in the stone. The wide stairway to the north leads to a passage that ends in a cave-in ten feet past the foot of the stairs.

Is the cave in impassible? If it is, I guess we have to continue East.


Even without Knowledge (engineering) or (dungoneering), you are pretty sure it is impassable (short of days of labor with pickaxes or explosives).
